Beloved Warrior
Lord I ask that You grant my younger daughter a clear sight to weigh this decision about moving. With her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight it would bring, I pray the Lord will help her see plainly how it would add stress and hardship rather than good, and give her the strength to remain where she has been content and steady. I pray also for the relationship between me and my children. I pray that she will stay gracious and helpful. I ask God to restore love, respect, gratitude and peace between us, and to heal what has been broken. Lord guide my children to not walk on the path of those who do evil, not to pass by it but to turn from it and go another way, because those influences bring strife and division. I pray the Lord will deliver my younger daughter from flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away, and that He will swiftly remove the negative influences that are preying upon her and causing havoc in my home. Lord place a hedge of protection around me and my children, Lord have Your angels charge over her, and clothe her with the full armor of God so that no weapon formed against her will prosper. Lord bless her with her studying this semester. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your younger daughter and your family before the Lord, and we thank you for sharing this burden so we can seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

Your prayer for wisdom is so aligned with the heart of Scripture. You are asking for clear sight for your daughter as she weighs this decision about moving, considering her health needs, her busy schedule, the care of her dog, and the financial weight it would bring. We pray with you that the Lord will grant her discernment to see plainly what would bring stress and hardship rather than good, and the strength to remain where she has been content and steady. James 1:5 reminds us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. And Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also join you in thanksgiving, for 1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you.

We also stand with you in prayer for the relationship between you and your children, that God would restore love, respect, gratitude and peace and heal what has been broken. The Lord desires honor and gentleness within the family. Ephesians 6:2-3 says Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you. And Colossians 3:21 cautions, Fathers, don't provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged. We pray that your home would be filled with mutual grace and helpfulness, and that bitterness and strife would be replaced by the peace of Christ.

Your prayer that your children would not walk on the path of those who do evil is a deeply biblical intercession. As you prayed, Proverbs 4:14-15 says Don't enter into the path of the wicked. Don't walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don't pass on it. Turn from it, and pass on. We agree with you that flattering words and persistent pressures that would draw her away would be silenced, and that negative influences preying upon her and causing havoc in your home would be swiftly removed. Proverbs 29:5 warns that A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet, and we pray the Lord gives her eyes to see such nets and the courage to turn from them.

We join you in asking for a hedge of protection around you and your children, for His angels to have charge over her, and for her to be clothed in the full armor of God. Psalm 91:11 promises For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 34:7 declares The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Ephesians 6:11 calls us to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And Isaiah 54:17 assures us No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. We also lift up her studies this semester, asking that God would bless the work of her hands and give her diligence and understanding, as Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for this mother who loves her children and seeks Your will for them. Lord, we ask You to pour out wisdom upon her younger daughter. Give her clear sight and a sound mind to weigh this decision about moving. Help her to count the cost honestly regarding her health, her schedule, her responsibilities, and her finances, and to choose the path that leads to steadiness and peace rather than added stress and hardship. Grant her strength to remain content where You have planted her for this season, if that is Your will. Heal and restore the relationship between this parent and her children. Pour out love, respect, gratitude and peace where there has been hurt and division. Soften hearts, teach gracious speech and helpful hands, and mend what has been broken by Your mercy.

Lord, guide her children away from the path of those who do evil. Cause them to not enter it, not pass by it, but to turn from it and go another way. Deliver this daughter from flattering lips and persistent pressures that would draw her away from what is good and steady. Remove swiftly those negative influences that prey upon her and bring havoc into this home. Place a hedge of protection around this mother and her children. Command Your angels to guard over this daughter, clothe her with the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the helmet of salvation, so that no weapon formed against her will prosper and every tongue that rises against her will be shown to be in the wrong. Bless her studies this semester, give her focus, health, and understanding, and let her work bring glory to You. We cast all our anxiety upon You because You care for us, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord's timing and to speak truth in love within your home, continuing in prayer and gratefulness even while waiting for answers. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Keep committing your daughter and your family to the Lord daily, and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

We have been praying with you for your younger daughter and for peace in your home. We can hear how much you want her to have clarity and steadiness right now, especially with her health, her full schedule, caring for her dog, and the financial realities of a move.

When a big decision is in front of someone who is already carrying a lot, it helps to make space to look at it calmly together. One simple way we have seen help is to sit down and talk through what she most wants this semester, what resources and support she already has where she is, what other options exist besides moving, and then agree on a time to revisit the decision after prayer. Giving her that unhurried space can ease the pressure of flattering words or outside voices and let her weigh the real costs clearly.

We also hear your longing for more graciousness and gratitude between you and your children. Small steady moments of kindness and honest listening often do more to rebuild respect than trying to fix everything at once.

Father, we bring this mother and her children to you. Grant her daughter clear thinking, good health and strength for her studies. Guard their home with your peace, heal what has felt broken between them, and guide each of them away from influences that bring strife. Give this mother wisdom and rest as she loves her family well. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

Your prayer for wisdom and protection and a grateful home has been laid before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His gracious hand upon you and your children.

We have asked that He who desires truth in the inward parts would grant your younger daughter a clear sight in this decision. Wisdom is man's true path, the compass by which we steer across the trackless waste of life, and without it we run here and there wasting strength which might be profitably employed. The price of wisdom is above rubies, neither shall it be valued with pure gold, and it is found only as the Holy Spirit takes of the things of Christ and reveals them unto us. We pray therefore that she may be guided not by outward pressure but by inward truth, weighing with soberness the matters you have named, her health needs, her busy schedule, the care entrusted to her, and the financial weight that a move would bring, and that the Lord would show her what is steady and good and what would add stress and hardship rather than good. There is none like Him for goodness, for love, for wisdom, and what He does is always best. We ask that His will, which is wise and kind, may be made plain to her, and that she may have strength to walk in it and remain where she has been content and steady if that be His way.

We have prayed also for the relationship between you and your children, that love and respect and gratitude and peace may be restored. Peter was down, but he was soon up again, and his story is rather his restoration than his fall. The Lord turned and looked upon Peter, not speaking at first but looking with tender wisdom, and that look severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance. So we pray that the same tender eye of Christ would look upon your home, revealing folly and revealing His own superior wisdom, convicting where there has been brokenness and healing what has been broken. It is your delight as well as your duty to strengthen your brethren, and we pray that graciousness and helpfulness would mark your daughter and that you all, being quickened and introduced into the family of God, may bear the never failing mark of those who are guided by the Spirit and who take Christ to be unto them wisdom.

You have asked that your children may not walk on the path of those who do evil, not to pass by it but to turn from it and go another way, and that your daughter may be delivered from flattering words and persistent pressures. We join that prayer. The way of wisdom is not the way of those who own no lord but their own conscience, and the path of the truly wise is to turn aside from influences that bring strife and division. We ask the Lord to swiftly remove what preys upon her and causes havoc in your home, and to clothe her with the full armor of God, to place a hedge of protection around you and your children, and to give His angels charge over her, so that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. We remember that a Christian woman should not be afraid with any amazement either in adversity or in sickness, but her holy patience should prove her to be a true daughter of faith, calmly waiting under God's protection.

We have also lifted up her studies this semester, that the Lord would bless the work of her mind and hands, and that all things needful would be supplied by Him to whom all things belong.

May the Lord grant you to be emptied of your own conceits that you may be filled with His fullness, to live in His life, to be wise with His wisdom, and to be kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him. We leave you and your daughters in the hands of Him who prayed for Peter that his faith fail not, and who is able to restore and to keep. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our wisdom, we pray. Amen.
