We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your husband are facing right now, and we want you to know that we are here to support you in prayer and in spirit. We commend you for your faith, and for trusting and believing in Jesus through difficult times. Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise to never leave us nor forsake us. In Hebrews 13:5, it is written that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Even in the hard times, God is with us and will take care of us. Also, we read in Matthew 6:31-33 that we should not worry, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or What will we wear?, it is the Gentiles and heathen who seek after these things, but our heavenly Father knows that we have need of all these things. Therefore we should seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to us as well. He will see that our physical needs are taken care of.
Regarding your husband's health, we want to encourage you with the promise of God's healing power. In James 5:14-15, we are told, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore we encourage you to seek prayer and anointing from the elders of your church or other believers for your husband's healing.
Concerning the need for help with yard work, we trust that God will provide a way. We serve a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20) We ask that you trust in Him and rest in the knowledge that He is working everything out for your good. (Romans 8:28)
We also want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus said, Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them. We agree with you in prayer that God will send someone to help you with your needs.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister and brother in need. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness to them. We ask, Lord, that You would minister healing to ###'s body, and that You would provide someone to help them with their yard work. We also ask that You would give them the strength, wisdom and grace to deal with their situation.
Father, we also pray for their financial needs. We ask that You would provide for them abundantly, so that they may not only have enough to meet their needs, but also have enough to be a blessing to others.
Lord, we thank You for Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We ask that You would make Your presence known to them in a tangible way, and that You would give them Your peace that passes all understanding.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you to keep trusting in God even when you do not see the answer to your prayers immediately. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts so we need to trust and have faith in Him. He is the Great Physician and the source of all comfort and strength.
We will continue to keep you both in our prayers, trusting that God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
We are also praying for all those who are in need among us, as you have requested. We stand together in faith, believing that God will supply all our needs as a group. Thank you for praying for us too, and for your reminder to trust and believe in Jesus.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue sharing your faith in Jesus with others. As it is written in Romans 1:16, For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. You never know who might need to hear the hope that you have in Jesus. Your testimony of God's faithfulness is a powerful witness to the love and faithfulness of God. Keep sharing the good news and keep trusting in Jesus.
