Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word of God that instructs us, 2 Tim 3:16-17, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot hold back, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist and take up Your Armor and stand against, stand, stand firm against the schemes of the darkness, by taking up Your Armor. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil for the world, John 16:33.

Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, in Jesus' Name.

We stand together in agreement, lifting up the powerful truth of Ephesians 6:10-20, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. We take up the whole armor of God with renewed conviction, knowing that it is only through His strength and might that we can stand firm. Let us examine each piece of this divine armor, applying it first to ourselves as we are instructed, so that we may be fully equipped to assist and intercede for our brothers and sisters in Christ.

We begin by girding our waists with truth. The belt of truth holds everything together, and it is the truth of God’s Word that sets us free (John 8:32). We reject the lies of the enemy and stand firm in the truth of Scripture, which is our foundation. Lord, we pray that You would help us to walk in Your truth daily, that we may not be deceived by the schemes of the devil. Let Your Word dwell in us richly, guiding our steps and guarding our hearts.

Next, we put on the breastplate of righteousness. This piece protects our hearts, the very core of our being. We recognize that it is not our own righteousness that covers us, but the righteousness of Christ imputed to us by faith (2 Corinthians 5:21). Father, we ask that You would help us to live lives that are pleasing to You, walking in holiness and uprightness. Guard our hearts from the temptations of this world, and let Your righteousness shine through us.

We shod our feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. Our feet are to be ready to carry the message of peace to a lost and broken world. The Gospel is the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and it is our privilege and responsibility to share it (Romans 10:15). Lord, we pray that You would prepare our hearts and minds to boldly proclaim the Gospel, that others may come to know the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Above all, we take up the shield of faith, with which we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Faith is our defense against the attacks of the enemy, and it is through faith that we overcome the world (1 John 5:4). Father, we ask that You would strengthen our faith, that we may trust in You completely, even in the midst of trials and temptations. Let our faith be unwavering, anchored in the promises of Your Word.

We take the helmet of salvation, which protects our minds. Our salvation is secure in Christ, and nothing can snatch us out of His hand (John 10:28-29). Lord, we pray that You would guard our minds from doubt, fear, and the lies of the enemy. Let the hope of our salvation be a constant reminder of Your faithfulness and love.

Finally, we take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. This is our offensive weapon, the very words of God that are sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Father, we ask that You would help us to wield Your Word with precision and power, that we may speak life and truth into every situation. Let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, resisting the devil and all his schemes, knowing that he must flee from us (James 4:7).

We also lift up the entire body of Christ, praying that every believer would be clothed in the full armor of God. Father, we ask that You would strengthen Your church, that we may stand united against the forces of darkness. Grant us boldness to proclaim the Gospel, and let Your Spirit move mightily in and through us. We pray for those who are ambassadors for Christ, even in chains, that they would speak Your Word with courage and conviction.

Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We stand firm in Your promises, knowing that You who are in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). Strengthen us, equip us, and send us forth in the power of Your Spirit to advance Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We’re right there with you in this. What a gift it is when someone steps forward to lead us all in putting on the full armor of God, not just as a private exercise but as a living, breathing prayer for the whole body of Christ. We needed that reminder today.

One of the quiet comforts in the fight we share is simply knowing that others are praying, and that those prayers are specific. You’ve given us language to stand together: girded in truth, guarded by righteousness, our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. When we picture brothers and sisters across the globe taking up that same shield of faith, the isolation the enemy tries to plant loses a little more ground.

So we add our own steady “amen.” We’re not just praying about you; we’re praying with you. And we’ll keep lifting a hand to hold up that shield when the fiery darts fly, confident that you are doing the same for us.

Let’s remain watchful and persevering, not out of fear, but because we belong to the One who has already stood and overcome. The gates of hell won’t hold back His church, and we get to be part of that.

Lord Jesus, thank You for clothing us in Your strength. Clasp the belt of truth around us so tightly that we never forget who we are in You. Keep our feet sure on the path of peace, and steady our hands to wield Your Word with both boldness and gentleness. Guard every believer who rises to stand this day. Breathe fresh courage into our prayers, and let the mystery of the gospel shine clearly through our lives. We ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have prayed for the whole armor of God, and that is well, for the battle is fierce and the foe is cunning. But beware lest you rest in the prayer itself as though the words alone could shield you. The armor must be taken up, not merely besought. Faith must grasp what God provides, not a faith that skulks in the shadow of presumption, but a faith that stands in the open field, bearing the blood-red emblem of the Cross, confident that no lance of hell can pierce it. Such faith is not of nature's forging; it is the gift of the Spirit, wrought in the soul by divine operation. If you would lift this shield, see to it that it is the faith of God's elect, a shield of proof, hammered on the anvil of sovereign grace.

You plead the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name, this is the very breastplate that covers the heart. But remember, the Spirit never leads a soul to think lightly of the atoning sacrifice while exalting outward forms. The moment you begin to trust in the exactness of your prayer or the completeness of your petition as though it possessed power of itself, you veer dangerously near the superstition of those who trusted in the ark rather than the God who dwelt above the mercy seat. The outward exercise is nothing unless the Spirit breathes life through it. Pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching thereunto. The sword you must wield is the Word of God, but it is only the sword of the Spirit when the Holy Spirit thrusts it home. No sermon, no human eloquence, no volume of intercessory words can prevail unless the living God speaks through them. Let that sword be sharpened upon the whetstone of the Spirit's teaching, laid hold of by the inner man, and driven deep by the power from on high.

You have asked this armor for all believers, that is a noble entreaty. Yet let none imagine that the battle is won merely by handing a weapon to a soldier who lies asleep. The armor must be bound about the loins by personal resolve. The helmet of salvation must be fitted to the head by a constant looking unto Jesus, not by a cursory glance at the doctrine. The feet must be shod with readiness that springs from the gospel of peace, and readiness means movement, not merely the memory of a text. You pray for utterance and boldness for the saints; this is most fitting, for the war with Amalek requires both the sword of Joshua in the field and the rod of Moses lifted upon the hill. Prayer and preaching, intercession and action, must never be divorced. Yet do not fall into the blunder of thinking that the Spirit's help is restrained because the front of the battle shifts. Is He the God of the hills alone, and not the God of the valleys? In seasons of open triumph and in hours of hidden conflict, Jehovah remains the same. The rod is still His rod; the sword is still His sword. Cast not away your confidence, therefore, even when the adversary presses hardest and the shadows deepen. The recompense of reward is certain for those who hold fast.

See to it that your own soul first feeds upon these truths before you seek to arm others. The Word must be the sustenance of your inward life, or else the shield will feel cumbersome and the sword will seem an unfamiliar weight. Go to the center of things. Lay hold upon God Himself in the truth as it is in Jesus. It is one thing to speak of the armor; it is quite another to feel the divine life pulsating through every joint and piece. The Spirit quickens; the Spirit applies; the Spirit illumines. Without His indwelling, the armor rusts and the warrior stumbles. But with His mighty working, the weakest saint, clad in God's complete panoply, shall stand firm in the evil day, having done all, to stand. Quit thinking of your own weakness or peculiar disposition, these are but the vain excuses of unbelief. The Spirit of the Lord is not straitened. Go forward, then, with firm resolve, trusting the God who answers by fire to consume every fiery dart of the wicked one.

You have done well to recall the divine panoply and to arm yourselves and all the faithful by prayer. Yet mark this: the armor is not formed of hides and steel, but of truth, righteousness, faith, and the true love of wisdom. To put on the whole armor is not merely to recite the words, but to clothe your soul with the living virtues themselves. The breastplate of righteousness is not donned by a fleeting thought, but by a life of holy deeds; the belt of truth girds only the one who walks in sincerity and hates every false way. If you pray for the armor yet remain naked of good works, the prayer profits nothing.

You ask to stand against the wiles of the devil, and rightly so. The very first feature of this spiritual warfare is to know how to stand well, and that means a correct standing, not in pride but in lowliness. It is God's part to give a contrite and humbled heart, sober, self-possessed, and full of repentance. Against the powers unseen, a grievous conflict is at hand. If we are laughing and always taking things easily, even before the fight we shall be overthrown by our own remissness. Therefore, seek from God not worldly comforts, but the flame of compunction and a spirit that trembles at His word. No man who bears that spiritual fire fears the enemy; the flame is intolerable, the fire consumes all snares.

You have asked for all believers to speak boldly the mystery of the Gospel. This too requires not only faith but a life in the Holy Ghost, lest the Fire given you be extinguished. Let earnestness kindle in you a fire of love, and let your conduct be bright, that the offering of your souls may be acceptable. For it is possible, though you come later, to receive the full hire of the day, if you press on with youthful ardor. Stand, therefore, having done all, and watch unto all perseverance and supplication. The Commander is ever ready to help, abiding unconquerable; only yield to His leading and let your whole life become a living sacrifice. Then the gates of hell shall not prevail, for you are armed indeed.
