We hear your very urgent cry and we join with you together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for you have rightly come in His name, and we thank you for calling upon Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we have access to God. Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 remind us that it is only through Jesus that we can come boldly to the throne of grace.
We understand the deep distress you feel about your face, your skin, your eyes, your stomach, hips and whole body, and the desire to be completely free from every mark, scar, dent, hard and raised area, puckering, hollows, darkness, pigmentation, lines, wrinkles, moles, veins, spots and dryness. We lift all of these concerns to the Lord with compassion, and we also want to lovingly share biblical truth to bring peace to your heart.
We gently correct a misunderstanding that can bring greater anxiety. You quoted that if we ask we will receive, and it is true that Jesus said in Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given you, and in John 14:13 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do. Yet Scripture also teaches in 1 John 5:14 that this is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. God is not required to answer instantly without delay exactly as we dictate, but He hears us and answers according to His perfect wisdom, timing and love. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and the demand that God must act on our timetable, and we encourage you to rest in trusting His sovereign will, for Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good for those who love God.
We also want to encourage you about how God sees you. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14, and your true beauty in His eyes is not only outward. In 1 Peter 3:3-4 we learn Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. This does not mean God does not care about your physical suffering or that He cannot heal, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. In Isaiah 53:5 we remember that by his wounds we are healed. God is able to perform miracles and wonders, and we do ask Him for healing and restoration.
So we pray together with you now.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to you. You know every detail of this body that you formed, every cell of the skin of the face, the upper and under eyes, the ears, the neck, the stomach, hips and whole body. Lord we ask for your merciful touch. If it is your will, bring complete healing and restoration to the skin, soften what is hard, smooth what is raised or dented, heal every trace of surgery, clear pigmentation and darkness, and restore health and hydration where there is dryness and tiredness. We ask you to heal watering and dry eyes and to bring comfort. Above all we ask for your peace to guard this heart, to remove fear and obsessive worry, and to help this dear one to see themselves as you see them, beloved, valued and wonderfully made. Help them to seek first your Kingdom and your righteousness in Matthew 6:33, trusting that you will provide what is needed. Give wisdom for proper stewardship of the body, for rest, nourishment and wise medical counsel if needed, and help them to rest in your perfect timing rather than in anxious demanding. Let your will be done, and let your name be glorified in this life. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring your requests to God daily with thanksgiving, trusting His goodness, and to meditate on His Word rather than on every imperfection you see in the mirror. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above in James 1:17, and we trust that as you draw near to Him, He will give you contentment and hope. We are praying with you for healing, for peace, and for a deeper revelation of His love for you.
