Beloved
Eph 1:15 "For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all," Eph 3:15-23.

🧎🏽‍♂️"We bow our knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, asking He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power and might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts' through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the width and length and depth and height — to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen," Eph 3:14-20."

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your hunger to know God more deeply and to walk in the fullness of His calling. The passages you’ve shared from Ephesians are some of the most profound in Scripture, revealing the riches of our inheritance in Christ and the boundless love that God has lavished upon us. We join you in praying these very truths over your life, that you may not only understand them intellectually but experience them in the depths of your spirit.

Father, we lift up this dear brother or sister to You, asking that You would indeed grant them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of their heart, Lord, so they may see the hope to which You have called them, the glorious inheritance that is theirs as Your beloved child. May they grasp the surpassing greatness of Your power at work within them, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in heavenly places. Let this truth transform their perspective, their struggles, and their daily walk, for You have made them more than conquerors through Christ Jesus.

We also pray that Christ would dwell in their heart through faith, that they would be rooted and grounded in love. Father, we ask that You would strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner man, so they may comprehend, with all the saints, the width, length, depth, and height of Your love. This love surpasses knowledge, yet we pray they would know it in a way that fills them with all the fullness of God. What an incredible promise! You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. To You be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations!

As we meditate on these truths, we are reminded that this journey of knowing God is not one of passive observation but of active pursuit. The Apostle Paul did not pray these prayers for the Ephesians idly; he labored in intercession because he understood the battle for spiritual revelation. The enemy seeks to blind minds and hearts to the truth of who God is and who we are in Christ. We rebuke every lie, every distraction, and every scheme of the devil that would seek to dim the light of God’s truth in your life. Stand firm in the armor of God, dear one, for the battle is already won in Christ.

We encourage you to press into God’s Word daily, allowing it to renew your mind and shape your understanding of His character and promises. Spend time in worship, for it is in the place of intimacy with God that revelation often comes. Surround yourself with fellow believers who will spur you on in your faith and hold you accountable to walk in the light. And remember, the Holy Spirit is your Helper, He will guide you into all truth as you yield to Him.

Let us also take a moment to reflect on the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. This is the first and most critical step in knowing God and experiencing the fullness of His love and power.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this beloved one. We declare that their heart is fertile soil for Your Word, and that the seeds of truth You have planted will bear much fruit. May they walk in the confidence of their identity in Christ, knowing that they are chosen, holy, and dearly loved. Strengthen them with Your might, fill them with Your love, and lead them into deeper revelation of who You are. May they live a life that glorifies You, drawing others into the knowledge of Your goodness and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Your prayer reaches for the very heart of what it means to know God, and we’re grateful to share it with you. So often we assume that wisdom or revelation will arrive in a sudden, dramatic moment, but for most of us God unfolds those gifts quietly, over time, as we learn to rest in the truth we already possess. You are not an outsider begging for something distant. In Christ, every spiritual blessing is already yours (Ephesians 1:3), the Spirit already dwells in you, and the Father’s love has already been lavished upon you. The prayer you’ve prayed is less about acquiring what’s missing and more about having the eyes of your heart opened to what is real.

A simple, steady way to lean into that is to take a few quiet minutes each day this week to read slowly through Ephesians 1:3, 14. Let each phrase land, chosen, adopted, redeemed, sealed. As you do, ask the Holy Spirit to make those truths personal, not just theological. He loves to answer that kind of request.

Lord Jesus, we bow our knees with this dear believer before the Father from whom all family in heaven and earth is named. Strengthen them through Your Spirit in their inner being, and let them know, not just in mind but deep in the soul, the width and length and height and depth of Your love. Root them and ground them in that love until they are filled with all the fullness of God. We thank You that You are able to do far more than we can ask or imagine, and we rest in Your power at work within them. Amen.

The very desire for such a prayer proves the Spirit of God is already moving upon your heart. You are not asking for the trinkets of a worldly mind, but for the deep things of God. This is itself a mark of His calling. Remember, Christ is made unto us wisdom; the knowledge you seek is not a cold, intellectual ascent to a set of propositions, but a warm, living apprehension of a Person. The light of the knowledge of the glory of God is only ever seen in the face of Jesus Christ. Fix your gaze there, upon Him who is the power of God and the wisdom of God, and the eyes of your understanding will be flooded with light.

You plead for strength in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith. Know then that this is the very heart-knowledge of which the prophet spoke, a knowledge that is always attended by affection. To know God is to love Him; these two are joined in sacred wedlock. Do not, then, let your questionings of Divine love grieve your Lord. The Spirit does not direct you into a bare doctrine, but into the love of God itself, that you might be rooted and grounded in it, comprehending its immeasurable dimensions. And what is this love? It is that eternal flame that burned on the altar of His heart before the world was, and which was openly displayed when He gave His only Son to be made a curse for us upon the tree. There is no love like that which bleeds from Calvary.

When you ask to be filled with all the fullness of God, you are asking for that which already has a channel prepared for you. It pleased the Father that in Christ should all fullness dwell, and of His fullness have we all received. There is a fullness of grace to pardon, to sanctify, to preserve, and to perfect. This is not a far-off treasure to be hoped for in some distant day, but a present reality. The fullness is in Jesus now. Come, then, with your empty vessel and cast yourself upon His fullness. There is not a grace you need but is treasured up in Him. You have only to ask, and He will give you that which is already yours in Him, for the Father has vested the property of all grace in His people, and Christ is the Trustee.

Let this be your struggle and your triumph: to win Christ and be found in Him. The throne of God and of the Lamb is one throne, and you may approach it with holy boldness. Once you have truly beheld the splendor of the love of God in Christ Jesus, you will need no other light, for His glory will be as seven suns to you. The gospel that first worked this change in your soul cannot be a lie; it is the true sayings of God. Therefore, press on to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, for He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for the very things for which the blessed Apostle prayed, and this is good. The desire to know God, to grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His glory, and the immeasurable greatness of His power, all this is a gift already stirring within you, a spark from the Father of glory. But understand clearly where this wisdom and revelation are found. They are not discovered through the cleverness of human speech or the arguments of philosophy, for it is written that the world by its wisdom did not know God. No, the wisdom that saves is Christ crucified, a stumbling block to some and foolishness to others, yet it is the power of God. The Spirit does indeed give light, but the way to this light is not through human cleverness. The Apostle himself came not with excellency of speech, but determined to know nothing among you save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. So if you truly seek a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, fix your eyes there, on the cross.

The eyes of your heart are enlightened when you grasp the power that raised Christ from the dead. That same exceeding greatness of power now works toward us who believe. Consider how He turned those who were long estranged back to Himself. This is not a weak persuasion but a demonstration of Spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God. Do you wish to know the hope of His calling? Then understand that you were once in darkness, and now you are light, not by your own strength, but by His sovereign grace. The riches of the glory of His inheritance among the saints will only be clear when you see everything in the light of the cross, where the foolishness of God is wiser than men.

And what of the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge? You cannot map its width and length and depth and height by mere reasoning. Yet you can truly know it, not by study alone, but by experience. When Christ dwells in your heart through faith, when you are rooted and grounded in love, then you begin to comprehend it. Ask the Father to strengthen you with power through His Spirit in the inner man. This is not a feeling of pride but a humble, persistent rooting in divine love. As that love takes hold, you will be filled with all the fullness of God, which is the growth into every virtue. The God of patience and consolation grants this as you are like-minded with others according to Christ Jesus, for true love walks in humility and agreement.

Do not neglect the path of virtue. Many desire lofty revelations but shrink from the daily carrying of the cross. Yet it is through suffering wrong and not returning evil for evil that we follow after the true freedom and triumph. Flee from the wisdom that inflates pride; instead, boast only in the testimony of a clear conscience, that you have behaved in the world not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God. He is faithful, and His promises never lie. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church. Continue in prayer, but also press on in a life worthy of the calling, and you will see with the eyes of your heart what mere words can never fully convey.
