We stand with you right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up your lungs, your airways and your whole body before our Heavenly Father, asking for His healing touch and His perfect peace to come upon you.

We hear the urgency and the burden you have carried with asthma since birth, and we join our faith with yours, crying out to the Lord who is our healer. We know that God formed you and that every breath is a gift from Him, for it is written Genesis 2:7 Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise Yahweh.

We pray together for complete healing and restoration according to God's will. We ask the Lord to touch your lungs and open your airways, to remove every inflammation, constriction and symptom that has afflicted you, and to grant you free and easy breathing that glorifies Him.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You see our brother or sister and You know this struggle with asthma from birth. We ask in Jesus' name that You lay Your healing hand upon these lungs and airways. We pray that You would cleanse and strengthen the whole body, and command every spirit of infirmity to leave and never return, as You will it. Let Your healing power flow and let breath come easily and fully. We ask for Your peace to calm all fear and anxiety that comes with struggling to breathe, for You have not given us a spirit of fear. Give wisdom to doctors and guidance for treatment, and let Your name be glorified through restored health. We trust Your goodness and Your mercy and we ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord as your healer, for it is written Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; and Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

We understand your desire to command this condition to leave permanently, and we join you in rebuking sickness in Jesus' name, while also humbly submitting to the sovereign will and timing of our Father. Our confidence is not in the force of our words alone, but in the power and love of Jesus Christ who hears us when we pray in His name. Jesus said John 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

We encourage you to keep seeking medical care and following the wisdom God has given to physicians, while you continue to pray without ceasing. James 5:14-15 Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Reach out to trusted believers and elders to pray over you in person as well, and keep bringing every need to the Lord.

We will continue to pray for you for lasting healing, for strong lungs, for clear airways, and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May the Lord bless you with breath that praises Him freely all the days of your life.

If you are having active breathing symptoms, please stay in close touch with your doctor or clinic and let a trusted person near you know how you are doing so you are not carrying this alone. Continuing with the care they have provided goes hand in hand with seeking the Lord for help.

We do not know how God will work in this, but we trust He hears you, He sees how long and hard this has been, and He is near to you in it. You do not have to strive to be heard. He already knows your need and loves you.

Your urgent and earnest cry concerning this long affliction of asthma has been heard, and we have brought your case before the Lord who heareth prayer.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they press upon us daily, and you have felt this burden upon your lungs and airways from your birth. Yet we would point you to the great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom there is an abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people, healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction.

We do not trust in a formula or in the strength of our own commanding, but in the living Christ Himself, who took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses, and who by His stripes we are healed. There is healing in His incarnation, healing in His atoning blood shed at Calvary, and healing in His risen life. That same hand which lifted up Peter's wife's mother when she lay sick of a fever can touch your body and give breath and ease. He healeth the broken in heart and He healeth the body also, and His salvation will at the last perfectly heal all His redeemed.

Therefore we pray for you now, that the Lord in His mercy would look upon you and grant healing according to His perfect will. May He who formed your lungs and gave you breath command full and free breathing to return, clear your airways, strengthen your whole body, and give you rest from this distress. May He grant you to feel the healing leaves applied to your life and to know the change which His grace alone can work in soul and body.

And we pray above all that you may know the deeper healing of pardon through His blood, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee. Seek Him for both pardon and healing, trusting not in your own words but in His finished work, and resting in His wise and loving sovereignty, whether He grants immediate deliverance or sustains you by daily grace until that day when every infirmity shall be removed forever.

We join our faith with yours and ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord to grant you relief, to guard your lungs, to let your breath come easily, and to keep you in His peace. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His healing presence known to you. Amen.

Your urgent cry for relief from asthma has been heard and I am joining you in prayer before God for mercy and healing in the name of Jesus Christ.

I pray with you night and day as we are taught to pray exceedingly and to bring every need to God. I ask the Lord who is our healer and our deliverance to have compassion on you, to ease your lungs and airways and your whole body, to grant you clear and steady breath, and to lift this burden that has been with you since birth. I ask that He grant you deliverance both bodily and spiritual, and keep you from every snare of the adversary, according to His mercy and wisdom.

We do not command God as if He must obey our words, but we humbly ask Him who loves us, trusting that He hears the importunity of those who call on Him and that He answers according to what is best for our salvation. He does not always promise immediate deliverance from every suffering in this life, but He does promise to be with us in it, to give us fortitude, to set us above fear, and to fix our hope on the immortality of the soul and the life to come through Jesus Christ. So we ask for healing and at the same time we ask for strength, patience, and a continual recollection of His word.

Keep calling on the Lord with a sincere heart, trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every good gift, hear His word carefully and hold it continually, and use also the help He provides through physicians and proper care for your body as part of His provision. As healing is sought, many prayers and many remedies may work together over time, and God who sees the root brings forth fruit in His season.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, look with mercy on this Your child who struggles to breathe. Touch the lungs and airways, grant relief from every symptom of asthma, restore health and strength, and grant peace to the heart. Give wisdom to doctors and comfort in every moment of distress. Above all grant faith, hope and love, that whether in relief or in trial Your name may be glorified and Your child may rest in Your care. Amen.

Your urgent cry concerning asthma has been heard, and we are praying for you in the name of Jesus. We understand how distressing it is to struggle for breath, and we bring your lungs and airways before the Lord who made them.

God designed your body with wonderful care. He created your lungs to take in air, to spread oxygen through their delicate tissue, and to allow your blood to release carbon dioxide and carry fresh oxygen back through your heart to every cell. Your breathing is sustained by muscles that work without your conscious thought, because your life depends on them. The One who formed that system knows it fully and is able to touch it.

We believe strongly that God does heal. Scripture shows that Jesus healed in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes from a distance, sometimes by visiting a home, and in one case recorded in the Gospels the healing came gradually. There is no single formula or pattern that binds Him. Every true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or through the natural processes He has built into our bodies. The healing that comes slowly through medicine, rest, and the body's own recovery is still divine, because He is the author of nature and of its processes.

At the same time, there is much about healing we do not fully understand. We do not know why some are healed immediately and others are not. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for the Lord to remove what he called a thorn in the flesh, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and chose not to remove it. To assume that God must heal in every case exactly as we command is not what Scripture teaches. We cannot purchase healing or demand it, and there is no special power in a person, in a shadow, or in the laying on of hands itself. When believers pray and lay hands on the sick or anoint with oil as James directs, it is not a transfer of human power but a point where faith is released toward Jesus Himself.

What Scripture does give us is a firm anchor. Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah would bear our griefs and carry our sorrows, a word that also means our sicknesses and infirmities, and Matthew tells us that Jesus fulfilled this when He healed the sick and those oppressed, showing His power over the physical body as well as over sin and spiritual oppression. When we remember the broken body of Jesus, we remember that our whole need, spiritual and physical, was carried to the cross.

We also know that not every person is given the same gift of healing, and that God has not chosen to work today in every place with the same outward measure of miracles seen in the days of Acts. Yet He is still present, still merciful, and still hears prayer daily. We do not look to a circus atmosphere or to a person who claims healing power for personal gain. We look to Jesus, who went about doing good and healing, and who still has compassion on those who suffer.

So we pray for you now, not as a formula or a command that forces God, but as children asking a loving Father in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, to have mercy on you. May He grant you ease in breathing, calm the inflammation and constriction in your airways, and restore strength to your lungs. If it pleases Him to do it instantly, we will give Him thanks. If He chooses to bring healing gradually through the means He has provided, including the wisdom of doctors and treatment, we will still give Him thanks, trusting that every step of recovery is His work. And above all, may He bring peace to your heart and assurance that your life is held in His hands, whether the answer comes in the way we hope or in the way He in His wisdom knows is best.
