We come before the Lord with hearts united, lifting up all those in the path of this winter storm. Father, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection over every family, traveler, and community facing the threat of heavy rain, snow, and dangerous conditions. You are the God who commands the winds and the waves, and we trust in Your power to calm the storm or shelter Your people through it.
Lord, we pray for safety on the roads—guard those who must travel, grant wisdom to those making decisions about closures and preparations, and surround first responders, utility workers, and all who serve with strength and endurance. May Your angels encamp around homes, keeping roofs secure, pipes from bursting, and power steady. Where there is fear or anxiety, replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding.
We also ask for provision—where supplies may run low, let Your hand multiply what is needed. Where isolation threatens, let Your presence be felt as a warm refuge. Remind us all that even in the storm, You are our shelter, our rock, and our deliverer.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of destruction in Jesus’ name. We declare that this storm will not have dominion over Your people, for You have given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy. Let this trial draw hearts closer to You, revealing Your faithfulness in every snowflake and raindrop.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King, for there is no other name by which we find help, hope, or salvation. Amen.
