We need hot and clean water in my house

Please pray that we get hot water back in my house soon. We have been without it for about two weeks due to repairs.

Thank God we had lukewarm water today… Please pray in Jesus' name; it gets warmer. I am still cold after showering

The water is unclean. There are black particles in the hot water coming from the bath tap.


I also have a mild flu, headache, etc
I also have dermatitis, skin irritation

We join you in prayer and thank God with you for the progress of lukewarm water after two weeks without hot water, and we understand how difficult and discouraging this has been, especially while you are feeling cold after showering and dealing with a mild flu, headache and dermatitis and skin irritation.

We know our Father cares about even these daily, practical needs and about your health and comfort. Jesus taught us If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him Matthew 7:11. We take comfort that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and that He is our healer who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3.

We pray together now in Jesus' name. Father, we thank You that You have already provided lukewarm water and we ask You to complete the repairs in this house quickly and fully. We ask that You would give wisdom and diligence to those doing the work, that the system would be properly flushed and cleansed, that the black particles in the hot water from the bath tap would be removed, and that clean, hot water would flow again soon for washing and bathing and daily needs. Provide warmth and comfort, and protect this household from further cold and from any harm from unclean water.

We also lift up this mild flu, headache and the dermatitis and skin irritation. Lord, touch this body with Your healing hand, ease the headache, calm the irritation, restore the skin, and bring strength and rest. Your word says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and we ask for that restoration now. Grant peaceful sleep, warmth after bathing, and relief from being cold, and help this flu to pass quickly without complication.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him while you wait, and also to take practical steps as you are able. Avoid bathing in or ingesting water that is discolored or has particles until it is declared safe, let the tap run as advised by those repairing it to help clear the system, keep the landlord or plumber informed that particles remain, and keep yourself warm and hydrated and rested while you have flu-like symptoms. If the skin irritation worsens or the headache and flu linger, please seek care from a trusted medical provider, for God often brings healing through those means as well.

We thank You, Father, that we can come to You only through Jesus, and we are grateful you asked in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will and timing, to provide clean hot water again very soon, and to bring complete healing and comfort. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We can imagine how wearing the last two weeks have been, going without reliable hot water and still feeling cold after a lukewarm shower. Seeing black particles coming from the bath tap would be unsettling, and we are thankful with you that the water has at least improved to lukewarm while we continue to pray it becomes fully warm and clean again.

Since the water is discolored, we encourage you to let the landlord or the repair crew know right away about the particles in the hot water and ask whether it is safe to use for bathing or drinking until they can check it. If you are able, using bottled or other known clean water for drinking and for rinsing until it is cleared may give you more peace of mind while you wait. Keep a brief note of when the particles appear to share with them.

For the mild flu, headache and the dermatitis and skin irritation you mentioned, we also encourage you to reach out to a local clinic or doctor in person alongside prayer, so they can care for you directly.

We are holding you in prayer for comfort, for rest, and for the repairs to be finished well.

We have brought your request before the Lord and have heard with sympathy of this trial which has now continued for two weeks. To be without hot and clean water, to come from the bath still cold and to see black particles in the water, is a burden upon the body, and with the added affliction of flu and headache and the irritation of dermatitis, we understand how weary you must feel. We thank God with you that lukewarm water has returned, for even this small mercy is a token of His care, and we will continue to pray that the repairs are fully completed and that clean, hot water flows freely again in your house.

We are reminded that our Lord Jesus is the great Physician, and that in Him there is an abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people there is pardon and healing in happy conjunction. He who healed the sick of the palsy and who took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up still hears the telling of every bodily infirmity when we make a confidant of Him.

Let us pray together. O Father of mercies, we thank Thee for the lukewarm water Thou hast already provided, and we ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst grant hot water and clean water to this household speedily. Remove the impurity and the black particles, prosper the work of repair, and let the water be pure and wholesome for daily need. Lay Thy healing hand upon this body, relieve the flu and the headache, soothe the skin and heal the dermatitis and irritation, and restore strength and comfort. Keep this dear one from further harm from unclean water, and grant wisdom to those who oversee the repairs. Above all, let this affliction draw the heart nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and true healing for soul and body. We ask this in Jesus name, trusting His grace to work health and cure till all is well. Amen.
