Father, thank You for graciously leading me to good churches throughout my walk -- wife moved, needs church likes contemporary music as does son.Asking for the same kindness You have shown me in leading them to a healthy fellowship, and divine encounter through preaching, friends, evangelists, angels, dreams, visions (kindly use every and any means the You will to reach her is my prayer). May they find a good gospel team of husband pastor and wife for team ministry like Pricilla and Aquila, Acts 18:26. Vibrant and caring and sharing -- close proximity to them, men and women not deceived by compromise or doctrine, Matt 24:4-5, but kind, able to teach, helping others come to repentance, escaping the snare of the devil, 2 Tim 2:24-26... I have learned to "Trust in The LORD (Yahweh) with all my heart, and lean not on my own understanding. To acknowledge HIM in ALL my ways, so He directs my paths in straight ways," Prov 3:5-6. We are separated by distance, and the situation requires prayer, or else I would not have requested it, for, "When man works man gets man's results, but when man prays, man gets God's results," ~ Anonymous. Jesus, I remember how You said, "apart from Me you can do nothing, John 15:5, and "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done" Matt 6:10. We believe You inspired this fact, "But in fact, God has arranged the members of the body, every one of them, according to His design," 1 Cor 12:18. So let them be lead by Your Holy Spirit, Rom 8:28, to where You can shepherd them best, Ps 23:1, John 10:11. Keep them from false believers, imposters and evil people, 2 Tim 3:5, Titus 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, give angels charge over them, Ps 91:10-16, even leading them when needed, as when they lead Lot out of Sodom, Gen 19:16, and Peter out of jail, Acts 12:6-11, Heb 1:14, (both were answers to prayer, btw, Abraham's intercession in Genesis 18:16-33, and Acts 12:5, Acts 12:12-17. Surely the effective fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much more than we can ask r imagine, James 5:16-17, Eph 3:20. Keep them from sin, Ps 119:3, 1 Cor 8:1, wrong doing, lies, fear Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, temptation, evil and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:3, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7, Jesus, The Amen and Faithful Witness, Originator of The New Creation, Rev 3:14, in Jesus all God's Promises are Yes, so we say the Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We hear your heartfelt plea for your wife and son, and we join you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. Your trust in the Lord’s guidance is evident, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God will lead them to a fellowship that honors Him in worship, teaching, and discipleship.

Father, we thank You for the faithfulness You have shown in leading this family thus far. We ask that You would now direct Your daughter to a church where Your Word is proclaimed with clarity and power, where the Holy Spirit moves freely in worship, and where she and her son can grow in the fear of the Lord. May they find a body of believers who are uncompromising in truth yet overflowing with love, as Priscilla and Aquila demonstrated in their ministry. Raise up godly leaders, husbands and wives who serve together in unity, teaching sound doctrine and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.

Lord, we pray against any deception or false teaching that would seek to draw them away from Your truth. Guard their hearts from compromise, and let them be surrounded by those who walk in integrity and humility. May they be discipled in the ways of righteousness, learning to obey Your Word and to walk in the fullness of the Great Commission. We ask that You would stir in them a hunger for prayer, fellowship, and evangelism, that they may not only grow in their own faith but also be used to draw others to Christ.

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, distraction, or fear that would hinder their path. Send Your angels to encamp around them, guiding them as You did for Lot and Peter, that they may find the place You have prepared for them. May they experience divine encounters, through preaching, fellowship, dreams, or visions, that confirm Your leading in their lives. Let them walk in the assurance that You are directing their steps, just as You have promised in Proverbs 3:5-6.

Father, we also pray for this family’s unity in Christ. Though separated by distance, bind them together in prayer and purpose. Strengthen their faith to trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. May they find comfort in the promise that where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in their midst.

We declare over them the truth of Your Word: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, and that You will complete the work You have begun in them. May they walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, and may their lives reflect the glory of Christ in all they do.

In the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you’ve shared this request with us. It’s clear you carry a deep, tender care for your wife and son, and your trust in God’s leading is evident. We join you in asking Him to plant them in a fellowship where they’ll be known, fed by sound teaching, and drawn into worship that stirs their hearts.

When we read your description of what you’re hoping for, strong biblical instruction, vibrant worship, and a community of believers who genuinely care for one another, it reminded us of the early church in Acts 2, where they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. That’s not a distant ideal; God still builds those kinds of congregations today. We’ll pray He leads your wife and son to such a place, close by and alive with His presence.

A practical step that sometimes helps: encourage them to visit a few churches with an open heart, perhaps even reaching out ahead of time to ask about small groups, prayer meetings, or worship style. Sometimes a brief conversation with a pastor or a member can reveal a lot about whether a church is centered on the Word and warm in spirit. And as they step out, we trust the Holy Spirit will make the path plain, just as you’ve asked.

May they find a fellowship where they grow in the fear of the Lord and are equipped for every good work, not through polished programs alone, but through the steady, loving influence of people who walk with Jesus.

Lord, You know exactly where this wife and son are. Lead them to a church that honors Your Word, lifts up Jesus in worship, and surrounds them with friends who will disciple and encourage them. Give them discernment, and grant them a sweet sense of belonging. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

You have done well to bring this before the throne of grace, coupling your request with the promises of God. It is a sweet sign when a soul interlards its prayer with Holy Scripture, for it shows a heart that has learned to lean not on its own understanding. And you have sought the Lord for His own kindness to be extended to your wife and son, let this request be made with confidence, for He has said, “Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee.”

Lay hold of that word, and banish every slavish fear. You ask that they be led to a place of true worship; then remember that the Church of the living God is the pillar and ground of the truth. Wherever that truth is lifted up, where Christ crucified is preached, where the Word is taught in power and purity, and where prayer ascends with fervency, there God Himself is pleased to dwell. Seek not first the outward form, the music, or the style; for even when the form is prescribed of God, yet without the heart, it is no worship at all. What is the use of a pleasant melody if the soul has never talked with God, if thanksgiving is not offered from a grateful heart? True worship is spiritual, and if the Lord be near a church, it must pray. Where you find a people who worship in spirit and in truth, who love the Lamb and hold fast the faith once delivered to the saints, there you may hope that God will shepherd your dear ones.

Fear not that they will be deceived by false shepherds or led into compromise. He who arranged every member of the body according to His own design will guide their steps. “I am with you; be not dismayed; I am your God: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you.” It is disobedience to be afraid when such a promise is given. Trust the Lord to lead them away from the snare of the devil, and to bring them under the care of a Priscilla and Aquila, a pastor and his wife who are kind, able to teach, and not given to the spirit of this age. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and He can send dreams, visions, providences, or the simple witness of a friend to accomplish His purpose.

And what of your own soul while you wait? Let this trial become a means of wrestling in prayer all the more earnestly, for when the church prays, God draws near. When man works, he gets man’s results; but when man prays, God works wonders. You have leaned upon the Lord with all your heart; now stand still and see the salvation of God. He who led you to green pastures will not forsake your wife and son. Only be not dismayed; the Lamb upon the throne is the end of all fear, and in Him every promise is yea and amen.
