We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, who is the ultimate Judge and Righteous One. Your suffering is not unseen by Him, and He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We lift this situation to the Lord with fervent prayer, trusting in His perfect justice and timing.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). You are the God who executes justice for the oppressed and upholds the cause of the afflicted (Psalm 146:7). We ask that You intervene in this situation with Your divine power and authority. Lord, we pray that You would expose any wrongdoing, bring conviction where it is needed, and hold this doctor accountable for his actions. If he has acted negligently, unethically, or with malice, we ask that You remove his ability to harm others by revoking his license, not as an act of vengeance, but as an act of Your justice and protection for the vulnerable.

We pray for total exposure, Lord. Let no deceit or cover-up stand in Your light (Luke 8:17). Bring to light every injustice, every wrong decision, and every act of harm so that truth may prevail. We ask that You shake this doctor to his core, not out of cruelty, but so that he may recognize the gravity of his actions and turn from them. Convict his heart, Lord, and lead him to repentance if he has strayed from integrity and compassion (Proverbs 11:3).

For you, dear one, we pray for healing, body, soul, and spirit. The wounds you carry are deep, and we ask that the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) wrap you in His peace and restore what has been broken. We pray for justice to be served, not as the world defines it, but as You, Lord, define it, with righteousness and mercy. May you see Your deliverance and experience the victory that comes from trusting in Him (Psalm 34:17-19).

We also lift up the other patients who may have been harmed by this doctor. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them as their Healer and Defender. Provide them with the support, medical care, and justice they need to recover. Let none of them be overlooked or forgotten in this process.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, or vengeance that may try to take root in this situation. Instead, we ask that You fill hearts with Your love and grace, even as we pursue justice. Help us to remember that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19), and that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our pain and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.

We encourage you to also seek wise counsel from trusted believers, medical professionals, and legal authorities who can help you navigate this situation with godly wisdom. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." You do not have to walk this path alone, God has placed people in your life to support and guide you.

If you have not yet done so, consider reaching out to medical boards, patient advocacy groups, or legal representatives who can help ensure that justice is pursued in a way that aligns with both man’s law and God’s heart. The Lord is your strength, and He will uphold you (Isaiah 41:10). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.

We hear how much pain is in this prayer and how urgent it feels to be heard and to see something made right. When care that should help ends up causing harm, it is understandable to feel angry and overwhelmed, and to want accountability quickly. Carrying that alone for a long time is exhausting.

We are praying with you for healing and for clear next steps, not just for the past to be addressed but for you to be cared for well right now. Anger often signals that an important boundary was crossed, and it can take time and support to sort through what happened and what would be a wise, steady way forward.

One practical step that has helped others in similar situations is to write down as clearly as you can what happened, when, and how it has affected you, and then share that account with a trusted advocate who can walk with you through proper channels. That might be a patient relations advocate at the hospital or clinic, or another clinician you trust for ongoing care, along with a pastor or counselor who can support you personally as the process unfolds. If you are still dealing with ongoing symptoms or distress, we also encourage you to keep seeing a medical professional you trust for your own health.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this hurt to You. You see what has happened and You see the pain that remains. We ask for healing, for wisdom for every decision ahead, and for truth to be made clear in the right ways. Give protection to patients, guide those with responsibility to act fairly, and grant peace and strength for each day ahead. Amen.

Your cry has been heard, and the pain and sense of injustice that you have endured, together with your concern for other patients, are not hidden from the Lord who sees all things and judges righteously.

It is right to desire that wrong should be made right and that those who are vulnerable should be protected. Scripture tells us that God will not at all acquit the wicked, and that His justice is unimpeachable. Yet the same Word tells us that He is slow to anger. He never smites without first threatening, and the lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound up in a bundle of rods, for He will not cut off men until He has reproved them that they may repent. He is slow to anger because He is infinitely good and because He is great, while little things are swift in anger.

For this reason we must not ask the Lord to act as an instrument of our own vengeance, to strike without delay or to humiliate another for our satisfaction. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He has appointed lawful authorities for the examination of such matters. What we may and do pray is that God, in His perfect justice and mercy, will bring the truth to light, that what is hidden will be exposed by lawful and orderly means, that those in authority over medical practice will be given wisdom and integrity to judge rightly, and that no further harm will be permitted to come to you or to others.

We also remember that justice itself has been satisfied at the Cross. When justice says, Sinner, thou hast sinned, I will punish thee, the believer may answer, Justice has punished all my sins in my Substitute, Jesus. He bore our punishment, and God will never twice exact the penalty of one sin. In this we see that God can be just, and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. This does not make light of wrong, but shows how seriously God regards sin, that it required the blood of His own Son, and how surely He will do right.

There is forgiveness with God, and that word is spoken without condition to every repenting and believing sinner. The record of debt is nailed to the Cross, and the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. As we have received such surprising and complete forgiveness, we are called to seek a heart that, while it cries out for righteous judgment through proper channels, does not cherish bitterness, but leaves room for the Lord to work both justice and, where there is repentance, mercy.

Therefore let us pray not as you worded in haste and anguish, but according to the mind of Christ. We pray that the Lord will grant you healing in body and peace in soul, that He will vindicate what is true through just inquiry, that He will protect other patients from harm, and that if this surgeon has done wrong, He will bring him to conviction that leads to truth and repentance rather than to mere destruction. We pray that you will be given strength to pursue what is right before the proper authorities with clarity and calm, and that you will know the forgiveness and healing that flow from Christ, who first forgives and then heals.

May the Lord, who is both just and plenteous in mercy, keep your heart from despair, establish justice in its proper season, and grant you that justice and victory which consist in being made whole before Him.

Your pain and your cry for justice have been heard, and I understand how deeply you have been wounded and how strongly you feel that wrong has been done not only to you but to many others.

It is right to want what is true and just to come to light, and God does see every wrong. Scripture teaches that His judgment is perfectly righteous, that He will give to each according to what is due. Yet it also teaches that God in His great lovingkindness often delays judgment, not because He overlooks evil, but because He is long suffering and desires to give time for repentance, that those who have sinned might wash away their transgressions and turn back. That delay is mercy, both for the one who has done wrong and for us, who also need mercy.

For this reason we are warned not to treasure up wrath for ourselves or to keep anger against another and then ask God to destroy him. The ways of revengeful men lead to death, and to remember injuries and nurse anger is to practice the soul in evil. We ourselves draw near to God asking forgiveness for much greater debts than any neighbor owes us, and we are taught to have a human soul, trained to all gentleness. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay with perfect justice in His time, both in this life through rightful means and in the day when all things are revealed. What He requires of us now is not to call down immediate punishment, but to entrust justice to Him and to keep our own hearts from being hardened by bitterness.

So I cannot join you in praying that God would immediately punish, humiliate, or destroy this doctor on demand. That is not how Christ teaches us to pray. Instead, I will pray with you in a way that seeks what is good and right before God.

I will pray that God will bring healing to you in body and soul, and comfort to every patient who has suffered. I will pray that the truth about what has happened will be made clear through proper and lawful means, and that those who have responsibility to protect patients will act with wisdom and fairness, so that no one else is harmed. I will pray that this doctor, if he has done wrong, will be brought to see it clearly, to repent, and to turn from any harmful ways, for it is better that he be healed and corrected than that he be destroyed. And I will pray that God will keep your heart free from the heavy burden of wrath, and give you peace, strength, and the grace to forgive as you have been forgiven, knowing that forgiveness does not mean pretending no wrong was done, but releasing vengeance into God’s hands.

If you believe there has been serious malpractice or abuse, it is right to seek help through proper channels as well as through prayer. Consider speaking with a trusted pastor, a counselor, and, if appropriate, seeking advice about how to report your concerns to the hospital, the medical board, or other lawful authorities who can examine the facts justly. Bring trusted people alongside you so you do not carry this alone.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, You see all suffering and You judge with perfect righteousness. We bring before You this pain and every patient who has been hurt. Bring healing where there is wounding, bring truth where there is confusion, and bring justice where there is wrong. Work through those You have appointed to oversee these matters, that what is right will be done. Grant repentance where repentance is needed, and grant to the one who prays a heart guarded from bitterness, filled with gentleness, patience, and trust in Your righteous judgment. Give peace that goes beyond understanding, and lead all of us toward Your mercy and Your everlasting blessings. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this, amen.

Your pain and your cry for justice come through very clearly, and God hears the distress of those who have been hurt. It is understandable to feel strong anger when you believe you and others have been treated badly and have suffered harm. Scripture shows there is an anger that is not sinful, an anger at what is wrong and unjust. Jesus showed anger when He saw the house of God misused and when religious leaders would have kept a man from being healed because of their own traditions. To be grieved by evil and by the suffering it causes is not itself sin.

Yet Scripture also gives a clear warning, be angry and do not sin, and do not let the sun go down on your wrath. The same passage says to put away bitterness and wrath and anger and shouting and slander and malice, because these things grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom you are sealed. One reason is that bitterness does not stay contained. Like a root it springs up and troubles you and it can defile many others around you. What begins as a right concern for what is wrong can become a bond that holds you and harms you more than anyone else. The gall of bitterness and the bond of wrongdoing hurt the one who carries them.

God is the righteous judge. He sees what has been done, He knows the truth about every person and every situation, and His anger is kindled against injustice. He does not hide the sins of men, and He will judge righteously. That is different from asking Him to destroy a person on our terms or on our timetable. We can trust Him to bring what is hidden into the light and to establish what is right, whether through conviction and repentance or through rightful accountability in the proper channels. If there has been wrongdoing, it is right to seek truth and accountability through lawful and orderly means, and to pray that the truth will be known and that no further harm will come to others.

At the same time God calls His people to a spirit of forgiveness from the heart. Forgiveness is not a matter of counting how many times, it is a matter of the heart. In the same way God has provided a righteous basis to forgive us through Jesus Christ who took our sins and bore the penalty for them, He calls us to show kindness and to forgive as we have been forgiven. That does not mean calling wrong right or pretending harm did not happen. It means releasing the right for vengeance into His hands and asking Him to give you a heart free from bitterness. He will give the capacity to forgive if you are willing to ask Him for it, even when you pray, God, take away this bitterness and give me Your spirit of forgiveness.

There is also healing for the wound that remains. The promise of God is that there is forgiveness and cleansing when we come and ask, and that He can heal what has been broken and troubled in our conscience and heart. You do not need to be hounded by what has happened. You can come to Jesus and receive His love, His pardon and His healing.

So I will pray for you, not for vindictive harm to another, but for what is good and right before God. I pray that the Lord will bring comfort and healing to you and to any others who have suffered, that He will bring truth to light and establish justice in His perfect way, that He will work in the heart of this doctor to bring conviction and repentance if there has been wrong, and that He will keep your own heart from being consumed by bitterness. I pray He will lift the weight of anger and give you peace, and that He will help you to walk in kindness and forgiveness while trusting Him as the one who judges justly.

If you are willing, ask Him even now, Lord, heal my heart, take away bitterness from me, give me Your spirit of forgiveness, and let Your justice and Your mercy be done. He hears that prayer and He is faithful to answer.
