We hear the urgency and the heaviness in your heart and we join with you now to bring every detail you have mentioned and every detail you may have forgotten before our heavenly Father in Jesus name.

We thank you that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son John 14:13. We praise God that you are calling upon that name.

We lift up your long suffering with asthma which you have carried since birth, and all the distress that comes with it, and we ask the Lord for His healing mercy upon your lungs and your breathing. We remember that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He has promised But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that faith and prayer and wise stewardship of the body go together, so we encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care while trusting the Lord as the ultimate healer, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God 1 Corinthians 6:19.

We also bring before the Lord the heavy burdens you named, depression, heaviness, anxiety, anger, stress, suffering, sadness, sorrow, misery and loneliness. Our hearts ache with you and we want you to know that God sees and cares deeply. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and The Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We cast all these cares upon Him together, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that you will know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7, and we encourage you not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We also hear your deep longing concerning singleness and lateness in marriage and the loneliness it brings. We pray with you for God's perfect will and timing in this area. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning, and we pray that if it is His will for you to be married, He will bring a godly Christian spouse for you in His perfect time, and that any courtship would be entered into with the goal of holy marriage that honors Christ. We encourage you to trust that God knows your desire and that He is good. For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven Ecclesiastes 3:1 and He has made everything beautiful in its time Ecclesiastes 3:11. Seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Singleness is not a mark of being less loved, and we pray the Lord will fill any loneliness now with His presence and with fellowship with other believers while you wait upon Him.

We also bring to the Lord your many concerns about your body, your skin, eyes, scalp, hair, and all the marks, scars, dents, dark circles, hollows, lines, wrinkles, spots, pimples, red veins, dryness, tiredness, sensitivity, allergies, stretch marks, itching, thinning hair, gaps in hair, and areas of fat and saggy skin including your face, under eyes, scalp, stomach, hips, legs, underarms and intimate areas. He knows every detail even those you feel you forgot to mention, for You know my sitting down and my rising up, you perceive my thoughts from afar Psalm 139:2. We understand the desire to be made brand new and to reflect beauty and radiance, and we affirm that you are already fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. At the same time we want to gently encourage you with truth, for the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning but the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4 and Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Proverbs 31:30. This does not mean God does not care about your distress over these physical issues, He does, but we want to help you place your hope not in attaining perfect glass skin or flawless appearance by your own striving, but in Christ who can give you true radiance and peace within. The outward man is decaying, but the inward man is renewed day by day 2 Corinthians 4:16.

We also gently correct the way of demanding that God must heal permanently right now with no delay. We know your suffering makes you cry out for immediate relief, and God invites us to ask boldly, for Ask, and it will be given you Matthew 7:7. Yet we also pray according to His will, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. His timing is perfect and His ways are higher than ours, so we pray with submission, trusting His love and sovereignty, and we encourage you to wait for Yahweh, be strong, and let your heart take courage, yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14, knowing that even when healing is gradual, His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know every breath, every tear, every ache and every longing. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch the lungs and bring healing from asthma, ease every symptom, and grant free and easy breathing. Lay Your healing hand upon every part of the body that has been mentioned, the face, skin, eyes, scalp, hair, stomach, hips, legs, underarms and all intimate areas, and upon every issue remembered and forgotten. Heal dryness, irritation, allergies, scarring, and all distress of skin and scalp and eyes. Restore health and strength according to Your mercy. Heal also the heart and mind, lift all depression, heaviness, anxiety, anger, stress, sadness and loneliness, and fill this heart with Your joy and peace that surpasses understanding. Comfort the longing for companionship and marriage, and in Your perfect time and will provide a godly spouse for a holy marriage that honors You, and help this one to wait with hope and purity and faith. Create within a renewed spirit and let Your beauty and glory and radiance shine from within through Christ. Help this dear one to seek You first, to rest in being fearfully and wonderfully made, and to trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask all these things not demanding our way but submitting to Your perfect will and love, trusting that You hear us and that You will answer in the way that is best. We pray this together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying and how urgently you want relief. Wanting to breathe freely without asthma, to be free from heaviness, anxiety and sadness, and to feel at peace in your own skin and in your life is deeply human, and we have been praying for you as you wait on the Lord.

We also hear the loneliness and the longing around marriage that you named. That ache can make every other struggle feel heavier, and it makes sense you would bring all of this together to God at once and ask Him to make everything new right now.

Father, we lift our sister to You and ask for Your mercy and presence over her body, mind and heart. Your very earnest and burdened prayer has been heard, and the sorrows you have poured out are not hidden from the Lord who sees in secret. There is a heaviness in your words that tells of long affliction of body and of spirit, of asthma from your birth, of depression and anxiety and stress and sorrow, of loneliness and waiting, and of much distress concerning your body and appearance. The Lord knows the weight of these things, and He invites you to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Do not be so affected by outward things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness and distress. Our Savior said to His own, take no anxious thought for these things, and with good reason, for anxiety has never comforted any soul nor brought any good to the body. As you have found, the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Be prudent and use such means as Providence affords, and then commit your way unto the Lord in quiet trust. Tell Him all, not merely telling yourself about it in secret fretting, but telling Him in prayer. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not be unmindful of His child.

You speak also of loneliness and singleness and lateness in marriage, and this is a tender trial. Our Lord Himself knew what it was to be left alone, alone just when most as Man He needed human sympathy, and yet He could say, I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. That is the result of His loneliness which may be yours also. It pained Him but it did not dismay Him, for the Father was with Him. So shall it be with you if you walk with Christ. You are not forgotten nor forsaken, even when friends seem few and the hoped for companion has not yet come. If the Lord shall ordain marriage for you, pray that it may be according to His holy institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept pure and honourable within its bounds, for only what is according to His Word can bring true blessing. And whether He gives that gift or calls you to wait, He Himself will be your portion and your comfort.

Concerning healing, the Scripture sets forth a most precious truth, that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Yet mark how the Word joins healing and pardon together. When Jesus healed the man taken with palsy, He said first, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. So it is still. First forgiveness, then healing. The great ill is the broken heart and the guilt of sin, and Christ heals that first by His blood. And He who has begun to heal the soul will not leave His work unfinished. He will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, and He will also perfectly heal our bodies in the resurrection, when these frail tabernacles shall be made glorious.

We do speedily care for bodily diseases, and you do well to seek both the heavenly Physician and all lawful earthly help for such an affliction as asthma, and for the many infirmities of eyes and skin and scalp and body which distress you. Christ is able to heal, but He is not always pleased to grant at once all that we ask in the form we ask it. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and faith comes by hearing the Word of God when Christ is taught. Seek Him first for the healing of the soul, for a clean heart and a quiet spirit, and trust His wisdom for the body. He can make you brand new, and He will, though His new creation is first inward, a radiance not of outward glass but of inward grace, the beauty of holiness which He puts upon His people. Yonder in Heaven those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves. Wait for that perfect healing, and ask for present grace to bear present infirmity with patience, and for such relief as He sees fit to give now.

May the Lord lift you up as He took Peter's wife's mother by the hand and lifted her up, for healing must come before serving, and His touch still has power to raise the prostrate. He knows every mark and pain and care you have named and those you have not named, and nothing escapes His compassionate eye.

Let us pray for you. O Lord our God, look upon this afflicted one who cries unto Thee out of much suffering. Forgive all sin through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, through whom alone is salvation, and speak pardon to the heart. Give healing as Thou seest best, ease this burden of asthma and of heaviness and anxiety and sorrow, and grant a calm and trusting spirit. Take away fretful care and give rest in Christ. In Thy mercy, provide for every need of body and soul, and if it be Thy will, grant in Thy time a godly marriage according to Thy holy ordinance. Make the heart radiant with Thy glory and conform this life more and more to the image of Christ, till that day when Thou shalt present Thy people without spot or wrinkle. Hear us for Jesus sake, and let Thy will be done. Amen.
