We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry and we join with you in bringing this suffering before the Lord, for He sees all that has happened to you and to other patients and He does not overlook injustice or affliction. We understand the desire for immediate accountability when you feel you have been treated badly and dismissively and left with suffering, and we want to lift this burden to the One who judges righteously.

We also want to gently bring biblical truth to the way we pray about this, because while God indeed loves justice and hates wrongdoing, He calls us to entrust vengeance and judgment to Him and to seek His will rather than demanding our own outcome on our own timing. Scripture says Vengeance is mine and I will repay, says the Lord in Romans 12:19, and again Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to God's wrath. We are also taught to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us as Jesus said Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you in Matthew 5:44 and Luke 6:28. This does not mean we excuse wrongdoing or that accountability should not happen, for the Lord executes righteous acts and justice for all who are oppressed in Psalm 103:6 and He has established authorities to carry out justice as in Romans 13:1-4, but it does mean we release bitterness and the desire for personal revenge and for shaming, and we ask God to do what is right in His perfect wisdom and timing. To pray that a person be put to shame or brought to his knees out of anger is not the heart God desires for us, for He desires that all would come to repentance as in 2 Peter 3:9 and that even those who have done wrong would be convicted, confess, and turn from their ways. Forgiveness in our hearts does not remove consequences, but Scripture warns us Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you in Ephesians 4:31-32, so that we do not become consumed by the very hurt that was done to us.

We also notice your earnest appeal in the name of Jesus Christ and we affirm with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is salvation in no other name as in Acts 4:12. We come together in that precious name, not to command God to act instantly as we dictate, but to humbly submit to His sovereign justice and mercy, trusting that He will uncover what is hidden, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed in Luke 8:17, and that He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness in 1 Corinthians 4:5 in His perfect time as in Ecclesiastes 3:1 and Psalm 27:14.

We pray together for you and for all the patients who have suffered. We ask the Lord to bring healing to your body and peace to your heart, for He is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a crushed spirit in Psalm 34:18. We pray that if wrongdoing and arrogance and dismissive care have truly occurred, the Lord would expose the truth and that proper authorities, medical boards and those in positions of oversight, would act with wisdom, thoroughness and impartial justice to protect future patients, for when justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous in Proverbs 21:15. We pray that the surgeon in question would be brought under deep conviction by the Holy Spirit, that he would acknowledge any harm done, repent, and be transformed, and if he is unfit to practice, that the Lord would in His providence prevent further harm through lawful and just means rather than through our own vengeance. We ask God to remove bitterness from our hearts and to help us to overcome evil with good in Romans 12:21, entrusting ourselves to Him who judges justly as Christ did in 1 Peter 2:23.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is hurting and all the patients who have suffered. You see every tear, every injustice, every arrogant word and every wound. We ask You to be our righteous Judge and Healer. Let truth be revealed and let justice be done according to Your perfect righteousness. We pray for lawful accountability where it is needed, for protection for future patients, and for wisdom for those who investigate these matters. We pray for this surgeon, that You would convict his heart, lead him to repentance and to a true understanding of the stewardship of caring for those made in Your image. Heal those who have been harmed, comfort them, restore what has been broken, and guard our hearts from hatred, helping us to forgive as You have forgiven us and to trust Your timing and Your ways. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and mediator, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your pain honestly to the Lord, to seek godly counsel and support, and to pursue proper and lawful channels for reporting concerns so that truth can be examined fairly, while you rest in the assurance that the Lord loves justice in Psalm 37:28 and will in the end make all things right.

We have read your prayer and we hear how much pain and anger you are carrying right now. Being harmed while under a surgeon's care, and feeling dismissed or treated with arrogance, can leave you feeling unheard and unsafe. It makes sense that you want urgently to be taken seriously and for what happened to be addressed, especially when you believe others have been hurt as well.

When there is a large gap between what should have happened and what did happen, it is hard not to replay it over and over. That looping can keep hurt and anger very close, and it is exhausting to carry alone.

We will pray for you, for your healing and for wisdom about next steps. If you have not already, it may help to have one trusted person walk with you through this, a pastor, counselor, or advocate, and to use the proper channels for medical concerns, such as a patient relations advocate at the hospital or clinic where you were seen, who can document what happened and explain how a review works. Please also keep following up with your own medical team about any ongoing suffering, alongside prayer and not instead of it, so you have care for your body as well as your heart.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus' name. You see the pain, the disappointment, and the desire for justice. Bring comfort, bring healing, and bring wise and caring support around them. Lead them to the right help and give them peace as they look to You. Amen.

Your cry of pain has been heard, and the suffering you describe, both your own and that of other patients, is not hidden from the Lord who sees all that is done and who judges righteously.

In such deep distress the heart naturally cries out for immediate punishment and for shame to fall upon the one who has caused the hurt. It is right to desire that wrong be made right and that truth be brought to light, for the Lord loves justice. Yet Scripture teaches us to place vengeance in His hands and not to let bitterness take root within us. As it is written, vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay in His perfect wisdom and time.

There is a bitterness that the soul feels when it has been wounded, but that bitterness, if it remains, will only do further harm to the wounded one. One effect of looking to the Cross is to take away all bitterness against our fellow men, not because wrong does not matter, but because Christ has borne the judgment and calls us to trust the Father who judges justly. To trust Him truly is to say, I will not be afraid, for God is my refuge, and He will do what is right.

You have asked for swift and severe judgment upon this surgeon. Let us instead pray that the Lord, who is both just and merciful, will cause the truth to be fully known, that those in rightful authority will examine all that has been done with honesty and care, and that no further harm will come to any patient. If wrong has been done, pray that it will be rightly addressed through the proper and lawful means which God has ordained for the protection of all. And pray also, as hard as it may be, for the soul of the man himself, that if there is arrogance or neglect, he may be brought to see it, to repent, and to seek forgiveness with God, for there is forgiveness with Him, though sins be great, through the blood of Jesus Christ.

That forgiveness does not make wrong to be right, nor does it remove lawful accountability, but it reminds us that we too stand in need of mercy. We have in Him a full forgiveness, an eternal forgiveness, and because we have been so forgiven, we are called to release the burden of personal vengeance into the hands of God and to seek peace.

Let us pray together:

O Lord, You know the pain and suffering that has been endured. You see every patient and every wound. We ask You to bring healing to those who have been hurt, to comfort troubled hearts, and to grant wisdom to all who are responsible for overseeing medical care, that truth may be revealed and justice done according to Your righteousness. Restrain all that would cause further harm. Work in every heart concerned, bringing conviction where it is needed and repentance where there is sin. And grant to the one who has prayed this prayer a quiet trust in Your goodness, a heart kept from consuming bitterness, and the peace that comes from knowing that there is forgiveness with You through Jesus Christ our Lord. Help in this trial to trust and not to fear, looking to Christ alone for salvation and for rest. Amen.

If you have not already done so, seek godly counsel and make your concerns known through the right and orderly channels that God has provided for such matters, that what is true may be duly examined. And continue to bring your sorrows to Christ, who is the sinner's Savior and who completes the work He begins in His people.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your hurt and urgency come through very clearly, and the suffering you describe, both your own and what you have seen in other patients, is taken seriously before the Lord. It is right to want patients to be safe, to want the truth to be known, and to want accountability where harm has been done. God cares about justice and He cares about those who have been wounded by dismissive or arrogant treatment.

At the same time, the way we bring our pain to God matters. Scripture teaches us to leave vengeance to Him and not to hold on to a desire for revenge, because the ways of revenge lead only to death and bitterness takes root in our own soul. Anger was given to us not to attack one another, but to stand against evil itself and to correct what is wrong with humility, and most of all to be severe with our own sins while being gentle toward others. When we have been wronged, we are also people who need forgiveness for much greater debts before God, and He calls us to have a gentle and human soul, even as we seek what is just.

That does not mean you should pretend the harm did not happen or that you should not seek help. It means bringing your cry to God in a different way. Instead of asking Him to shame or destroy a person, we can ask Him to bring truth into the light, to protect future patients, to give wisdom to those who have authority to judge these matters justly, and to work in every heart involved, including bringing conviction and repentance where it is needed. God mixes justice with mercy, and His judgments are both true and kind, far beyond our own understanding of strict payback.

I want to pray for you in that spirit, and I encourage you also to take practical steps for protection and accountability if you have not already, such as speaking with a patient advocate, documenting what happened, and reporting your concerns through the proper hospital and medical oversight channels so that others can be kept safe.

Let us pray together:

Lord Jesus Christ, You see the pain and suffering that has been endured and You know every patient who has been hurt. We ask You to bring healing to this wounded heart and to all who have suffered, to calm anger and to replace bitterness with Your peace. Bring what is hidden into the light, protect those who are vulnerable, and guide all who are responsible for oversight to act with wisdom, fairness and truth. Where wrong has been done, bring honest accountability and where repentance is needed, grant it. Teach us to forgive as we have been forgiven, not to excuse wrong but to entrust justice to You, and to be made gentle and humble as You are gentle. Grant rest, restoration and hope, and let Your will be done in justice and mercy. Amen.

If you are carrying this burden alone, please reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor or advocate who can walk with you personally and help you through both the spiritual and practical next steps. You are not forgotten, and God hears the cry for both healing and justice.

Your pain comes through so clearly in this prayer, and the sense of having been treated badly and dismissively, not only yourself but others, is a heavy burden to carry. It is understandable to feel strong anger when you have suffered and when you believe others have suffered too, especially when those entrusted with care seem arrogant or unkind.

Scripture recognizes that there is an anger that is not sinful, an anger at what is wrong, at unrighteousness and evil and hardness of heart. Jesus himself showed anger when he saw the house of God misused and when he saw religious leaders whose hard hearts would keep a suffering man from being healed. To be grieved by injustice and poor treatment is not wrong in itself.

Yet Scripture also gives a clear warning about what anger can become if it is not brought to God in the right way. It says, be angry and do not sin, do not let the sun go down on your wrath. It tells us to put away bitterness and wrath and anger and clamoring and evil speaking along with all malice, because these things grieve the Holy Spirit. It warns that a root of bitterness springing up can trouble us and defile many around us. Bitterness does not heal the wound, it deepens it, and it harms the one who holds it more than anyone else.

God does see affliction. He hears the cry of those who are hurting and he has come to help. Those who are given great responsibility, including those who care for the bodies of others, are held to a higher standard, and God is both just and merciful. His justice means that wrong will not be overlooked, and his mercy means that forgiveness is offered to all who will repent and come to Jesus Christ for cleansing. The greatest miracle he offers any of us is not only physical healing but the forgiveness of sins and a new heart through Christ, and that mercy is available even to those who have done great wrong, if they will turn to him.

It would not be right to ask God to simply shame or destroy a person on our timetable. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and he will judge righteously in his perfect timing and way, which is often not our immediate way. What we can rightly bring to him is a prayer for truth to be made clear, for any genuine wrongdoing to be brought into the light through just and orderly means, for those in authority who oversee medical care to act with wisdom and fairness, for patients who have been hurt to receive healing and comfort, and for your own heart to be guarded from bitterness.

So let us pray in this direction. Lord, you see the hurt that has been experienced and you hear every cry. Bring healing where there has been suffering, comfort where there has been distress, and peace where there has been turmoil. Let what is true be clearly known, and move those who have responsibility to judge these matters to do so justly and carefully. Work in the heart of this surgeon, as you work in all of us, to bring conviction where it is needed, repentance where there has been wrong, and a changed heart that honors you. And above all, guard this wounded heart from taking root in bitterness. Fill it instead with your kindness, forgiveness, and healing grace, and keep it in the straight path of your love through Jesus Christ. Amen.

If you have experienced harmful care, please also seek wise counsel and use the proper channels for review, such as patient advocates, hospital oversight, and medical licensing boards, so that concerns can be examined fairly and thoroughly. And if bitterness is weighing on you, bring it honestly to Jesus, ask him for his forgiveness and cleansing, and let him do the deep healing only he can do.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the deep suffering and hurt you and many other patients have experienced and your urgent burden for accountability and justice regarding the surgeon you mentioned.

We have been lifting your request before the Lord together and asking Him to act mightily according to His perfect justice and mercy. We have prayed that the truth would be fully exposed, that any wrongdoing and the dismissive and harmful treatment of patients would be brought into the light, that those in authority would act with wisdom and integrity to protect patients, and that true accountability would come without delay. We have also prayed for your healing and for comfort and restoration for all who have suffered, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, and He executes justice for the oppressed as Psalm 9:7 reminds us.

Father we bring this situation before You again in Jesus name and ask for Your righteous hand to move. We ask that You uncover what needs to be uncovered, that You guide every investigation and decision by those in authority, that You prevent further harm to patients, and that You bring conviction where there is need for repentance. We ask that You grant wisdom and discernment to all who oversee this matter and that Your justice and truth would prevail. We also ask that You bring healing, peace and vindication to those who have been hurt and that You comfort them by Your presence. In Jesus name we pray.

If your request was answered and you have seen the Lord move to bring truth to light and accountability in this matter, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and the burden remains, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer and to stand with you for as long as it takes.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
