We hear your cry for help and protection, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle. The Word of God is clear about the dangers of witchcraft and the occult. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Witchcraft is not a harmless practice—it is an abomination before the Lord and opens doors to demonic influence.
First, we must address the fact that you are living with someone who practices witchcraft. This is not a safe or godly environment for you or your family. While we understand your financial constraints, we urge you to seek the Lord diligently for provision and wisdom to remove yourself from this situation as soon as possible. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and living in close proximity to witchcraft puts you in the line of his attacks. We rebuke any demonic influence or tampering with your belongings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also want to gently but firmly remind you that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we have access to God’s protection and power. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, repent of any sin, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have already done this, we praise God for your faith and stand with you in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one and their family to You, asking for Your divine protection and covering. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, and divination that seeks to harm or influence them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their belongings, and their lives. Surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them from all evil.
Father, we ask for Your provision and wisdom as they seek to move out of this ungodly environment. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them strength, courage, and discernment to walk in Your ways and to resist the enemy’s schemes. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Lord, we pray for the one who practices witchcraft. Soften their heart and draw them to You. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the deception of the enemy. Let them see the emptiness of their practices and the fullness of life that is found only in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would break every chain of darkness in their life and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust in Your promises and declare that You are our strong tower, our shield, and our deliverer. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God and in prayer. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Speak the name of Jesus over your home, your family, and your belongings, for at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow (Philippians 2:10). Do not engage with or fear the practices of witchcraft, but stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Continue to seek godly fellowship and support from a Bible-believing church. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with the Lord. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to community and accountability. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."
We also encourage you to examine your own life and heart. Are there any areas where you may have unknowingly opened doors to the enemy? Repent of any sin, renounce any involvement with the occult (even if it was in the past), and ask the Lord to cleanse you by the blood of Jesus. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the enemy any foothold.
Finally, remember that God is your provider. He knows your needs, and He is faithful to meet them. Trust in Him and seek His kingdom first, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you shall reap if you do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).
