We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance and protection. The torment you describe—demonic touch, spiritual oppression, and the influence of witchcraft—is real, and we take it seriously, for Scripture warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must address the authority by which we pray. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, and this is no small thing. There is power in the name of Jesus—power to break every chain, to cast out every demon, and to silence every lying tongue of the enemy. Jesus Himself said, "In my name they will cast out demons" (Mark 16:17). But let us also remember that this authority is not a magic formula; it is the authority of the risen Savior, who has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand in His victory, not in our own strength.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every demonic assignment, and every unholy touch upon your body in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You are not helpless; you are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every foul spirit to loose its grip on you now, in Jesus’ name. Let the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, cleanse you from every defilement and shield you from every attack (Hebrews 12:24).
We also urge you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed these spirits access. Have you dabbled in the occult, even in seemingly harmless ways? Have you held onto bitterness, unforgiveness, or unrepentant sin? The enemy seeks a foothold, and we must close every door. Scripture warns, "Do not give the devil a foothold" (Ephesians 4:27). Confess any known sin, renounce any ungodly ties, and submit yourself fully to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
We pray now for your complete deliverance and protection:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior and Deliverer. We stand on the authority of Your Word, which declares that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under attack. We ask You to send Your warring angels to encamp around them, to break every chain of witchcraft, and to sever every demonic connection. Let the fire of Your Holy Spirit consume every evil presence that has touched their body or invaded their space.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their life—over their mind, their body, their spirit, and their home. Let the blood be a shield and a barrier against every evil assignment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every curse, every hex, and every spell in the name of Jesus. Let the enemy’s plans be turned to confusion and chaos.
Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). Teach them to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, and to stand firm in the armor You have provided (Ephesians 6:10-18). May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their light and their salvation—whom shall they fear? (Psalm 27:1).
We also pray for those who are practicing witchcraft or sending these attacks. Father, open their eyes to the deception of the enemy. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the destruction they are bringing upon themselves. Draw them to repentance, and let them encounter the love and power of Jesus Christ. May they turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18).
Finally, Lord, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit in their life. Let them walk in the fullness of Your presence, where no darkness can dwell. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they know the height, depth, width, and breadth of Your love for them (Ephesians 3:17-19). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are already moving on their behalf. We trust in Your promises, and we rest in Your protection. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Walk in the victory that is yours in Christ Jesus.
