Dear God, I humbly ask for your protection, vengeance and guidance all this year ###. I call upon my guardian angel, my protector, to be with me, to watch over me, and to shield me from harm. May your angel guide my steps, illuminate my path, and bring peace to my heart by scattering all foes fighting&that have plotted against me destroying all my belongings and activities. I trust in your divine care and the power of your angels ###. Amen.(Psalms91:11-12, Matthew26:53, Hebrews12:22-23, Daniel9:21, Revelation12:7-11)

We hear your cry for protection and guidance, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s covering over your life. While we appreciate your trust in divine care, we must gently correct a few things to align your prayer with Scripture. First, we do not pray to or invoke angels, our prayers are directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, who is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve His people (Hebrews 1:14), but they are not to be worshipped, prayed to, or relied upon as protectors in place of the Lord. Our refuge is in God Himself, who commands His angels concerning us (Psalm 91:11-12), but we do not summon them.

Second, we notice your request for vengeance. Scripture tells us, "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19). Instead of asking for the destruction of your enemies, we should pray for their repentance and transformation, as Jesus taught us to love and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). God’s justice is perfect, and He will deal with those who oppose His children in His time and way.

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father (John 14:6):

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection over their life. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). Shield them from all harm and evil, and surround them with Your holy angels to guard their steps. Illuminate their path with Your truth and wisdom, and scatter every plot of the enemy against them. We rebuke every spirit of destruction and confusion in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart, knowing that You are in control. Help them to release any bitterness or desire for vengeance, and fill them with Your love and forgiveness. If there are those who have wronged them, we pray for their salvation and repentance, that they may turn to You. Strengthen this one in faith, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus.

Lord, we also ask for Your guidance in every area of their life, finances, relationships, and daily activities. Restore what has been lost or damaged, and bless their hands to prosper in all they do. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide for their needs (Matthew 6:33). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and trust in His timing. The enemy may come to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Keep your focus on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If you are facing ongoing spiritual warfare, we also advise you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you. You are not alone in this battle, God is fighting for you!

It’s clear that you’re carrying a heavy weight, feeling targeted and needing protection at every turn. We hear that cry, and we take it seriously. When the attacks feel relentless and the damage tangible, it’s easy for our minds to circle back to those who wish us harm. But even in that, we aren’t left defenseless.

The same God who commands His angels to guard you sees all of it, the plotting, the losses, the daily pressure. He doesn’t ask you to fight for yourself or to carry the burden of setting things right. He tells us to cast our care on Him, because He cares for you. That includes the deep desire for justice. We can release that into His hands, trusting Him to handle what we cannot.

What might help right now is not just asking for shielding, but also asking for inner quiet. When our thoughts are loud with worry about enemies, meditating on the promises you already named from Psalm 91 can be a refuge. Speak those truths aloud over your home and your coming days, not as a formula but as a reminder of who is with you. Sometimes that simple practice settles the heart more than we expect.

We pray with you now:

Father, thank You that You are a shield around us. We lift up Your child who feels surrounded and under attack. Guard their life, their home, and their daily work. Send Your angels to watch over them in ways we cannot see. Take the desire for vengeance and replace it with Your lasting peace. Bring justice where it is needed, and frustrate every scheme meant for harm. Guide their steps this year, and let them know deep down that they are never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You speak of calling upon your guardian angel and seek a scattering of foes, but I must press upon you the lessons of Psalm 91, which you yourself cite. The promise, “He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways,” belongs not to every path a man may choose, but to the ways of God’s own appointment. If your aim is moneymaking and personal aggrandizement, or if you walk in the way of error, how can you expect Divine protection? The angels are ministering spirits for those who walk in childlike trust in Providential guidance, who wait upon God to know what they shall do, and who dare not lean upon their own understanding. To such, angelic protection is guaranteed, perpetual, and personal, but in God’s appointed ways, not in a course of calling down vengeance upon others.

You plead for vengeance, but do you not hear the grating discord between that cry and the sweet music of acceptance? The day of vengeance of our God fell, once for all, upon the head of our Surety, the Lamb of God. When Jesus stood in Gethsemane, vengeance with its iron rod bruised the harmless Lamb. That dreadful night, all the waves and billows of Divine wrath went over His innocent head. So hear this and let your heart be at peace: the day of vengeance is past! It was accomplished eighteen hundred years ago and more. Now no more His wrath we dread; legal claims are fully met. Why, then, do you take up the sword of vengeance when Christ has sheathed it in His own bosom? If you bleed for sin and mourn because of it, cling to the cross, and leave your perceived enemies in the hands of Him who judges righteously. To call down destruction upon those who have plotted against your belongings is to forget that the low tree is exalted and the high tree cut down by Divine wisdom alone. He exalteth the low tree and abaseth the proud; leave your adversaries with God, who permits trial because He knows His grace is sufficient.

As for the angels, it is a good thing to know they are ministering spirits, but they are not yours to command as though they were guardian genii to be summoned at will. They study the mysteries of the Gospel with wonder, the Church is their schoolbook, wherein they learn the manifold wisdom of God. They flew at Christ’s birth, they strengthened Him in the garden, they rolled away the stone, and they once burst open prison doors for the Apostles. But when they did so, what was the charge? “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.” Not, “Go and smite your enemies,” but “Go and preach the Gospel.” If you would have angelic companionship, devote your tongue to telling out the unsearchable riches of Christ. Personal religion demands personal service; you have been blood-bought and blood-washed, not by an angel, but by the Son of God Himself. Serve Him, then, with your own lips and life, and trust your protection to His wise administration.

If enemies rage, remember that he who never had an enemy never had a friend. The arch-enemy himself flies confounded when a saint, though in darkness, still trusts and obeys. Your duty is not to invoke vengeance but to obey in detail, not forgetting any point of duty. The honor of Divine grace in a Christian is steadfast faith under trial. So go forth, speak the words of this life promptly, adore the Divine Lord who is truly God and truly Man, and leave your fears and your foes with Him who has already destroyed the last enemy, Death itself. For a believer in Jesus, Death is a destroyed enemy, how much more, then, these passing troubles!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask God for vengeance upon your foes, yet the Scripture commands us to pray for our enemies and to bless those who curse us. What sort of prayer is this, to call down wrath while expecting peace for yourself? The heart that seeks revenge is not a heart at rest. A broken and contrite heart God will not despise, but a heart eager to see others suffer has not yet learned the way of Christ.

Consider what you ask regarding your guardian angel. The angels indeed minister to us, but they do not serve our passions. When you ask your angel to scatter foes and destroy those who plot against you, you make of God's holy messenger an instrument of your anger. This is not the prayer of humility but of wounded pride. The Lord Himself, when wronged, did not call down legions of angels but submitted to the cross, showing that greater is the victory of patience than any swift retaliation.

God's protection is real. As a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, so does He shelter those who trust in Him. But this protection is not chiefly from outward enemies. It is from the enemy within: the anger, the bitterness, the love of possessions that you say have been destroyed. What have you lost that was not already passing away? If your belongings are gone, what remains of your soul? That is what the Lord guards.

Pray instead for a heart that can endure wrongs without seeking payback. Leave vengeance to God, who alone knows how and when to render true justice. When He sends forth judgment, it will be a perfect judgment needing no correction from our petty wrath. But if you pray with hands raised in anger, asking mercy for yourself while demanding punishment for others, do not expect to be heard. As the prophet Jeremiah was told, there are prayers God will not receive, because the heart is not right before Him.

Trust in the care of God Himself, not in some delegated vengeance through angels. The life of faith does not count its attendants or its goods. The angels need no servants, yet they serve God continually. You will find greater peace when you need fewer things, even when you need fewer protections, and rest simply in the will of God. That is the shield no enemy can pierce.

The intensity of what you are feeling reflects a real and serious spiritual reality. We often forget that our daily struggles are not merely against people or difficult circumstances. There is a genuine spiritual warfare being waged in the unseen realm around us, and many times the confusion, anxiety, or opposition we experience are the residual effects of that conflict.

What you must grasp is that the weapons for this battle are not physical or carnal. You cannot fight a spiritual enemy with worldly retaliation, harsh words, or schemes to get even. The enemy would love nothing more than to drag you down into the flesh, where you will only find defeat and bitterness. The real power is in recognizing that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has given you mighty spiritual weapons: the Word of God, faith, and persistent prayer.

In your request, you spoke of desiring vengeance. This is a deeply human reaction, and the Scriptures show that even David cried out for God to deal with his enemies. Yet we must handle this impulse with great care. The moment you try to take vengeance into your own hands, you step out of the Spirit and into a trap. God has clearly declared, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” There is a day of vengeance that belongs only to the Lord, a future time when He will purge all wickedness perfectly and righteously. Your role now is not to execute justice, but to commit yourself and your situation into the hands of the One who judges righteously. Ask God to keep your heart from devising its own retaliation, and trust Him to handle it in His perfect way and timing.

This is why prayer is such a decisive weapon. Prayer is not a passive last resort; it is the heavy artillery of the Spirit. When you pray, you are not restricted by time or space. You can bring Christ’s victory directly into a situation while the enemy has no idea where the assault is coming from. Through prayer, you take authority over the schemes of darkness by the power of Jesus’ triumph at the cross. When you feel the harassment of the enemy, retreat into prayer and let God fight for you.

However, prayer is never an excuse for doing nothing practical. Look at the model of faithful men of old: they made their prayer to God and then they set a watch. They combined their spiritual reliance with prudent, responsible action. As you pray for guidance and protection, also ask the Holy Spirit to give you practical wisdom. Are there wise precautions you should take? Are there responsible steps you can implement to safeguard your activities and belongings? Prayer prepares the way for action, but it never replaces it.

When fear grips your heart, it is a sign that your eyes have shifted onto the threat. The cure for that fear is to remember the Lord and His greatness. Greater is He who is with you than all the forces that can align against you. Instead of focusing on the plots of the enemy, bring every problem to the Lord in prayer. As you place your unmanageable situations into His hands, He will lift you out of the spirit of defeat and bring you into a place of strength and confidence, changing your despair into a song of victory.

You do not need to live in harassment. Stand firm in the victory Christ has already won, use the spiritual weapons He has provided, and trust in His divine care to scatter the forces that oppose you.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with your prayer request, sharing your heart as you sought God’s protection, guidance, and justice in the midst of spiritual warfare. It is our honor to have stood in agreement with you, lifting your concerns before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to surround you with His heavenly hosts and shield you from every scheme of the enemy.

If the Lord has answered your prayer—if you’ve experienced His peace, seen His protection, or witnessed His justice—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a powerful encouragement to others walking through similar battles.

If, however, the struggle persists and you still feel under attack, please know that we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. Do not hesitate to post your request again, for we believe in the power of persistent prayer and the faithfulness of our God to hear and respond.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, cover you with His wings, and dispatch His angels to guard your steps. May He scatter every foe and turn every plot against you into a testimony of His glory. We pray that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will fill your heart and mind as you press into Him.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
