Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We thank God with you that the owners have agreed on the repair costs and that work has begun. It is good to hear that prayer has been answered in this way, and we continue to pray that what has been promised for tomorrow will truly be completed and that you will have hot water again without further delay.
We understand how difficult it is to live without hot water, especially when you are also dealing with a mild flu and when cold water makes even a simple shower impossible. These small daily hardships test our patience, and yet Scripture teaches us that patience is shown not in two or three days but over time, and that to love God is to endure without being troubled, waiting with hope for His help. Patience and hope strengthen each other, and both are nourished when we stay close to the Scriptures and to prayer.
So we pray for you now. We ask the Lord Jesus Christ to bring complete healing from the flu, to grant you strength and rest, and to keep you well. We ask Him to guide the hands of the workers, that the repairs would be done properly and quickly, and that the heating issue you mentioned for October 15 would also be resolved so you will not be left without heat. If a move does become necessary, we ask God to provide a safe and suitable home according to His wisdom and provision.
May God comfort you in this waiting, give you endurance as Christ endured, and fill you with confidence in things to come. We will keep praying that tomorrow brings the hot water you need and that you will know His peace and care in every detail.
