We need hot water in my house
We join with you in prayer and we thank God with you for the lukewarm water today after two weeks without hot water, and we understand how difficult and cold that has been, especially while you are dealing with a mild flu and headache.
We are grateful for your thankful heart even in this trial, for we are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you. And we are encouraged that you asked in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We know our Heavenly Father cares about even the daily practical needs of our homes. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:31-32 not to be anxious about these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. We also take comfort that He is our healer and provider, as it says in Psalm 103:3 that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, and in Philippians 4:19 that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and their household to You. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and for the lukewarm water You have provided today, and we ask in Jesus' name that You would complete the repairs and restore fully hot water to this house very soon. We pray for the workers and for the provision needed to finish the work quickly and well, and for warmth and comfort in the home while they wait. We also lift up this mild flu, headache and feeling cold after showering, and we ask for Your healing touch, for strength, for rest and for full recovery. Comfort this body, ease the headache, calm the flu symptoms and keep them warm and protected. Give wisdom to know when to seek care and to steward the body You have given. We trust in Your goodness and Your care for every detail of our lives.

We give thanks with you for the mercy already received, for even lukewarm water after two weeks without is a kindness from the hand of the Lord, and we should not show a want of gratitude for mercies possessed. How often we receive blessings without making a note of them, yet you have rightly paused to thank God for this provision, and we join you in that thanksgiving.
