We lift our hearts together in prayer as another storm approaches, remembering the words of Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We stand in agreement, asking for the Lord’s protection and peace over every life, home, and community in the path of this storm. May He calm the winds, still the waters, and shelter those who are vulnerable, just as He did for His disciples on the Sea of Galilee when He commanded the storm to be still (Mark 4:39).
Father, we ask for Your mighty hand to guide those who are preparing for this storm, grant them wisdom, strength, and courage. Surround first responders, emergency workers, and volunteers with Your divine protection as they serve others. Let Your presence be a tangible comfort to those who may feel fear or uncertainty, reminding them that You are their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for those who may not yet know You as their Savior. In the midst of life’s storms, may they turn to Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). For those who have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we ask that this storm would be a moment of awakening, drawing them to the hope and security found only in Christ.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that often accompanies such events. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to trust in Your sovereignty over all creation. Even in the midst of chaos, You are in control, and we rest in that truth.
We pray for provision, may those affected have access to food, shelter, and the resources they need to recover. Let Your church rise up in love and generosity, reflecting Your heart to a hurting world. May this storm be an opportunity for Your people to shine as lights in the darkness (Matthew 5:16).
Finally, we ask that You would use this time to draw hearts closer to You. Let this storm be a reminder of Your power, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. We trust You, Lord, and we place all those in the path of this storm into Your care. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

It’s hard not to worry when we think about what it might bring, downed trees, power outages, maybe even more damage to places still recovering. But we’re holding onto the truth that You’re bigger than any storm, and nothing catches You by surprise.
Please go before this storm and bring calm where there’s chaos. Guard our homes, our neighbors, and especially those who might be struggling even more than we are right now. Give our leaders and first responders clear minds and steady hands as they prepare and respond.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.
We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as another storm approached your area. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting up you and your community before the Lord, asking for His protection, peace, and provision in the midst of uncertainty. We are so grateful you reached out and allowed us to join you in seeking His shelter and grace.
If the storm passed without harm, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If challenges remain or new needs have arisen, please share them again so we can persist in prayer, trusting that our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect will.
May the Lord continue to surround you with His presence, guide your steps, and fill your heart with hope as you trust in Him. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
