We have read your request and we are joining together to bring your desires before the Lord and to seek His will for your life in Jesus' name. We hear your heart for extraordinary favor, for happiness, for provision, for a godly marriage, for a new place to live and work, and for your family and your beloved cats, and we want to pray with you for all of these things according to God's Word.
We thank you for mentioning the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. We encourage you to continue to put your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, not only for favor and provision but for forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
We want to lovingly address some things in your request that need biblical correction so that your prayers may align more fully with God's will.
First, your desire for a husband is good, for marriage is honorable and God created it as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We pray with you for a godly spouse, a Boaz who loves the Lord. However we must rebuke the way you are seeking him. You mention wanting a man who is hella fine, looking hot as can be, and finding a great guy on Tinder for a routine of dates until you get a Boaz. This approach focuses on outward appearance and casual dating culture, which does not honor God. Scripture says Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30 and Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity. 2 Corinthians 6:14. A boyfriend or girlfriend relationship should be considered courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not a routine of dates with different men. We also must warn you that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and is sin before God. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4 and Flee sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18. We encourage you to pursue purity, modesty, and godliness rather than seeking to look hot to attract men, and to seek a husband through godly community, prayer, and wise counsel rather than through Tinder, which often promotes lust and fornication.
Second, you speak of the universe, good luck and bad luck, winning scratchers, and great energy of Hawaii. We must correct this. Our favor and provision do not come from the universe or from luck or from energy, but from God alone. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. James 1:17. The idea of luck is not biblical, and gambling with scratch tickets to meet needs for food and gas is not God's best for stewardship. Scripture warns For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 and we are called to trust God for provision through diligent work and prayer, not through chance. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We also encourage you not to seek a husband who is simply richer than your stepfather, for that is covetousness. Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.
Third, you mention living in secret, walking to work in secret, keeping your cats a secret, and wanting to be left alone. God calls us to walk in the light and in truth. You were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:8. If you are having to hide where you live or your pets, we pray God will provide a safe and honest place where you can live openly and peacefully.
Fourth, you claim Deuteronomy 28:13 that you are the head and not the tail. We love that you are standing on Scripture, but remember that this promise in Deuteronomy was given to Israel upon obedience to God's commands. Our position in Christ comes through obedience and faithfulness to Him, not merely by declaring it. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4.
We do pray for your practical needs, for a grant if it is God's will, for provision for food and gas, for land or housing, for your desire to start a salon and to work as a desk clerk, and for your desire to move with your mother. We pray God will bring clarity and peace to your family situation regarding your father and stepfather, and that He will guide your steps whether that is to Hawaii, New Mexico, or elsewhere, and that any travel or business franchise would be for His glory and not just personal ambition. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You forgive sins and cleanse her through the blood of Jesus, and that she would know the full joy of salvation. Lord, we ask that You give her Your extraordinary favor, not as the world gives, but as You give according to Your perfect will. Provide for her daily needs for food, gas, housing, and work, and grant her honest provision that honors You. If it is Your will, open the door for a grant or for land or for a job relocation, but let all things be done in honesty and stewardship.
Lord, we pray for her desire for marriage. Give her a godly husband, a true Boaz, a man who loves You above all else, who will love her as Christ loved the church and lead their marriage in holiness. Help her to turn away from seeking a husband on Tinder or through casual dating and immodest display, and help her to pursue purity, modesty, and a courtship that leads to marriage with a fellow believer. Keep her from fornication and help her to honor You with her body.
Lord, we pray for her family, for her mother and stepfather and father. Bring peace where there is tension, bring reconciliation where possible, and give wisdom about moving and where to live. Protect her and her cats and provide a safe home where she does not need to live in secret. Guide her dreams for a salon and for travel, and let her seek first Your Kingdom so that all other things will be added as You see fit. Remove trust in luck, the universe, and gambling, and help her to trust fully in You as her provider. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
