Beloved of All
📖 God Grant The Us Your Church to Fully Believe and Understand Your Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45: Infallibility and Benefits of Scripture: Gives Wisdom that Leads to Eternal Life, 2 Tim 3:15, Inspired by God, 2 Tim 3:16, Encourages Trust, Authority of "God Who Cannot Lie," Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:18, "Thus by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be strongly encouraged," Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill? 1 Samuel 15:29, "Moreover, the Glory of Israel does not lie or change His mind, for He is not a man, that He should change His mind.” The Scriptures Encourage Unity, as Jesus in The High Priestly Prayer Prays We Would All Be One, John 17:1-26, Unity in Christ, "Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment," 1 Cor 1:10, Perseverance, Filling Us with ALL JOY and PEACE in BELIEVING, that We Abound in Hope, Rom 15:4-13...

🙇🏻 Father, Thank You for the command that You gave Your people to not bear false witness, even promising punishment to those who do so, Prov 19:5. We thank You for not only inspiring ALL The Scriptures, 2 Tim 3:16, but for guarding and preserving them through the ages by committing them to painstaking writing keeping them from the corruption of man and deceitfulness of the serpent for infallible accuracy -- As new archeological findings CONTINUE to reinforce that SURELY God Almighty is able to keep Your Word pure, as it is written, Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law," and Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Luke 21:33, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."

Thank You that Jesus not only referred to Scripture as authoritative, unable to be broken, but "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45. "For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. LET FAITH COME FROM HEARING THE WORD, Rom 10:17, in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in thanking our Father for the perfect, infallible gift of His Word and we agree together for a deeper belief and understanding of the Scriptures in His church.

We rejoice that from infancy the sacred writings are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15, and that every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16. We thank Him that it is impossible for God to lie, Titus 1:2, Heb 6:18, for God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good? Num 23:19. Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent, 1 Sam 15:29. Therefore we can fully trust every promise He has spoken.

We praise Him for preserving His Word pure through the ages, for the words of Yahweh are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times, Psalm 12:6, and the grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever, Isa 40:8. Jesus Himself declared that it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a pen to fall out of the law, Luke 16:17, and heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away, Matt 24:35. This is the word of the Lord which remains forever and this is the word of Good News which was preached to us, 1 Pet 1:25.

We thank the Lord that Jesus opened the minds of His disciples to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45, where He said everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, and then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:44-45. We have the more sure word of prophecy; and we do well that we heed it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the morning star arises in our hearts, knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation. For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit, 2 Pet 1:19-21. And we remember that our beloved brother Paul also wrote to us according to the wisdom given to him, as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction, 2 Pet 3:15-16.

We are encouraged that whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope, Rom 15:4. We pray together that the God of perseverance and of encouragement will grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord we may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 15:5-6. This unity is the very heart of Jesus in His high priestly prayer that they may all be one, John 17:21, and we heed the appeal that we all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among us, but that we be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment, 1 Cor 1:10.

We pray now together, Father, we thank You for Your holy, infallible, God-breathed Word. Thank You for guarding it from corruption and keeping it pure for every generation. Forgive us where we have neglected it or doubted it. Open our minds as You did for the disciples, that we might understand the Scriptures. Give us diligence to present ourselves approved to You, workers who do not need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15. Cause faith to come by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17. Help us not only to hear but to believe and to be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves, James 1:22. Fill us, the God of hope, with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit, Rom 15:13. Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and light to our path, and let it bring us to the wisdom that leads to eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, in whose precious and holy name we pray, amen.

We were really moved by your thanksgiving for God's Word. Your joy and confidence in Scripture comes through so clearly, and it encouraged us.

It is a gift to have a God who wants to be known and who has spoken so faithfully. That you notice His preservation of the Word through generations and His desire to give wisdom, hope and unity through it is a beautiful testimony. We join you in thanking Him for that steadiness when so much else shifts.

We also appreciate how you are praying not just for yourself but for your whole church to believe, understand and live it out. That kind of prayer for unity and shared hope is exactly what builds up a congregation. Keep sharing that gratitude aloud with others there, it is contagious and helps everyone stay rooted together.

Father, we thank You with our brother and sister for Your Word and for keeping it true and trustworthy. We ask You to keep opening hearts in their church to receive it with understanding and to walk it out in daily life. Fill them with Your joy and peace as they trust You, and knit them together in unity for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

We lift our hearts with you in thanksgiving to the God who cannot lie, whose mouth has spoken and whose word stands forever. How good it is to feel that we have Scripture at our back, for heaven and earth shall pass away but His words shall never pass away. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever, flawless like silver refined in a furnace, purified sevenfold, and not a single stroke of a pen shall drop from the Law till all be fulfilled.

We join you in blessing the Lord for His gracious gift of the Holy Scriptures, given by inspiration of God and profitable for all our needs, able to make us wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. We cannot be wrong in imitating our Divine Lord in our reverence for that Scripture which cannot be broken. There is an infinite majesty about every line of it, but especially about that part where the Lord reveals Himself and His glorious plan of saving grace in the person of His dear Son Jesus Christ. As it is written, everything that was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Our prayer with you is that the Lord Himself would open our minds to understand the Scriptures, as He opened the minds of His disciples, that we may believe with the heart and not with the mind alone. Faith is more than the acceptance of a sound creed, it is a trusting of the whole soul with Jesus. We are saved, we are reconciled to God through Jesus Christ by mere believing, by the simple act of trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We love those we trust and we trust those we love, and if we love and trust Jesus we are saved. May the God of hope fill His church with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, and be diligent to present ourselves approved to God as workers who do not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

We ask also with you for that unity for which our great High Priest prayed, that we all may be one, that there be no divisions among us but that we be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let faith come by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, and let us not be hearers only, deceiving ourselves, but doers of the word. Therefore let us trust and not be afraid, believing God in the teeth of circumstances, for His promise must stand. The mouth of the Lord has spoken it, and it is enough. Glory be to His name, through Christ Jesus, Amen.
