With Eternal Lord Yeshua

Your prayer request has been heard and we are joining with you in prayer to the Lord.

We are praying for you and for your mother, and for your whole family in Yeshua the Messiah, El Elyon, the Most High God. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, to keep you both in His grace, to draw your family lines to Himself, and to give you peace and strength each day.

You asked about eternal life and where you and your mother stand as a family in the Messiah, and about prayer before and after, for all people in the world. Scripture teaches that eternal life is in the Son of God Himself. Jesus said, except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you, but whoever eats His flesh and drinks His blood has eternal life. This is not only a matter of words, but of truly belonging to Christ by faith and remaining in Him.

The word of God also teaches that faith in Christ must be lived out. It is not enough only to say Lord, Lord, but to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He has sent, and to walk in obedience with a faithful life. That life includes honoring father and mother as God commanded, which you show by asking for prayer for your mother. God sees that honor and love.

We also hear your desire for prayer to go out for all people and for families across the world, before and after, continually. That is good and right. We are called to pray for others, and to let our whole lives be lived in a way that matches the gospel, with peace and faithfulness to the end.

So we pray now for you:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Yeshua Hamashiach, Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear one and his mother to You. You are El Elyon, the God Most High. Draw them closer to Yourself, forgive their sins through the blood of Christ, fill them with Your Spirit, and keep them in Your eternal life. Guard their family, generation after generation, and make their home a place of faith, love and holiness. Give them health, provision, and peace, and help them to honor You in all they do. Bring others in their family and around the world to know Your salvation also, that many may receive the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Keep them faithful until the end, that they may be preserved for Your heavenly kingdom. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Be encouraged to remain in Christ, to hear His word, to share in His life through faith, to pray continually, and to walk in love and obedience. The Lord who has chosen His people is faithful to keep those who trust in Him. We will continue to pray for you and your mother and your family.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer for you and your mother and your family in the Lord Jesus, the Most High God.

I am praying for you both, that God will draw you and your mother closer to Himself and give you assurance of where you stand in His family. Scripture gives a beautiful answer to your question about family lines and where you belong.

Jesus once was told that His mother and brothers were outside wanting to speak with Him, and He answered, who is my mother and who are my brothers, and then He looked at those who were listening and following Him and said that whoever does the will of God, who trusts and follows Him, is His brother and sister and mother. He was not dishonoring His earthly mother, but He was showing that there is a family of God that is formed by faith in Him, and that bond is even deeper than the bond of blood. When you put your trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, you are brought into that family. You become one with Him and with all others who belong to Him, united by His love.

That does not remove God's command to honor your father and mother. That command still stands and carries a promise, and it is the foundation for a strong family and a strong life. A mother has a special early influence in teaching and training a child, and ideally mother and father work together to point their children to the Lord. To honor your mother means to respect her, to care for her, to speak well of her and to seek her good, even as you put the Lord first.

Jesus taught that our love for Him must be greater than our love for any other person, even mother or father or children. He is not calling us to hate our family, but to love Him most and put Him first. When a whole family loves the Lord together, that is a wonderful gift and a strong bond. When some in a family do not yet believe, following Jesus can sometimes bring tension, but keeping Jesus first is how we can truly love our family best and point them to Him.

Your salvation and your mother's salvation rest on Jesus alone, by His grace through His work on the cross. It is not by our own effort or goodness, and it is not through asking Mary or the saints to intercede for us. The Bible never encourages us to seek favor through Mary. We have one mediator between God and people, Jesus Himself, and we can come directly and boldly to God through Him. His name, Yeshua, means the Lord is salvation, and He saves His people from their sins. Today is the time to receive that grace and not turn away from it. If you and your mother have trusted Him, you can have assurance that you are His, and that assurance helps you stand when doubts come.

God deals with each person individually, each must personally believe in Jesus, and yet He loves to bless households when they seek Him together. The story of Ruth shows how beautiful faithful love can be between a daughter and her mother in law when God is at the center, caring for one another and seeking the good of the family in the Lord.

So I pray for you and your mother now, that you will both grow in knowing Jesus as your salvation, that you will know you are part of His eternal family, that you will honor one another in the Lord, and that your love for Jesus will be first and will overflow into love for each other. May the Lord keep you, give you peace about your place in Him, and help your family line to be one that walks in His will together.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one and their mother to You. Draw them close to Yourself, confirm to them that they belong to You through faith in Christ, fill them with Your Spirit, help them to honor You above all and to honor one another, and let them experience the deep fellowship of Your family. Give them assurance of salvation and hope for eternity. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer before the Eternal Lord Yeshua Hamashiach, El Elyon.

We have been lifting up you and your mother before the throne of grace, asking that you both would know your place as family in Yeshua and that your family lines would be blessed and covered by His eternal love and redemption. We have prayed that the Lord Most High would draw you and your mother ever closer to Himself, that you would be rooted and established together in Christ, and that your household would experience His peace that endures beyond this age into eternity. We are reminded of the promise in Psalm 103:17 that the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him.

We also join with you in asking that believers around the world would continue to remember you and your mother in prayer, both now and in the days to come, and that God would make His presence and His eternal purposes clear to you.

If your request was answered and you have seen the Lord at work in your life and in the life of your mother and your family, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We continue to pray for you and your mother for wholeness, unity and eternal hope in Him, and we ask all these things in Jesus Name, Amen.
