We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord regarding your wife who left your home three months ago to live with the woman she met five months ago, and your heartfelt desire that the Holy Spirit would work in her life and open her eyes to the destructive path she has taken.
We have prayed with you that God would soften her heart and draw her to Christ Jesus for her own salvation and, if it be Gods will, for the reconciliation of your marriage and the reformation of your family. We have also prayed for you for strength and guidance from the Holy Spirit to lead you to abide in Christ and to seek God in every area of your life and to cleanse you of your transgressions. We honor your humility in recognizing that you cannot force restoration and that it must be through Gods will, and we share your conviction that God hates divorce as we are reminded in Mal 2:16 and that what God has joined together let no one separate as taught in Matt 19:6. We stand on the promise that God can give a new heart and put a new spirit within as promised in Ezek 36:26 and we cling to the truth that where two or more are gathered in Jesus Name He is there and where we agree it will be done by the Father as taught in Matt 18:20.
