Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer for the Scriptures is good and right, and I join you in it with thanksgiving. God has indeed given us a sure and infallible Word. As you have said, all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable, it makes us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, and it was written for our instruction that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. The God who cannot lie, who does not change His mind like a man, has spoken, and His Word stands forever. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will never pass away. They are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, and they cannot be broken.

I pray with you that God would open the minds of His people to understand the Scriptures, as the Lord did for His disciples when He showed them how all that was written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms was fulfilled in Him. Without that work of grace our reading remains dim, but when He opens our understanding we see Christ and we believe.

Therefore let us receive this gift with diligence. Take up beforehand the portion of Scripture you wish to understand, read it carefully and prayerfully, and let your reading prepare the way for your understanding. Continue in what you have learned and have become assured of, even when you see things in the world that seem contrary to it. Do not be troubled by the prosperity of the wicked or the confusion of the times, for the Scripture taught us from the beginning to expect these things and to hold fast.

And let us not be hearers only, but doers of the Word. The fishermen when they heard His call did not delay or make excuses or first go to confer with their families, but they forsook all and followed. Matthew rose from the tax booth at once and followed. Such is the obedience Christ seeks, to hear and to do without delay. So we also are called to be diligent workers who do not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of truth, believing what God has said and obeying it in little things and in great, at home and abroad and in the church.

May the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant to His church to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, that with one accord and one voice we may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. May He fulfill the unity for which our Lord prayed, that we all agree and that there be no divisions among us, but that we be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. And may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, holding fast the rejoicing of our hope firm to the end. For faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ.

I pray that the Lord will cause His Word to dwell richly among you, that it will be a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns, and that you will be strengthened to trust it, to love it, and to keep it. In the name of Jesus, amen.
