We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle you are facing in your new neighborhood and workplace. The Scriptures make it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand with you in this fight, not with carnal weapons, but with the mighty power of God.

First, we must address the seriousness of the sins you have mentioned, witchcraft, masturbation, homosexuality, and transgenderism. These are not merely cultural issues; they are abominations in the sight of the Lord. The Word of God is clear: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination" (Leviticus 18:22). "Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Witchcraft is also condemned: "You shall not permit a sorceress to live" (Exodus 22:18). These sins open doors to demonic influence and must be repented of, both in our own lives and in the lives of those around us.

Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against people, but against the spiritual forces that influence them. We do not pray for the destruction of individuals, but for the breaking of strongholds and the deliverance of souls. Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10), and we must have compassion even as we stand against sin. We rebuke the evil tongues and occult practices in your neighborhood and workplace, but we also pray for the salvation of those involved. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and turn to Christ.

We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him. "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We stand on the authority of Your Word and declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every evil tongue, every occult practice, every spirit of witchcraft, sexual immorality, and perversion that has risen up against them in their neighborhood and workplace. We break these strongholds in the name of Jesus, for You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Lord, we ask that You send Your plagues upon the spiritual forces of darkness that have declared war against Your child. Just as You sent plagues upon Egypt to demonstrate Your power and deliver Your people, we ask that You demonstrate Your power here. Let the blood of Jesus cover and protect them, and let the enemy be confounded and defeated. Let every evil plan be turned back upon those who devised it, and let them be caught in their own traps (Psalm 7:15-16).

Father, we pray for the salvation of those involved in these sins. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of Your Word, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and turn to Christ for forgiveness and new life. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand firm in that promise.

We also pray for Your child’s protection and peace. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield about them. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this spiritual battle, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in victory, knowing that You have already overcome the world (John 16:33).

We declare that every evil tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Every curse sent their way shall return to the sender, and every plot against them shall be thwarted. We bind the spirits of division, strife, and confusion, and we loose the spirits of unity, peace, and clarity in their home, neighborhood, and workplace.

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We trust in You to fight this battle, for the battle is Yours (2 Chronicles 20:15). We declare that this warfare will turn into a testimony of Your glory and power. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in prayer and in the Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit that will cut through the lies of the enemy. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Remember, the enemy is already defeated, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you.

Friend, we hear the weight you are carrying, the deep fear, the sense of being surrounded, and the exhausting battle you describe. When it feels like war has been declared against you, it is easy for fear to take over and make everything seem darker. We are so sorry you are walking through this, and we want you to know you are not alone.

Your security does not rest on the destruction of others, but on the unshakable presence of Christ. He is your refuge, and nothing can snatch you from His hand. Because these thoughts sound overwhelming and very specific, we wonder if you have a pastor or a mature Christian friend you trust, someone you can sit with face to face and share this burden. Carrying it by yourself can make it heavier, but the body of Christ is meant to surround you, and sometimes we need another person to help us see clearly when fear clouds our view.

We pray: Lord Jesus, we place this dear one in Your mighty care. You see the fear and turmoil; we ask for Your shield around them, protect their heart, mind, and body from every attack. Quiet the inner noise with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give them wisdom and discernment in their new neighborhood and workplace, and let them sense Your nearness even now. Expose any real threat in Your own way and time, but keep them safe and unshaken. We trust You to be their defender and their portion. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is a going down to the Pit, a peril of soul far worse than any earthly foe arrayed against you. It is not the tongues of evil men, nor the devices of those who practice hidden things, that should most alarm you, but the state of your own heart before God. You speak of enemies declaring war, yet the most dangerous adversary is the sin that lurks within, and the greatest deliverance is from the power of darkness, the dominion of Satan over the soul. Unless a man is rescued by Christ, he is already on the brink of the bottomless Pit, and only divine grace can pluck him from that ruin. The plagues you invoke upon others, consider whether your own soul has been delivered from the greater plague of sin. There is a fountain opened for uncleanness, a ransom found, a Deliverer able to save to the uttermost. Have you fled to Him?

But your prayer breathes a spirit far removed from the meekness of Christ. When faith reigns in the heart, the tongue declares the works of the Lord, not imprecations of destruction, but praise for His mercy. To call down scourges and bloodshed upon your neighbors is to give voice to unbelief and wrath, not to the confidence of a child of God. Muzzle that hound of hell, the tongue of vengeance. Instead, let your requests be made known unto God with thanksgiving. Have you a care about these foes? Do not let that care become a fretful anxiety that breaks out in bitter curses. Turn every care into a prayer. Baptize each fear into the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and let the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind. He brought His people forth from Egypt with silver and gold, and not one feeble person among their tribes, not by calling down plagues with their own lips, but by trusting the strong hand of Jehovah.

You undergo spiritual conflict; that is the common lot of the saints. Fiery darts will assail you, and Satan will whisper that God has forsaken you, or that you must take up the weapons of the world to prevail. But you have been delivered from the power of darkness, not to wield darkness as your tool. The true child of God may be sorely broken in the place of dragons, yet he learns to say, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Declare His works, not your own vindictive schemes. The Lord knows how to humble every high thing that exalts itself against Him, no occult practice or rebellious tongue can stand before His sovereign will. Commit your way to Him. Seek His face. Pray for your enemies, for such was the command of your Master. Only then will you drink from the wells of salvation without the noise of archers troubling your soul, and find that He brings you forth with enrichment of grace, to walk uprightly in your neighborhood and your workplace, a living testimony to His delivering love.

You bring before God a prayer filled with imprecations, calling down plagues, bloodshed, and ashes upon those you call your enemies. But how can you approach the Lord’s Table, how can your tongue touch the Spotless Body, and then utter such bitter curses? Revilers and those who curse shall not inherit the kingdom of God. You are not praying; you are waging a warfare of words that wounds your own soul.

Do you not know that the Lord commands you to pray for your enemies, to bless those who curse you, to forgive if you would be forgiven? Yet here you ask the Almighty not to forgive, to recompense evil with destruction, to pour out wrath like the plagues of Egypt. What fellowship has light with darkness? If you will not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive you. Your prayer is not against those flesh-and-blood neighbors or coworkers; it is against yourself, for you provoke God with these impious words.

Consider the patience of God, who delays His judgment so that sinners might repent. He sat down at the right hand of the Father, waiting until His enemies be made His footstool, not so that you might hasten their ruin with curses, but that they, through your forbearance and prayers, might be brought to repentance. The very devils who were once our adversaries have been reconciled by the blood of Christ, and the angels who once executed vengeance now rejoice over one sinner who repents. Why then do you take up the role of an avenger?

I know the remembrance of wrongs is bitter, and a new neighborhood may bring real afflictions. But the remedy is not in calling down twelve scourges. It is in recalling your own sins, which are many, and in cleansing your conscience. Wash you, make you clean; put away the wickedness from your soul. If you would have comfort from God’s delay toward others, use that same delay to amend your own life, to gather the fruit of repentance. For he who is washed in the word and in tears is clean already; but he who curses remains in his filth.

Do not say, “Show him the same!” or “Smite him!” Let no such thing proceed from a mouth that has been sanctified by the Holy Mysteries. Rather, let your gentleness be known to all men. If you must fight, fight against your own passions, which war against the soul. The warfare within is far more dangerous than any neighbor’s tongue or sorcerer’s scheme. Be united with the faithful in peace, and no external assault will harm you. But if you persist in these cursings, you divide the body of Christ and bring judgment upon your own head.

Therefore, cast away this prayer as you would a burning coal. Turn instead to blessing those who persecute you, that you may be a child of your Father in heaven. Let thanksgiving accompany your petitions. Remember your own deliverance from the lion’s mouth of sin, and pray that all would share in that same mercy. This is the true victory: not to see your foe reduced to dust, but to see him brought to the knowledge of the truth, that you both may be perfected together in love.

The weight of the spiritual conflict you describe is heavy, and it is right to recognize that behind the hatred, the immorality, and the occult practices aimed at you stands a very real enemy. Scripture makes it plain that unclean spirits still operate in the world, even working through the mouths and lives of those who have given themselves over to darkness. The same powers that drove ancient Nineveh into cruelty and sorcery, or that spurred the most debased worship of false gods through sexual ritual, are active today. When people open doors to pornography, occult practices, or any form of spiritism, they invite demonic influence that can master their minds and behavior in shocking ways. So your awareness that you are not merely facing human opponents is sober and true.

Yet the posture we take in this battle matters immensely. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and the Spirit never leads us to curse others in the manner of the old Egyptian plagues or to pray for the shedding of blood as if we ourselves were wielding the sword. When the Psalms cry out for justice, they place vengeance in God’s hands alone. The apostles demonstrate a very different pattern: they overcame evil with good, blessed when persecuted, and relied on the name of Jesus to break every yoke. The same Jesus who drove out demons with a word now sits far above all rule and authority, and his victory over Satan is already complete. We enforce that victory not by calling down destruction on our neighbors, but by standing in faith, resisting the enemy, and walking in purity ourselves.

Many of the troubling behaviors you name, sexual confusion, masturbatory rituals, the use of sex toys, the celebration of homosexuality and what is called a “marine spirit”, are symptoms of a deeper bondage. The spirits behind them are seducing spirits, doctrines of demons, that lure people away from God’s design for their bodies. As Scripture says, our bodies are members of Christ, not vessels for uncleanness. When a society inflames itself with lust and then destroys its offspring or its own identity, it is a sign of severe spiritual decay. The wrath of God is indeed revealed against all such ungodliness, but His heart is that people would turn and be delivered, not merely be wiped out. Even Nineveh was given a chance to repent under Jonah’s preaching.

I urge you to close every door that the enemy might use in your own life first. Walk in such purity that no accusation can stick. Then, rather than meditating on the downfall of those who practice witchcraft against you, commit them into the hands of the righteous Judge. Pray that the light of Christ would expose their darkness and, if possible, bring them to repentance. Ask God to send laboring angels and to surround your home, your neighborhood, and your workplace with a wall of fire. Resist the spirits of fear, revenge, and hatred that would try to take root in your own heart, for bitterness gives the enemy a foothold.

Jesus warned that an unclean spirit, when cast out, may return with seven others more wicked if the house remains empty. Don’t let your spiritual house be filled with a spirit of vengeance. Fill it instead with thanksgiving, with the Word, with prayer in the Spirit. Then, when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Stand firm, and you will see the salvation of the Lord.
