with God all things are possible...

We hear your cry for restoration and resurrection in every area of your life, your heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. You are right to stand on the truth that with God, all things are possible, for Scripture declares, "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" (Mark 9:23 WEB). Yet we must also examine what true restoration looks like according to God’s Word, for He does not merely patch up what is broken but makes all things new in Christ.

First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You invoked the Heavenly Father and the name of Jesus Christ, which is the only way to approach God. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." (Matthew 18:3 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, now is the time to confess your sins, repent, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without this, no true restoration can take place, for it is only through Christ that we are reconciled to God.

Now, let us pray for you with boldness and faith, knowing that God hears the cries of His children. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is seeking resurrection and restoration in every area of their life. Father, You are the God who raises the dead, who brings beauty from ashes, and who restores what the locusts have eaten. We ask that You would breathe new life into their heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. Where there has been despair, let hope arise. Where there has been doubt, let faith take root. Where there has been sorrow, let joy overflow.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of death, despair, and hopelessness that has tried to take hold of their life. We declare that in Christ, they are more than conquerors, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray that You would heal their wounds, mend their brokenness, and restore them fully to the purpose and plan You have for their life. Father, let them experience Your love in a fresh and powerful way, so that they may walk in the fullness of what You have called them to be.

We also pray for discernment and wisdom, that they would not be led astray by false teachings or worldly philosophies. Help them to stand firm on Your Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Let them not be swayed by the empty promises of this world but find their hope and joy in You alone.

If there are areas in their life that do not align with Your Word, whether in relationships, habits, or beliefs, we ask that You would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. For "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB). Father, we pray that they would walk in holiness and purity, honoring You in all they do.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community, believers who will encourage them, pray for them, and walk alongside them in their journey. Let them not be isolated but connected to the body of Christ, where they can grow and thrive.

We declare over them the promise of Your Word: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. Then my people will never again be disappointed." (Joel 2:25-26 WEB). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He will lead you into the fullness of His promises. You are not alone in this journey, we stand with you in prayer, and God is with you always.

We’re sitting with your request right now, and the weight of it is not lost on us. You’ve named what so many of us have felt but rarely put into words, a need for resurrection not just of circumstances but of the very inner parts that keep us going. When faith, hope, and joy feel dead and buried, it takes immense courage to ask God to breathe life into them again. So thank you for letting us join you in that asking.

We’ve learned that this kind of restoration rarely happens in a single moment. God sometimes raises things gradually, tenderly, like a dawn that comes so slowly we don’t notice the light until it’s already spilling over. That doesn’t make His power any less real; it just means we might need to hold on through days when we don’t yet feel the resurrection. Your cry is not a failure of faith, it’s faith straining toward the only One who can do the impossible.

If you feel able, we’d gently encourage one tangible step: link arms with someone who will stand in hope for you when yours runs thin. A trusted prayer partner, a mature friend from your fellowship, who will simply be with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness until you can see it again. You don’t have to manufacture joy on your own; sometimes another’s steady presence is a conduit for God’s restoring grace.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this one who is so desperate for resurrection. You know every place inside where hope has shriveled, where faith flickers, where joy has fled. Breathe into each of those corners. Restore what the years and wounds have laid waste. Even when nothing seems to change, anchor this heart in Your promise that with You all things are possible. Hold this beloved one close, and let them feel, even now, the first faint warmth of new dawn. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

You feel as though everything inside you has turned to dust, heart, soul, faith, hope, joy, all of it lying in a cold, silent tomb. And you look at that stone rolled over the entrance, and you say, “It is impossible. Humanly speaking, this is the end.” I know that feeling. I have sat beside many a soul who looked at their own inward deadness and whispered, “Can these bones live?” But listen to me: the Lord Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life, and He does not wait for the stone to be rolled away by our weak hands. He speaks, and what was dead rises.

You have held onto that word: “With God all things are possible.” Good. Cling to it as a drowning man clings to a spar in the deep. But do not merely repeat it as a proverb, let it sink down into the places where hope has gone cold. The Lord who made the heavens and the earth can as easily refashion your ruined heart as He can command the spring to melt the frost from a garden. He can make you as though you had never been cast aside, as though your faith had never flickered, as though joy had never fled away in the night. I have read His promise, and I stake my own soul upon it: He says, “They shall be as though I had not cast them off.” Do you hear that? Not merely patched up, not half-restored, but made new, as if the fall had never happened.

You say it is impossible. Yes, for you it is, and for me. That is exactly when Christ loves to work. A poor woman came to Him once, her life a long grief, and she had nothing but the hem of His garment to touch. Little faith, yet it brought wholeness. Peter, bold Peter, with his little faith, cried out as he sank, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him. He did not say, “Come back when your faith is bigger.” No, He saved him on the spot. So will He do for you. If all you can manage is the faintest cry, the feeblest reaching of a trembling hand, He will honor it. Faith is the hand that takes hold of eternal realities; even when the hand shakes, the grasp is real.

I know the bitterness you taste. You wonder if God has turned against you. Job felt that when he said, “The Almighty has vexed my soul,” and yet in the same breath he would not let go of his God. He knew that the bitter cup was measured by a Father’s hand. The very God who allows your soul to be broken is the God who will bind it up again. The sharp treatment is not to destroy you but to make room for double grace. There is a tenderness coming out of this that you cannot yet see; the winter is the Maker’s plowing, and green shoots will follow.

Perhaps you find it hard to believe that joy could ever return. I have seen it: a man hears good news so wonderful that his heart faints, and he cannot believe it for joy. Jacob, when they told him Joseph was alive and governor of Egypt, could not take it in, it seemed too good to be true. So it may be with you now. The promise of full restoration dazzles your weary eyes. But it is true. Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and that same power is for you. He will give back the song, the laughter, the quiet hope. Not because you deserve it, but because He is gracious.

Notice this: you are praying. You are crying out from the dust. That itself is a token for good. The Lord would not hear you if He did not intend to answer. He says, “I am the Lord their God, and I will hear them.” The prayer that struggles up from your chest is the breath of the Spirit already at work. Before the service of your life is over, you will praise Him for the mercy that seemed so far away.

So lift your head, dear soul. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He who raised the widow’s son, who called Lazarus out of the tomb, who rose triumphant from Joseph’s garden, will visit your heart and bring life out of death. Your part is simply to look to Him and wait, not with the strained waiting of despair, but with the quiet watching of faith. The morning will break, the stone will be rolled away, and you will walk in newness of life.

Now, let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You are the resurrection and the life. Look upon Your child who feels dead within. Speak the word: “Live.” Restore the heart that has grown cold, the soul that languishes, the faith that has nearly perished. Put back the hope and the joy that have slipped away, and let it be as though they had never been lost. Do what only You can do, for with You nothing is impossible. We cast ourselves upon Your mercy and Your mighty power. Amen.
