We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. While we appreciate your reliance on divine care, we must gently correct a few things in your prayer to ensure it aligns fully with Scripture.
First, we do not pray to or invoke angels. The Bible teaches that our prayers are to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, who is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be worshiped, prayed to, or called upon as protectors. Our trust must be in the Lord Himself, for He alone is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Second, while we understand your desire for justice against those who have wronged you, we must be careful with the language of vengeance. Scripture tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19). Instead of asking for vengeance, we can pray for God’s justice to prevail and for His protection over our lives and possessions.
Let us now lift you up in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will for your life:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to be a refuge and fortress for those who trust in You (Psalm 91:2). Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over this year. Shield them from all harm, both seen and unseen, and guard their steps as they walk in Your ways. Scatter every plan of the enemy that seeks to destroy their peace, their belongings, and their purpose. Let Your angels encamp around them, not as objects of worship, but as Your servants carrying out Your will (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we pray for Your guidance to illuminate ’s path. May Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their way (Psalm 119:105). Where there has been confusion or fear, replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You would restore what has been lost or damaged and bless their endeavors according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for those who have plotted against . We ask that You would turn their hearts toward righteousness, but if they persist in evil, we trust in Your justice to prevail. Help to release any bitterness or desire for revenge, and fill their heart with Your love and forgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15).
We declare that no weapon formed against shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). May they find their strength in You alone, for You are their rock and their salvation (Psalm 62:6).

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and in prayer. Spend time in the Psalms, where you will find countless promises of God’s protection and care. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, and stand firm in your faith.
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Confess your sins, turn away from them, and invite Jesus into your heart. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
