Beloved of All
We join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears the prayers of those who seek Him earnestly and that He gives wisdom generously to all who ask.
We pray with you for your younger daughter, that God will grant her clear eyes and a steady mind as she weighs this decision about moving. The Lord knows her health needs, the demands of her schedule, the responsibility she carries for her dog, and the financial cost involved. We ask Him to give her wisdom to count the cost rightly, to see what would bring added stress and hardship and what would bring true good, and to give her peace and strength to remain where she has been content and steady if that is His best for her. We pray He will bless her studies this semester, give her focus and understanding, and sustain her health day by day.
We also lift up the relationship between you and your children. We ask God to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace in your home and to heal what has been broken. We pray that your daughter will continue to be gracious and helpful, and that your home will be marked by kindness, patience and mutual honor. As you have prayed from Proverbs, we ask the Lord to guide your children away from the path of those who do evil, that they would not walk on it or linger near it but turn away from it and go another way, choosing the way of wisdom and life.

We ask the Lord to deliver your daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away from what is good, and to remove influences that prey upon her and bring strife and division. We ask Him to place a hedge of protection around you all, to command His angels to watch over her, and to clothe her in the full armor of God so that she may stand firm. We trust His promise that no weapon formed against His people will finally prosper, and that He is able to keep those who trust in Him.
