We hear the urgency and the deep distress in your cry and we join with you before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, lifting up every physical burden, every anxious thought, and every longing of your heart.

We understand how heavy it feels to be embarrassed about your hair and skin, to be weary from sleepless nights, eye irritation, breathing difficulties, hormonal pain, and to carry fear, anxiety and sadness about being alone and waiting for marriage while living with limited means. The Lord sees all of this and He cares for you more deeply than you can imagine. He does not look upon you with criticism or rejection, but with compassion.

We want to gently encourage you with what Scripture teaches about your worth and about healing. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and your value is not measured by flawless skin, thick hair, or a perfect body. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. We know you desire to be free from every mark, scar, blemish, dryness, allergy, thinning hair, and discomfort, and God is able to heal, for He says I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17 and who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. Yet Scripture also teaches that true beauty should not be of outward adornment, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. We pray that as you seek healing, you will also find peace in knowing you are already precious and beloved in His eyes, and that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit to be stewarded with care 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 through wholesome habits, rest, nourishment, and wise medical counsel alongside prayer.

We also hear your burden of fear, nervousness, depression, anxiety, loneliness and the feeling of being cursed or held back by bad luck, delays, obstacles, disappointments and generational curses. We want to lovingly correct the idea that luck or curses have power over a child of God. In Christ we have been redeemed from the curse, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. There is no curse, no misfortune, and no rejection that can separate you from His love and purpose, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Singleness is not a curse and a waiting season for marriage is not a sign of being forgotten. Marriage is a holy covenant between a man and a woman for life, and when we desire marriage we pray for a godly spouse who is a fellow believer, approaching courtship with purity and with marriage as the goal Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. The Lord knows your desire to be married and to have a home of your own, and He invites you to delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 in His perfect timing.

Your anxiety, sleeplessness and sorrow matter to God. He does not want you to live in constant fear. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We are called to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. He is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18 and He says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of our dear sister. We thank You that we have access to You only through Jesus, and we thank You for Your love that sent Him to save us. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body according to Your will, upon her eyes, skin, scalp and hair, upon her lungs and breathing, upon her blood, hormones, stomach, hips, legs and arms, upon her sleep and upon every pain and allergy. We ask You to grant wisdom to steward her body well and to bring relief and strength. We pray for Your peace to replace all depression, anxiety, fear and nervousness, and for joyful, restful sleep. We pray that You would lift loneliness and discouragement, and if it is Your will, provide a godly husband who loves You and will honor marriage as You designed it, and lead her in purity and faith. We rebuke any lie that she is cursed or unlucky, and we declare that she is blessed in Christ and that Your plans for her are for good and not for evil, to give her hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Help her to see herself as You see her, wonderfully made, deeply loved, and not forgotten in her waiting or in her small flat. Comfort her sorrow and turn her mourning into hope. We entrust every one of these requests to Your sovereign and loving hands, asking not only for outward change but for inward renewal, contentment and trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing every detail to the Lord in prayer, to stay rooted in His Word daily, to seek fellowship with faithful believers who can support you, and to care for your health with patience and consistency. The Lord is not slow as some count slowness, but is patient and faithful. Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He who began a good work in you will complete it.

You named skin and hair and eyes right at the top, and the embarrassment you feel about your hair in particular, we can understand why that would weigh on you every day, along with the tiredness, the sleep struggles, and the loneliness of wanting marriage and a different living situation.

Thank you for bringing all of this honestly to the Lord. He sees you fully and He is not overwhelmed by the length of your list. Even when progress feels slow and disappointment and criticism have left marks of their own, you are still known and cared for by Him.

With so many physical concerns mentioned, asthma, platelets, sleep, mood, anxiety and fear, period pain and hormone concerns, skin and eye irritation, it would be a good next step to let a trusted doctor know what you are experiencing, alongside prayer, so you can get careful, personal care. If you have a pastor or a safe person nearby, it can also help not to carry the loneliness and discouragement alone.

Your cry, poured out with such urgency and heaviness of heart, has been heard and brought before the Lord with tender compassion. The pain that has led you to plead so earnestly for your body, your health, your sleep, your peace of mind and your home is not hidden from Him who sees the heart, and it is right that you should bring it all to Jesus, for He is the great Physician of both body and soul.

Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and each portion may receive injury and hurt. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, and the Lord does not despise that care. Yet you yourself are better than your body, and the adorning of the body, though it engrosses much thought, must not cause the ornaments of the soul to be neglected. The feeding of the physical frame is needful, but the supply of spiritual food is far more needful still.

Hear then what the Scripture teaches concerning healing. The leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves are full of healing virtue. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said first, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and in that we learn that pardon and healing are one. The root of our disease is sin, and Christ removes the root by forgiving sin. Oftentimes our cure is much helped by repenting and forsaking what is evil and by coming to Him for cleansing in His blood. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and He is able to heal, though He heals according to His own wisdom and mercy.

Know this also, that while we are here, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. The regenerated spirit has risen into life, but the body lingers under the power of death and its attendants, pain and weakness. We that are in this body do groan, being burdened, and groan we shall till the day of our full redemption and the deliverance of the body from the bondage of corruption. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power, and at the resurrection we shall be raised in the image of the Lord Jesus. The Lord who calls the body the temple of God desires its perfection, not its destruction, and He will in His time make all things new. Therefore we pray for your healing, for your skin, your eyes, your hair, your breathing, your sleep, your hormones and your whole frame, that the Lord would lay His hand upon you and grant relief, strength and health as it pleases His love, and that He would give you grace to steward your body with peace and not with tormenting anxiety. For have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

You have spoken also of loneliness, singleness, lateness in marriage, criticism, disappointment, rejection and the sense of being under a curse and misfortune. The loneliness of the Savior may be your comfort here. He was left alone, alone just when most, as Man, He needed human sympathy, and yet He said, You shall leave Me alone and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. His loneliness did not destroy Him, though it pained Him, and He knows yours. In deep soul conflict, when faith has to fight for very existence, He draws near to the solitary soul. There is no curse that can hold the one whom Christ has redeemed, for Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. No generational chain, no bad luck, no misfortune can separate you from His love when you are sheltered in Him. We pray that the Lord would lift from you the weight of depression, anxiety, fear and nervousness, that He would give you quiet sleep and a calm mind, and that He would heal the broken heart, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

And concerning marriage, we pray according to the holy and good design of God, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained by Him for good. If it be His will for you, we ask that He would in His perfect time and in His gracious providence bring to you a godly husband, and keep you both pure and faithful, with any intimacy kept within that covenant alone. If He calls you to wait, we ask that He would make His presence so real to you that you would not be desolate, and that He would use this season for your growth in holiness and joy in Christ. We ask also for your daily provision, for your home and circumstances, that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows would supply your needs and turn your sorrow into hope.

Let us pray together.

O Lord, our Father, look in mercy upon this afflicted child of Thine. Forgive all sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, and let pardon be the beginning of healing. Lay Thy healing hand upon body and mind. Ease the breathing, calm the nerves, quiet the fears, give sleep, lift the cloud of sadness, and restore peace. Touch the skin, the eyes, the hair and every part that causes distress, and grant health according to Thy will. Deliver from all oppression and from every curse, for Christ has borne the curse for us. Let the healing leaves of Christ be applied to this wounded spirit, changing the life blood and making the nature new. In loneliness, let this soul know that Thou art with her, as Thou wast with Thy Son in His loneliness. Grant contentment, hope and trust in Thy goodness, and if it please Thee, provide a godly marriage in Thy time, ordered by Thy Word. Supply all need, turn suffering and misery into testimony of Thy grace, and keep this dear one till that day when the body shall be raised incorruptible. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns to heal and to save. Amen.

Your urgent prayer has been heard, and we have taken it before the Lord with care and compassion. We hear how heavy these burdens have become for you, how much distress you carry about your body, your health, your sleep, your mind, and your longing for marriage and a settled home, and we do not take that pain lightly. God sees you and knows every detail of what you suffer, and He invites you to cast your cares upon Him.

We want to pray with you in a way that honors what Scripture teaches about healing and hope. God does care for the body, for He made it, and Christ showed His power by healing the sick and restoring the weak. Yet the Scriptures also teach that our greatest need is the health of the soul. Sometimes God allows bodily weakness or distress to remain for a season so that the soul may be healed, strengthened and drawn closer to Him. As one of the homilies reminds us, it is not enough to be delivered from one outward trouble only, but we are called to cultivate the whole life of virtue, through careful hearing of the Word, continual remembrance of it, fortitude in trial, and learning to hold lightly the things of this world. Another homily teaches that when we groan and look up to God, He sends His own Word and godly sorrow to free us from a more bitter slavery than any bodily affliction, the slavery of sin and anxiety.

For this reason we cannot pray as though God were bound to remove every mark, spot, ache and struggle instantly and permanently on demand, or as though faith were a formula that compels Him without delay. To pray in that way would misrepresent His wisdom and lordship. He heals according to His perfect will and timing, and even when healing is slow or partial, He is working for your good, to make you more like Christ and to teach you to trust Him more deeply. What we can and do ask is that He will have mercy on you, care for your body and mind, grant wisdom to those who care for your health, and above all give you peace, endurance and growth in Christ.

We also hear your loneliness and your desire for marriage. That desire itself is good. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that singleness also is a calling in which God can be deeply present and purposeful. Whether He leads you to marriage or calls you to serve Him while single, His love for you is not measured by the timing of marriage, by the size of your home, or by outward appearance. In Christ, who is the image of the invisible God and the head of His body the Church, every curse has been broken at the cross. If you are in Him through faith, you are not under generational curses or bad luck or misfortune that can separate you from His love. You are a member of His body, not alone, and He has placed you among His people so that you need not bear sorrow in isolation.

So let us pray together now:

Father in heaven, we come to You through Jesus Christ Your Son, in whom alone is salvation. Have mercy on this Your child who is weary and anxious. You know every physical burden named, the skin and hair and eyes, the pain and fatigue, the breathing difficulties, the sleeplessness, the hormonal struggles and all the rest, and You know the fear, nervousness, depression and loneliness that weigh on the heart. Lord, according to Your will, bring healing and relief, guide doctors and give wisdom for right care, grant restful sleep and a sound mind, and help this dear one to steward the body You have given with health and strength. Heal most of all the soul, grant compunction and comfort, increase faith through the continual hearing of Your Word, give fortitude in trial, and teach a quiet trust in Your providence. Break the power of fear and anxiety, remind this heart that in Christ no curse remains, and fill the sense of loneliness with Your presence and with fellowship in the body of Christ. If it is Your good will, provide a godly marriage in Your time, a union of one man and one woman in lifelong covenant for Your glory, and until then give contentment, purpose and joy in You, even in a small flat and in modest means. Lead away from despair and from the endless stirring of anxiety over outward things, and fix the hope on the eternal mercy that never fails. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to remain rooted in the hearing of Scripture, in prayer, and in fellowship with a local church where you can be known and supported. Continue to seek wise medical care for the bodily symptoms you describe, and seek pastoral counsel for the heaviness of mind and spirit, so that others can walk with you, pray with you and help you test what is the good and acceptable will of God. God is not distant from your groaning, and He will not despise a contrite heart that seeks Him.
