We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of God to seek justice, repentance, and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. Your cry for vindication is not ignored by the Lord, for He is a God of justice who hears the afflicted and will not turn a deaf ear to the oppressed.

First, we must address the spirit of unforgiveness and the desire for personal vengeance that may be present in this request. While your pain is valid and the wrongs done to you are real, Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord alone. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and the desire to see this person broken rather than redeemed. While God will judge justly, He also desires repentance and restoration. Ezekiel 33:11 says, "As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?’" We must pray for conviction, yes, but also for the opportunity for this person to turn from their ways and seek God’s mercy.

We also lift up your own heart before the Lord. The wounds you carry are deep, and we pray for your healing. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in your suffering, and God sees every tear you have shed.

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the pain and injustice that has been done. Lord, You see every wrong, every hurtful word, every act of neglect or cruelty. We ask that You would move mightily in the life of this individual, that You would arrest their heart with the conviction of Your Holy Spirit. Break through the hardness, the pride, the selfishness, and the anger that has caused so much harm. Let them see the weight of their actions, not just toward this one person, but toward all those they have mistreated.

Father, we declare that no peace will come to them until they repent. Let Your hand rest heavily upon them, not to crush them, but to lead them to a place of genuine, heartfelt repentance. May they be brought to their knees before You, acknowledging their sins and seeking Your forgiveness. We pray for a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, one that shatters their resistance and draws them into Your light. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from them completely.

We also pray for protection over those who have been hurt by this individual. Lord, shield them from further harm and begin the work of healing in their hearts. Where there is bitterness, replace it with Your peace. Where there is anger, replace it with trust in Your justice. Where there is pain, bring Your comfort and restoration.

Father, we ask that You would intervene in this situation according to Your will. Stop the cycle of hurt, and let Your righteousness prevail. May this person’s life and work be transformed by Your power, so that they no longer bring harm but instead become a vessel of Your love and grace. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are just and Your judgments are true.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You. There is no other name that saves, no other name that heals, and no other name that brings true justice. We submit this prayer to You, trusting that You will act according to Your perfect will. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to release this burden fully into God’s hands. Cling to His promises, and allow His peace to guard your heart. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel or a trusted believer to walk with you through this healing process. You are not forgotten, and God’s justice will prevail.

We hear how much pain is behind your words. Being treated badly by someone who holds authority over your care cuts deep, and when it affects many others too, the hurt can feel overwhelming, even righteous. It is completely human to cry out for justice and for the one who caused harm to be stopped and changed. You are not wrong to bring those raw, honest feelings to God; He sees exactly what happened, and He cares about every part of it.

In these moments, when the ache of what should have been, kindness, respect, safety, is so sharp, one of the hardest but most healing things we can do is to hand the full weight of the injustice over to the Lord. That doesn’t mean pretending it wasn’t wrong or that it didn’t wound you. It means we make a conscious choice to trust God to handle the person and the outcome, so that we ourselves can begin to breathe again. A simple but powerful step could be to take some time alone, write down every frustration, every incident, every angry thought in a private letter, then, when you are ready, fold it up and tell God you are releasing it into His hands, asking Him to be the righteous Judge and to free your heart from the weight of keeping score.

We do not have to wait until we feel forgiving to take that first step of will; we just open our clenched hands and let Him see all of it. He can bring the offender to genuine humility and change in His own way and timing, and He can also restore your own sense of peace and dignity right now.

Lord Jesus, you see the hurt and the anger, and you do not turn away from it. Comfort your daughter in the places where she has been mistreated, and restore her sense of safety and value. We ask that you would work in this doctor’s heart to bring true, lasting change, not for his humiliation, but for his own soul and for the protection of every patient in his care. In the meantime, give your child rest from the turmoil, and let her know she is held securely in your love. Amen.

To pray for the conviction of a sinner is right, but take heed, carnal repentance is not the repentance unto life. Judgment may produce a sorrow that is of the flesh, a terror that flees the pain of sin but not the sin itself. That sort of repentance needs to be repented of. What your soul must crave for this man is that the goodness of God might lead him to repentance, the sweet work of the Spirit that gives glory to the justice of God, even while it condemns him. Do not merely cry out for his punishment; cry out for his salvation. The Lord does not drive a sinner to His feet with the whip of a slaveholder; He draws him with cords of love. Pray that this might see the beauty of Christ and loathe himself, not only for the hurt he has done, but for grieving so gracious a God.

And what of your own heart? True repentance abhors the sin, yes, but it also lays hold of Christ for pardon. It makes the sinner weep because love has been spurned, not only because consequences have been felt. Can you look upon this man and pray, “Father, forgive him,” from a heart that knows it has been forgiven much? The healing leaves of the Tree of Life are not for your enemy alone; they are for every nation, every wounded soul, and you need their balm as surely as he does. The Lord who heals the broken-hearted can make my own wounds a channel of mercy if I will let Him. Pray for a mighty encounter with Jesus Christ for this poor creature, yes, but pray with a spirit that longs to see him washed and restored, not merely humbled into an apology. For remission and repentance are wedded; where the one is true, the other is sure. May the Lord grant you both to see His goodness afresh, that your own heart be kept from the root of bitterness, and that this might yet prove that the power of Christ can turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
