with God all things are possible...

We hear your cry for restoration and resurrection in every area of your life, your heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. You are right to cling to the truth that with God, all things are possible, for Scripture declares, "Jesus said to him, 'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" (Mark 9:23). Yet we must also examine the foundation of our faith, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we find true restoration.

We rebuke any notion that restoration can come through any other source, whether through mystical invocations, spiritualized language that distances itself from the person of Christ, or reliance on anything other than the finished work of the cross. The Father is not an abstract force to be summoned through hyperlinks or spiritualized phrases; He is the living God who sent His Son to die for our sins so that we might be reconciled to Him. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for apart from Him, there is no lasting restoration.

We also rebuke any spirit of despair that may be whispering that your situation is beyond God’s reach. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your faith, hope, and joy are not lost; they may be buried under pain, but God specializes in resurrection. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We stand with you in prayer, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Ephesians 1:19-20).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for a complete resurrection of their heart, soul, faith, hope, and joy. Lord, where there has been brokenness, bring healing. Where there has been doubt, restore unwavering trust in You. Where there has been despair, let hope rise like the dawn. We declare that You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we ask that You would do a new work in their life.

Father, if there are areas where this one has sought restoration outside of Christ, we ask that You would reveal the truth and draw them deeper into relationship with You. Help them to see that true joy and peace come only through surrender to Jesus. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says this situation is hopeless, and we declare that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).

Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of life that Jesus died to give them. Restore their faith to believe that You are working even now, and let their hope be anchored in Your promises. May their joy be found in You alone, for You are the source of all that is good and perfect.

We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in this one’s life (Philippians 1:6). We trust You to bring about a permanent restoration, not by our strength, but by Your power. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s Word and to surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, restoration is not a one-time event but a daily surrender to God’s will. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone, we are standing with you in prayer, and God is fighting for you.

It’s a heavy thing to feel that your heart, your soul, your faith, even your hope and joy, have all withered and need to be brought back to life. We ache with you in that place, and we’re standing with you in prayer, trusting that the same God who raised Jesus from the dead is still at work restoring what feels impossibly broken. You don’t have to manufacture strength or muster hopeful feelings right now. Sometimes restoration begins in the smallest, simplest acts done in the middle of the ache.

One thing we’ve seen help others in similar valleys is turning on a worship song or a quiet hymn, even when the words feel far away. Not to manufacture a feeling, but to give your spirit a foothold. Music has a way of carrying truth deeper than our thoughts can reach. When you can’t find your own words, try humming along or just letting the melody sit in the room. Over time, those small, daily acts of lifting your eyes outward, even when you don’t feel it, can gently loosen hopelessness’s grip. Don’t strive for a mountaintop, just let a song or a psalm be the whisper that keeps you tethered to God’s presence today.

We’re praying now: Father, we ask you to resurrect and restore every part of this dear person, their heart, soul, life, faith, hope, and joy. Breathe your Spirit into the dead places, and let the light of Christ dawn in the darkness. Give them moments of unexpected peace today, and hold them steady until hope feels real again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sometimes the deepest thing you can do when all feels dead inside is simply to look at Jesus, not to muster a grand faith, but just to turn your eyes toward Him. Peter discovered this on the bitterest night of his life. He had denied his Master three times, and his soul was a heap of ashes. He could not undo it, could not rekindle his own love, could not stitch his own heart back together. But the Lord turned and looked upon him. That one glance did what Peter could never do for himself: it broke the spell, it melted the ice, it started the resurrection within.

You are asking for a resurrection, your heart, your soul, your faith, your hope, your joy, permanently restored. You have already said the truest thing: humanly this is impossible. But you are not dealing with a human physician. The One who looked on Peter is looking on you now, and there is more life in a single glance of His eye than in all the deaths you feel inside. He does not need you to be strong; He needs you to be honestly weak and turned His way. When your joy is so dried up that you cannot believe good news even if an angel brought it, He understands. He knows how to open the understanding and gently prove His own risen life in your heart, maybe not with trumpet blasts, but with something as ordinary as a piece of broiled fish, a quiet word from Scripture, a faint stirring of hope when you least expected it.

The Almighty who once seemed to vex Job’s soul was all the while intending double blessing and a deeper tenderness. Job lost everything outward, and then lost the comfort of feeling right with God. But through that very bitterness God was making him softer, holier, able to carry twice the weight and twice the sweetness without pride. Your emptiness today is not proof that God has cast you aside. It is often the hidden soil where He plants resurrection. He has promised, “They shall be as though I had not cast them aside.” That means a restoration so complete that the former ruin will not even be a scar in eternity. And this restoration does not wait for you to feel it first; it comes to those who pray, even with a whisper, “Lord, save me.”

Shall I tell you a homely picture? A child walking through a dark wood clings to her father’s hand. She cannot see the path, cannot imagine the warm fire waiting at home, but she feels the grasp, and that is enough. Your Father’s hand is holding you now, even when every spiritual sense seems numb. Faith is not the shout of triumph; faith is that silent grip when everything else has failed. You say, “with God all things are possible.” That is not a mere proverb, it is the hinge of heaven. The same God who made a world out of nothing can make a living faith out of a dead hope, and a singing heart out of a silent soul. He is not wearied by your long weariness. The life of His hand is not a meager ration; it is the fullness of Christ given to those who have nothing left.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, look upon this dear one now. Let that same restoring glance that found Peter find this soul in its hiding place. Breathe upon the dust of what was once a garden and make it bloom again, permanently, and for Your glory. Give back the joy that is Your own gift; restore the faith that leans wholly on You; and cause hope to spring up like a well in the desert, for You are the God with whom nothing is impossible. Amen.
