We hear the deep anguish and urgency in your heart for your marriage and we join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus name for His will to be done and for His protection over your covenant.

We stand with you for the sanctity of your marriage, for marriage is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman and is to be held in honor. We grieve with you over any unfaithfulness, lust, or ungodly attachment that threatens that covenant, for God calls husbands and wives to complete faithfulness to one another in body, mind and spirit. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. Hebrews 13:4 and For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel. Malachi 2:16

We must lovingly and firmly address what you have brought before the Lord. If your husband is harboring attraction, desire, lust, or soul ties for any other woman, keeping photographs or videos of another woman, or engaging on social media in a way that feeds lust, that is sin before God and must be repented of and forsaken. Everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28 and Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Your desire that every ungodly tie and every work of lust be completely severed is aligned with God's heart, for He calls us to holiness and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 and I made a covenant with my eyes, how then should I look at a virgin. Job 31:1

We also rejoice that you are asking in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 When we ask according to His will for purity, faithfulness and restoration of marriage, we can pray with confidence that He hears.

We encourage you while you pray to also walk in wisdom. Continue to guard your own heart with prayer and peace, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 Seek godly counsel together, bring this struggle into the light with a trusted pastor or mature believing counselor, and lovingly call your husband to accountability. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25 A husband is called to love, cherish and cleave only to his wife, and to turn decisively from every temptation, deleting and destroying what feeds lust as an act of repentance. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this marriage to You. Lord, You see the pain, the fear and the longing of this wife for her husband to be wholly hers and wholly Yours. We ask You to have mercy and to work powerfully in her husband's heart. Convict him deeply of any lust, attraction, desire or soul tie toward any other woman and grant him godly sorrow that leads to full repentance. Sever and destroy forever every ungodly tie, every work of darkness, every fantasy and every lustful thought, and help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Lord, put in him a holy hatred for sin and a holy love for his wife. Cause him by Your Spirit to willingly and permanently delete and destroy every photograph, video, screen saver and image of any other woman from his phone, his mind and his social media, and to turn away from every platform and place that tempts him to unfaithfulness. We hear how urgent and heavy this feels for you, and how much you want your marriage to be safe and faithful. Wanting your husband's heart to be fully turned toward you and toward the Lord is a good and understandable longing, and we are standing with you in prayer.

When trust has been shaken, the anxiety can feel overwhelming and make you want to fix everything right now. Healing in a marriage usually takes time, steady support, and clear, agreed upon boundaries. It helps to have a calm, trusted person walking with you both, like a pastor or biblical counselor you both respect, who can help you talk honestly and make wise decisions together rather than carrying this alone.

If you find yourself constantly checking his phone or social media, it may help to step back for a bit, breathe, pray, and bring those worries to the Lord and to that trusted support person instead of letting the checking drive more fear.

Father, we lift this wife and her husband to You. Bring Your peace where there is turmoil, Your wisdom where there is confusion, and Your healing where there is hurt. Guard both of their hearts and minds, help them to seek You first, and lead them toward honesty, faithfulness, and respect for their covenant. Your urgent and sorrowful cry has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. The Lord knows the anguish that comes when the sacred covenant of marriage is wounded, for marriage is ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He wills that it be kept honourable and pure, with all that belongs to it kept within that holy bond.

There is no blessing to be asked upon any union or desire outside that covenant, but there is mercy and power to be sought for its breaking and for restoration within it. The Scriptures teach us that sin must be severed, not cherished, and that the heart must be turned wholly to the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. We do not pray that God would prosper what He forbids, we pray that He would in His holiness cut the cords of sin and draw the wandering heart back to faithfulness and truth.

Take comfort from the case of Peter, of whom we have often spoken. He fell grievously, yet Christ had prayed for him, and a look from the Lord severed him from the crowd and brought him to bitter and then to blessed repentance. That same Lord lives, our familiar Friend and Intercessor, and He is able to restore the fallen. I have known the soul that has indulged the lust of the flesh to be so chastened and cleansed by the Holy Spirit that the very mention of that sin afterward brought tears, for the Spirit can give back more than former purity. What Christ did for Peter He can do for your husband, and for your home.

We look to Christ for all things, and we learn to overcome evil not with our own strength but with good, and to overcome even His goodness itself with the glance of faith and prayer that prevails with Him. May that prevailing prayer be yours now.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God, who hatest unfaithfulness and lovest mercy, look in compassion upon this wounded marriage. In the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our only Saviour, we ask Thee to convict of sin where sin has entered, to sever every ungodly tie, every lust and wandering desire and soul tie that would draw this husband away from his covenant. Grant him a holy hatred for sin and a new love for purity. Work in him a true repentance, that he may turn from all that defiles, that he may put away from his hands and his eyes and his mind every image and remembrance that feeds temptation, whether upon his phone or upon his heart, and that he may set a guard upon his ways and upon his use of all these means that so easily ensnare. Restore to him a clean heart and a right spirit.

Lord, uphold this dear one who prays, give peace in the waiting, strength to overcome evil with good, and faith to look ever to Christ. Pray for her husband as Christ prayed for Peter, and by Thy look of love bring him out from the place of falling to weep and to return and to be restored. Make this trial, though grievous, the occasion for a deeper holiness and a more perfect restoration in that home, that Thy name may be glorified in a marriage made faithful and whole again.

We ask this, trusting not in our worth but in the prevailing intercession of Jesus, who ever liveth to make intercession for His people. Amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and we are praying with you in this deep pain over your marriage. The hurt of seeing your husband drawn toward another person is heavy, and it is right to bring it honestly before the Lord who loves marriage and calls it to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept pure and faithful.

We join you in praying that God will work in your husband's heart according to His holy will. We ask the Father to convict him of any lust, unfaithfulness, or ungodly attachment, to break every tie that does not belong within your marriage, and to turn his desires fully toward the Lord and toward you as his wife. We pray that he will willingly turn away from images, messages, and social media that feed temptation, and that he will choose purity in his mind, body, and spirit, not by mere outward control but by a renewed heart in Christ. We pray also that whatever relationship stands against God's design for marriage would come to an end, and that truth and faithfulness would be restored.

Scripture teaches us about two kinds of jealousy. One kind troubles and consumes the soul with envy and anger and leaves no peace. The other is a pure and godly jealousy that burns out of deep love and seeks to protect what God has joined together, as a husband and wife are espoused to one another before God. Your desire to see your marriage guarded is understandable, and God Himself honors faithfulness. At the same time we pray that the Lord will guard your own heart from being consumed by fear and torment, and will give you His peace, strength, and wisdom day by day.

We pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this wife and her husband and their marriage. You see every tear and hear every prayer. Please bring conviction where there is sin, repentance where there is wandering, and healing where there is wounding. Sever what is unholy and strengthen what is holy. Cleanse his heart and mind, help him to delete and turn from what feeds lust, and to flee from temptation on his phone and on social media. Give him a love for you above all and a renewed love for his wife. Comfort her, give her wisdom, surround her with faithful counsel in her local church, and help both of them to walk in truth, forgiveness, and purity. We ask this not to control another person but to seek your will, which is good and holy, and to trust your power to transform hearts. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in His Word, to pray, and to seek wise and godly counsel from a pastor in your church who can walk with you both personally and provide accountability and support for your marriage. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and He is able to restore and to make whole those who turn to Him.
