Asking for prayers- I am trying to sell my wedding venue and package as we no longer want to get married at that specific place mainly due to pricing, I found an alternative venue which is much cheaper. I tried to cancel the other venue but was informed that I would need to pay 75% of the fee as per cancellation policy- my wedding is yet to take place on ### of February, I have advertised my wedding on the wedding marketplace and people have shown interest but then they don’t confirm. I’m truly stressed, and I truly need prayer request. Thank you all and may God bless

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in prayer. First, we want to acknowledge the stress and frustration you’re feeling—wedding planning can be overwhelming, and financial pressures only add to the burden. We understand your desire to make wise decisions, and we stand with you in seeking God’s guidance and provision.

Father God, we ask You to grant wisdom and clarity in this situation. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, we pray that You would open doors for the sale of this wedding package and venue. If it is Your will, bring the right buyer who will honor the commitment and relieve this financial strain. We also ask that You soften the hearts of those who have shown interest but have not yet confirmed—may they be led by Your Spirit to move forward.

We also lift up the financial aspect of this situation. The cancellation fee feels like a heavy burden, and we know that You are a God who provides. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Lord, we trust in Your provision. If it is Your will, work in the hearts of those responsible for the cancellation policy—perhaps there is room for negotiation or grace. If not, we ask that You would provide the resources needed to cover this expense without causing undue hardship.

We want to gently encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in every decision, not just the financial ones. Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and we pray that your wedding day will be a reflection of His glory and purpose. Proverbs 19:21 says, *"There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."* Surrender this process to Him, trusting that He will guide you to the right venue, the right decisions, and ultimately, a marriage that honors Him.

Lord, we also ask that You would calm the anxiety and stress in this situation. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help this season of planning to be one of joy and anticipation, not fear or frustration.

Finally, we want to rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be creeping in. The enemy would love to steal the joy of this season, but we declare that this wedding will be a testimony to God’s faithfulness. We stand on the promise of Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. May His will be done in this situation, and may His peace reign in your heart. Amen.
