why can't anyone love me??

Yiamen

Humble Servant of All
Why can't it be love forever? I don't know why God hates some so much. My whole life I was unloved. Why?? Why are you so mean to me, Lord??? Why did you give me such unloving people?

We hear the deep pain in your heart, and we want you to know that your cries have not gone unnoticed. The feelings of loneliness, rejection, and unanswered questions are heavy, and we ache with you as you pour out your soul. But we must first address a misunderstanding that weighs on your spirit: God does not hate you. In fact, the Bible tells us the very opposite, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16). His love is not like human love, which can be fickle or conditional. His love is perfect, unchanging, and everlasting.

You ask why you have encountered so much pain and why those around you have not shown the love you deserve. We do not have all the answers to the "why" of human suffering, but we know this: God does not delight in your pain. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The people in your life may have failed you, but God has not. He sees every tear, hears every cry, and longs to draw near to you. "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." (Psalm 145:18).

We must also gently rebuke the lie that you are unlovable. The enemy of your soul wants you to believe that no one could ever love you, but that is not the truth of Scripture. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God’s love for you is deeper than any human rejection. Even if every person in your life has let you down, God’s love remains steadfast. "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up." (Psalm 27:10).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). He is the only way to the Father, and it is only through His name that we can approach God with confidence. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. He is waiting with open arms.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious one who feels so alone and unloved. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your arms around them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Heal the wounds of rejection and abandonment, and replace their sorrow with Your peace. Father, we ask that You would bring godly, loving people into their life, those who will reflect Your love and point them back to You. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, if they do not yet know You as Savior, we pray that they would surrender their heart to Jesus today. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the hope that only comes through Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to draw near to God through prayer and His Word. Spend time in the Psalms, where David and others poured out their hearts to God in raw honesty. You are not alone in your struggles, and God is not distant from your pain. He is with you, even now. If you are not already part of a biblical, Christ-centered church community, we strongly encourage you to seek one out. God often uses His people to demonstrate His love in tangible ways.

Lastly, if you have been seeking love in ways that do not align with God’s design, whether through relationships outside of marriage, unhealthy attachments, or compromising your values, we urge you to surrender those areas to the Lord. True love is found in Him first, and He will guide you into relationships that honor Him and bring healing, not harm. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you everything you want, but He will shape your desires to align with His perfect will.

You are deeply loved, and we pray that you would come to know the depth of that love more and more each day.

Praying for tangible undeniable vision/understanding of what Jesus' death on the cross it just for you and it's just for me. Please remember it's darkness that causes pain not the Lord. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh sweet friend, our hearts ache with you as we hear the deep loneliness and pain in your words. We can't even begin to understand all you've walked through, but we want you to know that God sees every tear, every moment you've felt unwanted, and He longs to hold you close. You're not the mistake or the afterthought you may feel like right now. The enemy has lied to you and told you no one could ever love you, but that's not true - God's love is relentless and He's been chasing after you long before you took your first breath.

We've all known rejection at some point, but with God, it's different. He doesn't just tolerate us - He delights in us (Zephaniah 3:17). When the world says "you're not enough," He whispers "you are my beloved child." When people fail you, remember His love never does. Even if everyone walked away, He never would. He's the perfect Father who never leaves or forsakes His own.

If you've never experienced this kind of love before, we want to pray right now that God would open your eyes to see Him as He truly is - not distant and punishing, but compassionate and full of mercy. Lord Jesus, come near to this precious soul today. Replace every lie with Your truth, every wound with Your healing, and every tear with Your joy. Help them to feel, really feel, that they are deeply, completely loved by You. In Your name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want you to know how deeply our hearts have been stirred by your cry for love and understanding. It has been a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer these past days, lifting your pain before our Heavenly Father who sees every tear and hears every unspoken ache of your heart. We have asked the Lord to wrap His arms around you, to reveal His unfailing love in ways that are tangible and real, and to heal the deep wounds left by those who were meant to show you love but fell so far short.

Beloved, we continue to pray that God would open your eyes to the truth that you are deeply loved—not because of what you do or who others say you are, but because of who He is. The Bible tells us that even before the foundation of the world, God set His love upon you and chose you as His own. His love is not like human love, which can be fickle and conditional. His love is steadfast, unchanging, and eternal. We pray that you would experience the depth of His love in a fresh and powerful way, that you would know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are cherished, valued, and never alone.

We also lift up the lies that have taken root in your heart—the lies that whisper you are unlovable or that God has abandoned you. Satan would love nothing more than for you to believe those falsehoods, but we stand in agreement with the truth of God’s Word: "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17). Let that truth sink deep into your spirit. You are not forgotten. You are not hated. You are the apple of His eye, and His love for you is forever.

If you have seen even the smallest glimmer of His love breaking through the darkness, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your story could be the very encouragement someone else needs to hold on to hope. And if the weight of loneliness still feels heavy, please do not hesitate to share your heart with us again. We are here to walk with you, to pray with you, and to remind you that God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you as you draw near to Him. May He surround you with people who reflect His love and grace, and may you come to know, in the very core of your being, that you are loved with an everlasting love. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Been fighting thoughts of suicide since before I was a teenager, more than fifty years. It is obvious I've had to fight on my own. It's almost like heaven and hell are in concert, but instead of striking me down, they've been smacking me around like a cat plays with a mouse before it kills it. I...
