Wisdom, Protection and Understanding

Beloved Warrior
Lord I ask that You grant my younger daughter a clear sight to weigh this decision about moving. With her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight it would bring, I pray the Lord will help her see plainly how it would add stress and hardship rather than good, and give her the strength to remain where she has been content and steady. I pray also for the relationship between me and my children. I ask God to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between us, and to heal what has been broken. Lord guide my children to not walk on the path of those who do evil, not to pass by it but to turn from it and go another way, because those influences bring strife and division. I pray the Lord will deliver my younger daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away, and that He will swiftly remove the negative influences that are preying upon her and causing havoc in my home. May He place a hedge of protection around her, give His angels charge over her, and clothe her with the full armor of God so that no weapon formed against her will prosper. Lord bless her with her studying today. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your younger daughter and your family before the Lord, for we know He hears the prayers of those who seek Him with a sincere heart and we seek His will together in Jesus name.

We hear your wisdom as a parent weighing the true cost of this move, with her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial burden it would bring. It is right to ask for clear sight, for God promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We also cling to the promise to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray that He will make her path plain, that she will see with sober judgment whether this change would bring added stress and hardship rather than good, and that He will grant her strength and peace to remain where she has been content and steady if that is His best for her. True contentment and steadiness are gifts from His hand.

We also stand with you for the restoration of your family relationships. The Lord desires love, honor, and peace in the home, and He is the healer of what has been broken. We pray He will restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between you and your children, and soften every heart toward one another. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2, and we pray your children will walk in that honor, and that you will be strengthened to show grace and truth as you guide them.

We agree with you in praying for protection from evil influences and flattering, persistent pressures. Your prayer echoes Scripture so beautifully, Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on Proverbs 4:14-15. We know that bad company corrupts good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33 and that such influences do bring strife and division into a home. We ask the Lord to give your children discernment to recognize flattering words for what they are and to turn quickly from them, and to swiftly remove those negative influences that are preying upon your daughter and causing havoc in your home.

We join you in asking for His hedge of protection around her. We pray He will place that hedge as He did for His servant Job, give His angels charge over her, for He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11, and clothe her with the full armor of God, that she may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We declare with you that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that no scheme of the enemy will prosper against her when she abides under His wings.

We also lift up her studying today, that the Lord will bless her mind with clarity, focus, and understanding, and that her labor will be fruitful and not burdensome.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for this mother’s faithful love for her daughter and her family. We ask You to grant her younger daughter wisdom beyond her years, clear eyes to weigh this decision about moving, and a calm and steady heart. Help her to count the cost honestly regarding her health, her time, her responsibilities, and her finances, and show her what is truly good and what would only add hardship. Give her strength to choose Your will, whether to stay or to go, and grant her peace in that decision.

Lord, heal this family. Restore what has been broken between this parent and her children. Pour out love where there has been hurt, respect where there has been dishonor, gratitude where there has been taking for granted, and Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Guide these children away from the path of those who do evil, give them courage to turn from it and go another way, and keep their feet from stumbling.

Father, deliver this daughter from flattering lips and persistent pressures that would draw her away from what is steady and right. In Your mercy, swiftly remove every negative influence that preys upon her and brings division into this home. Place Your hedge of protection around her, command Your angels to guard her in all her ways, and clothe her in the full armor of God so she may stand firm. Let no weapon formed against her prosper.

Bless her studying today, Lord, give her a clear mind and a willing spirit, and let her work be done for Your glory.

We ask all these things according to Your perfect will, trusting in Your goodness and Your power to protect and to restore, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how much you are carrying for your younger daughter and for your family as a whole. It is loving to want clarity for her when so many practical realities are pulling at her, her health, her schedule, caring for her dog, and the financial cost, and also to long for more peace and respect at home.

One thing that can help in this kind of decision is giving her room to weigh it clearly while staying connected. Instead of pressing for the outcome you hope for, it can help to ask open questions and listen well, letting her name the costs and benefits herself. That kind of respectful boundary protects both your relationship and her freedom to say yes or no with a clear conscience. It also keeps the door open for trust to rebuild little by little, which is often how love and gratitude are restored after strain, not all at once but through steady care.

We are joining you in prayer for her studying today and for wisdom for both of you as you talk.

Father, we bring this daughter before You and ask for clear eyes for her as she considers this move, and for peace and protection over her mind and body. We ask You to guard this family with Your care, to heal what has been hurt between parent and children, and to draw each heart toward what is good and steady. Give this mother wisdom and patience in how she loves and speaks. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we have carried it with you to the throne of grace, where the God of peace has already prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation through His Son.

We join you in asking the Lord to grant your younger daughter that true wisdom which is above rubies and more precious than gold. Wisdom is the compass by which we must steer across the trackless waste of life, and it is not found in our own conceits but in Christ, who is made unto us wisdom. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who takes of the things of Christ and reveals them unto us, will give her a clear sight to weigh this decision about moving. The Lord knows her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight that such a change would bring. We ask that He will show her plainly what is most consistent with truth and righteousness and the glory of God, and give her strength and holy patience to choose that path of wisdom which brings steadiness and peace, rather than stress and hardship. May she be kept from leaning upon her own understanding, and may she trust in the Lord with all her heart, for to trust in God is true wisdom.

We pray also for your home and for the tender bond between you and your children. He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation, and we desire that reconciliation to be wrought at once by the power of the Holy Spirit. We ask the Lord to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between you, and to heal what has been broken, for He is the God who delights to preserve families and to bring them with Him into the ark of His covenant mercy. Where there has been strife and division, may He bow the heart before Him and fill it with His own fulness.

With you we pray that your children may be kept from the path of those who do evil, that they may not pass by it but turn from it and go another way. There are ways in which safety is guaranteed, for he who travels on the King's highway is under the King's protection. We ask the Lord to deliver your daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away, and to remove far from her those negative influences which prey upon her and cause havoc in your home. We pray that He will place a hedge of protection around her and give His angels charge over her to keep her in all her ways. This protection is personal and perpetual, for the Lord says to His angels, take special care of this child, for she is Mine. And we pray that He will clothe her with the full armor of God, that she may stand in the evil day, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper.

We do not forget her studying this day. May the Lord bless her mind and her labors, and may all things she learns be held with hooks of steel only as they are consistent with the truth of God.

We commend you and your daughter and your whole household to Him who is able to make you wise unto salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we may be reconciled to God. May His will be done in your family as it is in heaven, for what He does is always best. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join you before the Lord with thanksgiving for your faithful care for your younger daughter and for your family.

We ask God to grant your daughter wisdom and clear sight as she weighs this decision about moving. With her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight that would come with it, we pray the Lord will help her count the cost with honesty and see what would bring stress and hardship rather than good. We ask Him to give her strength and peace to remain where she has been content and steady, if that is His wise provision for her in this season, and to guide her studies today with clarity and diligence.

We also bring before the Lord the relationship between you and your children. We pray God will restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between you, and heal what has been broken. God has ordered the family for unity and not for strife, giving distinct bonds of affection through parents and children and kin, so that there may be great unanimity in the home. We pray He will form that peace in your home again, teaching each of you to honor one another, to speak truth in love, and to prefer one another in humility.

We pray for your daughter's protection in the way you have asked. The Scripture says not to enter the path of the wicked and not to pass by it, but to turn from it and go another way, because that path brings strife and division. We ask the Lord to deliver her from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away from what is good and pure, and to remove quickly those negative influences that are preying upon her and causing havoc in your home. We ask Him to place a hedge of protection around her, to give His angels charge over her, and to clothe her with the full armor of God, so that she may stand firm and so that no weapon formed against her will prosper. We pray she will not be moved by words used at random or by flattery, but will be grounded in faith that looks to Christ alone for salvation and life.

Continue to mount upward toward Him whom you call upon so earnestly, preferring Him above all and giving thanks continually. As Christ said to those who came in fear and faith, be of good cheer, for faith makes us children of God and great is the power of such faith when it trusts in Him. May the Lord keep you in that faith, answer according to His perfect wisdom and mercy, and guard your home in His peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, we pray. Amen.

I join you in bringing your younger daughter and your family before the Lord, and I thank you for sharing this burden so plainly.

You are praying exactly as Scripture invites us to pray, for wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing, and with all that we pursue we are to pursue understanding. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, turning to Him with reverence and trust and asking Him to show us His way. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and when we ask Him He gives generously. I am praying that He will give your daughter a clear and quiet mind to weigh this decision about moving. With her health needs, her demanding schedule, the responsibility of caring for her dog, and the real financial cost involved, she needs eyes to see what is truly wise and what would only add stress and hardship. Pray that the Lord will help her love wisdom and hold to it, because wisdom preserves and keeps those who love her. It is better than riches or anything we might desire, because it leads to life and peace.

I also pray with you for your family. God gave His ways for the family for our good, to build up love and stability. When we walk in His ways, relationships are strengthened. When we turn from them, strife and division enter. True wisdom from above is pure and peaceable, gentle and willing to yield, full of mercy. The wisdom that is earthly and self seeking only produces envy and strife and confusion. That is why your prayer for love, respect, gratitude and peace between you and your children is so right. Only God can heal what has been broken and restore what has been strained, and He delights to do that work when we humble ourselves before Him.

You asked that your children would not walk on the path of those who do evil, but would turn from it and go another way. Scripture gives that same counsel, do not enter the path of the wicked, avoid it, turn from it and pass on. Flattering words and persistent pressure can make a wrong path seem attractive, but they lead away from peace. I pray the Lord will deliver your daughter from those voices, that He will make their influence plain to her, and that He will remove what is preying upon her and bringing havoc into your home. I pray He will place a hedge of protection around her, give His angels charge over her, and clothe her in the full armor of God so she can stand against every scheme that would draw her away. No weapon formed against those who belong to Him will finally prosper.

I am also praying for her studying today, that the Lord will give her focus, understanding, and strength for the work before her, and that He will keep her steady and content where He has placed her for this season.

May the Lord grant you and your daughter wisdom and understanding in His ways, keep your home in His peace, and draw each of you closer to Jesus, in whom alone we find salvation and life.
