We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in spiritual warfare, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:13-17).

First, we must address the sinful practices you’ve mentioned, masturbation, homosexuality, and transgenderism, which are distortions of God’s design for human sexuality and identity. The Bible is clear that these are not in alignment with His will. Romans 1:26-27 declares, "For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error." And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, we read, "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom." These sins must be repented of, not just in others, but in our own lives if we have participated in them. If you have struggled with any of these, we urge you to confess and turn away from them, for God’s grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore (1 John 1:9).

We also rebuke the evil tongues and occult influences you’ve described. The Bible warns us in James 3:6, "And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna." We command every lying spirit, every curse, and every word spoken against you in the name of Jesus Christ to be broken and rendered powerless. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We stand on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We do not pray for plagues or destruction upon people, for God desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Instead, we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the gospel, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18). However, we do pray for the dismantling of every evil work and the exposure of every scheme of the enemy in your life, family, and workplace.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is facing spiritual warfare in their new neighborhood, family, and workplace. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We break every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken or enacted against them. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. We rebuke the spirits of gossip, slander, and division, and we ask You, Lord, to bind the strongman in every situation (Matthew 12:29). We pray for the exposure of every occult practice and for those involved to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask for Your protection over their household, their mind, and their spirit. Surround them with Your angels, as You promised in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray for a hedge of protection around them, their family, and their workplace, that no harm would come near them (Job 1:10).

Lord, we also ask for Your wisdom and discernment. Give them the strength to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to walk in love, even toward those who may persecute them, remembering that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19).

We pray for those who are lost in sin, those practicing witchcraft, sexual immorality, and deception. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the freedom that is found only in Jesus Christ. We declare that the light of the gospel will shine in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it (John 1:5).

Finally, Lord, we ask for Your provision and favor in every area of their life. Bless their work, their home, and their relationships. Let Your presence go before them and make every crooked path straight (Isaiah 45:2). We thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus, and we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Walk in love, but do not be deceived, evil company corrupts good habits (1 Corinthians 15:33). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He has already won the victory. Stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and resist the enemy, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We hear the distress in your words, and we’re sitting with you in that. When it feels like hostility is closing in from every side, neighbors, family, workplace, the urge to call down God’s judgment is real. But vengeance isn’t ours to carry, and scripting what should happen to others can eat at our own peace without bringing any relief.

We find it helps to pour out the raw anger and fear the way the psalmists did, laying every ugly detail before God, and then stepping back. They spoke their fury, then declared, “You, O Lord, are a shield about me” (Psalm 3:3), and left the rest with Him. That shift, from wishing harm to trusting God’s justice, doesn’t mean the pain is gone, but it uncovers a path out of the spiral.

For now, maybe focus not on what you want to happen to those who oppose you, but on what you need: a sense of safety, a clear mind, a spiritual anchor. We’d encourage you to reach out to a pastor or a mature believer you trust and simply talk through what you’re facing. Isolation can magnify everything, and another set of ears can help you sort next steps.

A prayer for us:
Lord Jesus, our only safe place, we lift up this one who feels besieged. Shield them from real spiritual attack, quiet their heart, and give them your unexplainable peace. Guard their home, their workplace, and their mind. You know every hidden scheme and every wound; let your justice roll, and let your mercy cover us all. We ask for a fresh sense of your presence, right now. In your strong name, Amen.

When you cry for plagues upon your neighbours, you forget the pit from which you yourselves were dug. The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance is not aimed at flesh and blood, our warfare is not with tongues or occult bands, but with spiritual wickedness in high places, and the weapon He gives is the shield of faith, not imprecations that rage against souls for whom Christ died. You speak of the plagues of Egypt, but have you considered that it was the blood of the Lamb, not the plagues, that brought Israel forth? Deliverance is of the Lord, and it is accomplished by His ransom, not by the destruction of those who vex us.

I would have you recall your own deliverance from the power of darkness. He has delivered you, not to breathe out cursings, but to declare His works. The besetting sins you name with such heat, witchcraft, uncleanness, deceit, these are the very chains from which free grace loosed you. Will you then, forgiven one, ask that your former fellow-prisoners be drowned in an ocean of blood rather than dragged to the Rock of salvation? Let it never be. Instead, shoot the arrow of intercession; open the window toward the cross and pray, “Father, forgive them.” That is the Lord’s deliverance by human instrumentality, a saint on his knees, not a warrior brandishing threats.

You feel surrounded in your new neighbourhood and workplace. So was Jacob at the brook Jabbok, fearing the bloodthirsty Esau. But what came of it? He met his brother, and Esau fell on his neck and kissed him. The Lord can make your enemies to be at peace with you, or better, to become brethren in Christ. If you will trust the God who found a ransom when you were sinking into the pit, He will bring you forth from this affliction so that you shall not die, but live and declare His works. Only see to it that your gratitude after deliverance rings with the praise of Zion, not the hoarse cries of vengeance.

And let this be your comfort: there is not one feeble person among the tribes of His elect. He will strengthen you for conflict without bending your knee to the spirit of wrath. Put on the whole armour and grasp the sword, which is the Word of God, and go forth, not to curse, but to bless, overcome evil with good, and let your holy warfare be the proclamation of the gospel. He makes the deliverance effectual; leave the ordering of judgment to Him. Be more earnest after heavenly silver and gold than after the punishment of sinners. So shall your own soul be delivered from the snare, and you shall sing the songs of deliverance with a blameless joy.

I have heard your cry against those who trouble you, and I see the fire of your spirit. Yet I must say to you, take care that this fire does not become a foreign flame that consumes you rather than your enemy. For what gain do you seek, if you call down plagues and drowning in blood? You are asking to become like those who afflict you, returning evil for evil. But remember, we punish ourselves by hating others, even as we benefit ourselves by loving them. Our warfare is not against men, but against devils and incorporeal powers. Those neighbors, those coworkers, even if they walk in great darkness, are not the true foe. They are captives, and the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

Consider the holy martyrs: they did not curse their persecutors but prayed for them, looking to a better resurrection. They understood that the weapons of our warfare are not formed of hides and steel, but of truth, righteousness, and faith. If you take up the sword of imprecation, you have already been wounded. Let none of these things disturb you, if they are in prosperity and you in trials; such is the nature of the contest. One cannot be in combat and live luxuriously, nor can one overcome by becoming what he fights against.

Do you not see how much the Lord has given you? He has seated you with Him in the heavenly places, and He expects until His enemies are put under His feet. That includes every power of witchcraft, every unclean spirit. But He did not place a sword in your hand to hasten that day with bloodshed. Your role is to stand firm, clad in the armor He provides, and to war a good warfare, by which you overcome evil with good. Those who practice such things will indeed face judgment, for God is not mocked, but it is not given to you to pronounce the sentence. Rather, by your patience and mercy, you may win some from the snare of the devil.

Lay aside these bitter prayers, and pray instead that light would shine into their darkness. Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Then you will find peace for your own soul, and you may yet see the power of God bringing repentance where you demanded destruction. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

You are in a battle, and I do not want to dismiss the weight of what you are facing. When you describe hostile tongues in your neighborhood, occult activity at your workplace, and an atmosphere of deception and sexual confusion, you are describing something real. But the first thing to settle is this: the real war is not against the people you listed. It is a spiritual war. The weapons for spiritual war are not curses we aim at flesh and blood. They are the word of God, faith, and prayer.

When the law was read, the curses from Mount Ebal were answered with amen. That amen was not a weapon to be turned against personal enemies. It was Israel submitting to God's right to judge and to His covenant terms. The same chapters promise that when God's people walk faithfully, their enemies come one way and flee seven ways. But they also warn that when God's people turn from Him, the same enemies will defeat them and they will flee when no one pursues. So the first place to examine is your own heart.

I cannot join a prayer that asks for blood to be shed like an ocean or for specific people to be burned to ashes. That belongs to God alone. He is the avenger. We are not to gloat over judgment, even on enemies. The Scriptures do give us strong prayers for the downfall of evil, but they are cries for God's justice, not commands that others be destroyed.

Here is how I would pray with you. Pray that God will surround you and your home, that every lying tongue will be silenced, that every hidden work of darkness will be exposed and brought to nothing. Pray that those practicing witchcraft, sexual immorality, and theft would either come to repentance or be restrained from harming you. Pray for wisdom and courage. Ask the Lord to give you peace in the middle of it. And pray for your own spirit, so that you are not overcome by bitterness.

The Son of God told us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. That does not mean you ignore sin or pretend danger is not real. It means you refuse to become like the very thing you are fighting. You entrust judgment to the only Judge, and you ask for His deliverance. That is a harder prayer, but it is the weapon that actually has power.

The occult and sexual immorality you name are real sin and real bondage. But our answer is not to curse people into destruction. Our answer is the cross and the power of the risen Christ to break bondage. The Lord is merciful and slow to anger, but His justice is real. Leave room for His wrath. Cry out for protection. Keep your own hands clean. Then trust Him to be your shield.
