with God all things are possible...

We hear your cry for restoration and resurrection in every area of your life, heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. You are absolutely right to cling to the truth that with God, all things are possible, for Scripture declares, "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" (Mark 9:23). We stand with you in agreement, lifting your request before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children and moves mightily on their behalf.

Yet we must also gently remind you that true restoration begins with surrender, yielding every broken piece of your life to the One who alone can make all things new. The Word tells us, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17). This means not just asking for change, but walking in repentance where needed, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict, cleanse, and renew. Have you examined your heart to see if there are areas where sin has taken root, bitterness, unforgiveness, or perhaps compromise in your walk with God? The Lord is faithful to forgive and restore when we confess and turn from these things (1 John 1:9).

We also notice your prayer is firmly rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, and this is vital. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). It is only through the finished work of Christ on the cross that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every struggle. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, let us pray with you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is crying out for resurrection and restoration. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, the longings of their soul, and the areas where faith has waned. We ask You to breathe new life into every dead place, just as You breathed life into Adam and raised Lazarus from the grave. Restore their joy, strengthen their hope, and deepen their faith, for You are the God who makes all things new.

Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of sin or disobedience that may be hindering Your work in their life. Convict them gently by Your Spirit, lead them to repentance, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Break every chain of past hurts, disappointments, and failures, and replace them with Your peace and purpose. Let them walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We declare over them the truth of Your Word: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten... You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied, and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God, who has dealt wondrously with you." (Joel 2:25-26). May they experience Your supernatural provision, healing, and joy in ways that defy human understanding.

Lord, we also pray for protection over their mind and heart. Guard them from the enemy’s lies, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Fill them instead with Your truth, Your love, and Your presence. Let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are for them, not against them, and that nothing is impossible for You.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this dear one rise up in the power of Your Spirit, walking in victory and testifying to Your goodness. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), and His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Walk closely with Him, spend time in His presence, and surround yourself with believers who will encourage and strengthen you. The road to restoration may not always be easy, but it is always worth it when we are walking with the Lord. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone, we are standing with you, and more importantly, God is with you.

We hear the ache in your words, and we're holding onto that same promise with you: what feels impossible to us is not impossible to God. It takes real courage to name exactly what feels dead inside, your heart, your soul, your faith, your hope, your joy, and to ask for resurrection. That kind of honesty is itself a flicker of life, even if you can't feel it right now.

Sometimes the hardest part of a dry season is that we know the truth but can't touch it. Faith and hope can seem like distant concepts while our emotional world stays flat and gray. Please know you aren't failing by feeling this way. God doesn't ask you to manufacture what only He can restore. He simply asks you to stay, to keep showing up with the emptiness, and to let His presence do the quiet work in the hidden places of your heart.

We find it often helps to let another believer into that space with you. Is there a trusted friend, a pastor, or a prayer partner you could share this burden with? Having someone who will sit with you without trying to fix you, and who will simply keep speaking hope over you when you can't find your own voice, can be a lifeline.

Father, we bring this person before You now, exactly as they are, worn, hollowed out, and clinging to Your promise. You know every part that feels dead. We ask You to breathe life into their heart again, to restore their soul, to rekindle their faith and hope and joy, not in a momentary way but in a deep, lasting renewal. Hold them steady when they have no strength of their own. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

You have looked at the dry bones of your own soul and said, “It is impossible.” You have felt the cold ash where faith once burned, the hollow where hope sang, the heavy silence where joy once danced. And yet, even as you whisper that word “impossible,” the wind of a mightier Word passes over you: “With God all things are possible.” That is not a fond wish; it is the key that fits every lock of despair.

Do you remember the three whom Jesus raised? The little maid, still in her bed, she had just slipped away, the warmth not yet gone from her cheek. The widow’s son, on his bier, already carried out of the gate. And Lazarus, shut in the tomb, with four days of decay upon him. To each of these, Jesus spoke and the dead lived again. But here is the wonder: the same voice that called them calls to you. Your heart may feel like that maiden, quietly cold in its own house; your faith may seem already on the bier, being carried out of reach; your joy may be wrapped in the stench of the tomb, so long dead you dare not hope. But Jesus can speak to any stage of death. He does not need a spark of life to work with; He brings life with Him. His word is the resurrection and the life, and He has not forgotten how to call a soul out of its grave.

You ask for a permanent restoration, for a heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy that will not wither again. That is a large request, but you are asking the right Person. The Lord once gave a promise to a people who had been cast aside: “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside.” He meant a full, irreversible restoration, as though the fall had never been, as though the ruin had never happened. That is the way He loves to work. When He forgives, He blots out the handwriting. When He restores, He makes the bone that was broken stronger than before.

Yet perhaps you feel, “But my faith is so small. I can barely hold onto the thought that He could help me.” Listen, then, to this: the Lord gently chided Peter, “O you of little faith,” but He did not cast him away. He did not say, “Come back when you have grown a great faith.” No, He reached out His hand and caught Peter before the waves swallowed him. That same hand is stretched out to you now. A little faith honestly fixed on Christ is enough, enough to purify the heart, enough to bring the soul into safe harbor. It is not the strength of your faith that saves, but the strength of the One on whom it leans. A single look at Jesus, like the look that melted Peter’s heart after his denial, can start a fountain of repentance and restoration that will never be exhausted.

And that is the secret of the joy and hope you long to see revived: look away from the wreck and toward the love of Christ. Faith is that branch of hyssop which, dipped in His blood, makes the heart clean. But more than that, it is the eye that sees His beauty. When you really see Him, His kindness, His patience, His finished work, you cannot help but love Him. And loving Him breaks the spell of sin and despair. You cannot love Christ and love the death that sits upon your soul. The heart that has been quickened by His love begins to beat with new desires, new affections, a new life.

So come, even now, just as you are. Do not wait until you feel more alive. Bring your death to the Life-giver. Bring your impossible to the God of the impossible. The prayer that has already risen in your heart, “Lord, have mercy upon me!”, that very prayer is a token that the angel of mercy is near. He who gave you the desire to pray will not mock you with silence. He who began this work in you will carry it on until the day of Jesus Christ, when every trace of death will be swallowed up in victory, and your body, soul, and spirit will be presented faultless before His glory with exceeding joy.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, You are the Resurrection and the Life. We bring before You this dear soul, so weary and heavy-laden, so conscious of the deadness within. Speak but a word, and Your servant shall be healed. Call out the life that only You can give, raise the heart that has grown cold, restore the years the locusts have eaten, and let hope spring up like a fountain that never runs dry. Let this one know the touch of Your hand, the sound of Your voice, the look of Your restoring love. And when the work is done, give a song where there was only sighing, for Your own name’s sake. Amen.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. You cry out for resurrection and restoration of your heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy, grounding your plea in the truth that with God all things are possible. Hold fast to this full assurance. For what reason can demonstrate to us the Resurrection?

None, but faith only. The resurrection of Christ, though not yet seen, becomes substantial in our soul through hope, making what is invisible as certain as what lies plainly before our eyes. Do not sorrow as those who have no hope. To afflict yourself over what seems dead is to act like one who knows not the power of His rising.

He Himself met the women after the grave with joy, saying, Be not afraid, and to men He gave peace, because their war was ended. Your heart and soul are not beyond His reach. He who calmed the war within us can restore what is broken, turning sorrow into joy that no man takes from you. Draw near then with a true heart, in full assurance of faith, believing that what He has promised He is able also to perform.

Even when all appears contrary, faith blends together hope against hope. For if you believe that He rose again, you must also believe that He can raise up all that is fallen within you, conforming you to His death that you might know the power of His resurrection. Let your petition be as Peter’s, who leapt forward in love and faith, trusting that Christ could lead him even upon the waves. So too, cast yourself upon His power, and He will restore you permanently.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
