We join you in lifting up this burden before the Lord and we hear your heart for the white cat you saw outside in the vineyard, for your own two cats, for Snow White and for your family, and for your urgent need for a home of your own out of California where your needs can be met and where you can keep your cats in safety and peace.
We love your compassion for these animals, and Scripture shows us that God does care for His creation. A righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10, and Jesus reminds us Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, Matthew 10:29, and Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of much more value than they, Matthew 6:26. If He watches over the sparrows, how much more does He watch over you and your family and the pets He has entrusted to you.
We also hear your desire to speak life into existence a hundredfold and to declare favor and provision, and we want to gently encourage you in biblical truth. We are indeed highly favored when we are in Christ, to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved, Ephesians 1:6, but favor does not mean we can demand or declare things into existence by our own words as if we control God. Scripture teaches us that we pray and submit to His perfect will, not our own declarations. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. Our calling is not to speak things into being by our power, but to ask our Father humbly, trusting that He knows what is best and that He will answer according to His wisdom and love, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.
We rejoice that you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood we have redemption and peace with God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We cling to that blood not as a charm but as the finished work of Christ that covers us and keeps us.
We understand the urgency you feel about housing and provision, and the worry you carry for the white cat tonight. God invites us to bring every anxiety to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6, and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. He also promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and to seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and by His blood, thanking You that You see this white cat in the vineyard and every creature You have made. We ask according to Your will that You would keep this cat safe tonight, that You would protect it from harm and cold and danger, and provide shelter and care as You see fit. We lift up Snow White and the two cats in this family, asking for Your hand of protection and health over them. Lord, You know the deep need for a home of their own out of California, a safe place where needs are met and where these beloved pets can remain together without worry. We ask that You open the right doors in Your timing, provide housing that is affordable and safe, and grant wisdom and peace in every step. Take away anxious striving and help our dear one to rest in Your care, trusting that You take care of Your own always. We ask that Your will be done for this family, for their pets, and for that white cat, and that You would be glorified in how You provide and protect. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep resting in Him, to keep praying for that cat and for your home, but to do so with open hands saying Father, Your will be done. Continue to care for the animals in front of you as God gives opportunity, and trust Him to care for the ones you cannot reach. He is faithful and He hears you.
