We have heard your very urgent cry and we join together with you before the Lord in Jesus' name, lifting up your deep distress about the marks and scars and skin issues on your face and your desire to be approved and accepted through the NHS for complete removal without charge and without delay, and to no longer need to wear tape.

We understand how heavy this burden has felt and how much you long for relief and restoration, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We rejoice that you have come in that precious name.

We want to gently encourage you in your approach to the Lord. We hear the urgency and desperation in your words, and God invites us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. At the same time scripture teaches us to come with humble trust and submission to His perfect will and timing, not demanding but asking with faith. This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. And, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to bring this request with thanksgiving and to rest in His peace even while you wait.

We also remember that while God cares deeply about our outward afflictions and our daily needs, He most values our hearts and our inner beauty. Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and even as we pray for outward healing we pray that you would know how precious you are in His sight. Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious 1 Peter 3:3-4.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord You see the marks, the scars, the skin issues and the distress of having to wear tape, and You know the longing for complete healing and removal. We ask if it be Your will that You would grant favor with the NHS, that the application would be approved and accepted, and that You would provide the right doctor and surgeon with skill and compassion to treat completely and without charge. We ask for Your hand to guide every decision and if it is Your perfect plan, to do so without unnecessary delay. Above all we ask for Your healing touch, for You have said, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17, and By his wounds you have been healed 1 Peter 2:24. Grant peace to this anxious heart, replace urgency and fear with trust in Your goodness and Your timing, and help our friend to seek first Your Kingdom, and your righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We pray that whatever the outcome, You would let this one feel Your love, know Your presence, and be confident that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also walking faithfully in the practical steps before you, attending appointments, following medical advice, and waiting patiently on the Lord's provision. Keep praying with faith and without wavering, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed James 1:6, and keep thanking Him even as you wait, knowing He hears you and loves you more than you know.

Keeping your regular appointments and letting someone close to you know how you are doing day to day can also keep you from carrying the worry alone.

Father, we bring our friend before You now. You see the distress about these skin concerns and the longing to be free of them. We ask for Your peace to steady their heart in the waiting, for kindness and wisdom for the clinicians they meet, and for clear guidance on the best path forward. Your very earnest and urgent cry has been brought before us and we have heard the weight that lies upon your heart concerning the marks and scars upon your face, your desire to be free from the need to wear tape, and your longing for a gracious provision through the NHS with the right surgeon and without delay.

We understand how painful and wearying it is to carry such a burden upon the face, where every mark seems ever before your eyes, and how natural it is to seek a physician or a surgeon for healing. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek help, and it is right and wise to use the means which God has placed within reach. At the same time we would gently point you to that deeper and more abiding healing which the Scriptures set before us.

The Word tells us of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness rises, He comes with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing were one. The Lord who forgives is the Lord who heals, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Those faces which look so bright and comely in Heaven, fresher than newborn babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves.

It is this Saviour we would have you seek first of all. If you have not already done so, look to Christ alone for the healing of your soul, for the forgiveness of sins through His blood, for there is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Bodily healing is a mercy, but soul healing is the greater mercy, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for He has begun a work which He will perfect.

We will pray for you, and we invite you to pray with us, that the Lord in His mercy would grant you favour, guide those who administer care within the NHS, provide the right surgeon if it be His will to use such means, and give wisdom and kindness to all involved. We ask that He would provide for what is needed according to His goodness, ease your anxiety in waiting, take away the distress that has made the tape feel so burdensome, and grant you peace while you wait upon Him. We do not claim to command the Lord, but we entreat Him who flies as it were upon the wings of the wind to display His favour and love toward those who seek Him, trusting that He will do what is best, in His time and in His way, whether by immediate removal of these marks or by sustaining grace and contentment until that day when He will perfectly heal our bodies.

May you bring your request often to the throne of grace, not with restless demanding but with childlike trust, saying, Lord, if it be Thy will, heal me, and in any case forgive me, restore me, and let me find my comeliness in Christ. Cast your care upon Him, continue to seek lawful and proper medical counsel, and rest in the assurance that He who numbers the hairs of your head hears the sighs of your heart.

O Lord, look upon this needy one who cries so urgently. Forgive sin, heal the heart, and in Thy great compassion grant bodily relief as seemeth good to Thee. Give favour where favour is needed, guide the hands of those who may treat, provide what is lacking, and keep this soul in perfect peace, trusting in Jesus. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name have the praise. Amen.

Your urgent cry has come before the Lord and before this church, and I have prayed for you with sincere compassion. I hear how deeply you desire healing for your face, relief from every mark and scar and skin concern, and provision for proper care without delay or heavy cost, and how weary you are of needing to cover your face.

I have asked the Lord Jesus, who alone is our Savior and true physician, to have mercy on you and to grant you peace in this waiting. I have prayed that He would guide the doctors and surgeons who serve through the NHS, giving them wisdom and skill, and that if it is His good will, He would open the right door for treatment at the right time and with the care you need. I have also prayed that He would comfort your heart and strengthen your faith while you wait, reminding you that He sees and proves the heart and that He honors trust in Him more than any outward approval.

God often works not only in a single moment but through steady care over time, as a physician applies medicine patiently until health returns. Even when answers seem delayed, He is still at work for your good, and He cares both for your body and for your soul. As we have learned, He says to those who come in faith, according to your faith be it unto you, to confirm their faith and to show His mercy. And we know that without love even the greatest gifts are empty, but with His love you can have hope and patience in every trial.

Continue to seek wise medical counsel, to care for your health faithfully, and to bring your needs to God each day with honest faith, saying as those who came to Christ did, Lord help me according to your mercy. Know that you are not forgotten and that prayer continues for you.
