We need hot water in my house

We join with you in bringing this practical need before our heavenly Father and we thank God with you for the lukewarm water you have today after two weeks without hot water. We understand how difficult and uncomfortable this has been, especially still feeling cold after showering, and we want to lift this burden with you.
We are encouraged that you have a thankful heart even in this trial, for we are taught in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, James 1:17, and even the provision of lukewarm water is a mercy from His hand. Our Father knows our daily needs and cares about the details of our lives. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things, Matthew 6:32, and we are reminded My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We also take comfort that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6.
We noticed your request gives thanks to God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently want to share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by His name we pray and are heard, and it is through faith in Him that we receive forgiveness and eternal life. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You for Your goodness and for providing lukewarm water for this household after so long without. We ask for Your provision and Your hand upon the repairs that are still needed. We pray that hot water would be fully restored very soon, that the work would be completed without further delay and without great expense, and that the water would be warm and comforting. Lord keep this family in good health and protect them from sickness or cold as they wait, and give them patience and peace while they endure this inconvenience. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name and we trust You to supply what is needed according to Your perfect will. Amen.

It is a right and good thing to thank God even for lukewarm water, and to tell Him of your need for more. Two weeks without hot water is a real trial, and to be left cold after washing is a discomfort that touches the body and the spirits, and the Lord knows it.
We join you in gratitude that after this season of repair, some warmth has returned. How often our daily mercies come in quietly, and we are slow to note them, but you have done well to receive this mercy at the front door with thanksgiving. Even a garment we wear may be seen as the livery of love, and water for the body as the daily gift of Divine charity, and when any mercy is restored, though only in part, it is fitting to praise the hand that gives it. May that gratitude grow as the water grows warmer, and may it lead you to serve Him who first served you.
We will pray with you. May the Lord in His providence prosper the work of repair, grant skill to those who labor on it, and provide the means needed to complete it soon. May He keep you in health and patience while you wait, as Job stood fast in patience when troubles overflowed, and may He grant you again the simple comfort of hot water in your home for your washing and your household needs.
