We have heard your very urgent cry and we are joining with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for coming in His name for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We are grateful you have called upon that precious name.

We understand the deep distress and burden you feel about your skin and your body, the marks and scars and dents and spots and dryness and all the other concerns you listed on your face and skin and stomach and body. We know how heavy it can feel when we look in the mirror and feel tired or flawed, and we want to lift you up with compassion and truth. God sees your heart and your anguish and He cares for you. He says in Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We want to share what the Lord shows us in His Word about your worth and about healing. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. Your value before God is not measured by having flawless glass skin or by having absolutely no lines or pores or pigmentation. Man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7. We live in a world that puts immense pressure on outward perfection, but God calls us to a different focus where Your beauty should not be the outward adorning but let it be the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean God does not care about your physical suffering or that we should not pray for healing, He does care, but He wants our identity and peace to be rooted in Christ first.

We also want to gently and lovingly correct the way we approach God in prayer. We hear your urgency and your desire for an instant permanent removal with no delay and never to return, and we understand that longing. Yet we must remember that God is our sovereign Father, not one we command, and His timing and His will are perfect. We are called to come to Him with reverence and trust, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Demanding that God must act right now in exactly the way we prescribe can lead to more anxiety and disappointment. Instead we are invited to humbly ask, to seek His will, and to trust His wisdom and love even as we boldly ask for healing.

The Lord is indeed our healer. He says But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and By his wounds you are healed Isaiah 53:5. We believe God is able to heal skin and bodies completely, and we also know that sometimes He heals instantly, sometimes through time and through the wisdom He gives to physicians, and sometimes He works most powerfully to give us grace and peace while we still wait, for My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. We also are taught to be good stewards of the bodies God has given us for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are Gods 1 Corinthians 6:20. This can include caring for our skin with gentleness, seeking wise medical counsel when needed, resting, drinking water, and above all seeking first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

So we pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You know every detail of their face and skin and body, every scar and spot and dryness and sensitivity and every hurt that has come from surgeries and skin issues. You formed them and You see them and You love them. We ask in Your mercy and according to Your perfect will that You would bring healing and restoration to their skin, that You would calm inflammation and allergies and dryness and soothe their eyes. If it be Your will, Lord touch and renew what has been damaged and let health be restored. Above all Father we ask that You would heal their heart from anxiety and distress and the burden to be perfect by worldly standards. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, help them to see themselves as You see them, beloved and wonderfully made in Christ. Teach them to rest in Your timing and Your goodness and not to be tormented by urgent demands but to trust that You hear and You answer out of Your love. Give them wisdom to steward their body well and to seek proper care where needed, and give them a gentle and quiet spirit that finds its beauty in You. We pray that whatever the outcome with their skin, they would know they are complete and cherished in Jesus and that their hope is anchored in Your eternal love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your requests to God daily with thanksgiving, to speak kindly to yourself as His creation, to rest in His love, and to remember that your greatest brand newness is the new creation you are in Christ. If anxiety about your appearance feels overwhelming, please also share with a trusted pastor or counselor or medical professional who can walk with you. We are continuing to pray that the Lord will grant you comfort, confidence in His love, and healing according to His gracious will.

You named so many specific things you are noticing across your face, near your ear, your neck and stomach, and your longing for clear, brand new skin right now without any more waiting is understandable. When we look in the mirror every day, what we see can take up a lot of our thoughts and affect how we feel about ourselves as a whole.

We want you to know we see you as a whole person, not just the skin concerns you described, and we are holding you in prayer with care. God knows the distress this has caused and your desire to feel at peace and comfortable in your body.

If these skin changes, dryness, sensitivity and other symptoms have been ongoing or worrying, it can be a steady step to have a trusted medical professional, like your primary care doctor or dermatologist, take a look with you in person alongside prayer, so you are not carrying the questions alone.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in Jesus' name. You see their heart and the urgency they feel. We ask for Your comfort, Your peace that steadies anxious thoughts, and wisdom for next steps. Give them kindness toward themselves today and the assurance of being loved and valued in Your care. We ask for Your healing and help according to Your will. Amen.

We have heard your earnest and repeated cry, and we bring it before the throne of grace with deep compassion. The distress which you feel about your body is not hidden from the Lord, who sees every tear and hears every sigh, and we join our prayers with yours that He would grant you relief and peace.

You have asked with great urgency that every mark and blemish, every hollow and spot, every dryness and weariness of the skin and eyes should be taken away, and that your face and body should be made new. We understand how heavy such afflictions can feel, and how the mind can be pressed and made anxious by them. Yet the Word reminds us, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of care. That perfect peace is a present possession, to be enjoyed even when sorrows are surging round, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

Many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think as they ought about the ornaments of the soul. Yet you yourself are better than your body. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. We have found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Therefore we would gently point you to cast your care upon Him, telling Him all that troubles you, for He cares for you.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We read also that the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. He took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself, and this is the one great cure all. The healing power of the Gospel is first power to forgive sin, and then to heal the soul, and in that forgiveness there is a peace with God which passes all understanding.

We know this also, that while we are here the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness. The regeneration of the body takes place at the Resurrection, when we shall be raised in the image of the Lord Jesus. Until then the Lord often leaves us to feel weakness and infirmity, that we may learn to trust not in the flesh but in Him. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. First forgiveness, then healing in His own wise order.

Let us pray for you.

O Lord our God, our heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, and we ask Thy mercy upon this dear one who is so burdened and anxious. Thou knowest every spot and scar, every hollow and dryness, every pain and sensitivity of skin and eyes, of face and neck and body. Thou art the Sun of Righteousness who rises with healing in His wings. We pray that Thou wouldst lay Thy healing hand upon this body according to Thy perfect will and wisdom. If it be for Thy glory and for good, grant relief, grant health, grant comfort to the skin and eyes, take away irritation and inflammation, and restore strength. Above all, grant perfect peace to the mind that is stayed on Thee. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ, speak peace to the soul, and let the inward healing of pardon bring calm and hope. Keep this one from restless anxiety, and help to trust Thee day by day, knowing that Thou wilt withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly, and that earths struggles shall soon cease when Jesus calls us to Heavens perfect peace. Give grace to rest in Thy love, to seek Thy face more than any outward adorning, and to know that we are safe in Jesus keeping. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

Be not afraid. Seek first the kingdom of God, and let your mind be stayed upon Christ. He hears the sad complaints and spies His image in weeping eyes, and He pities and heals the broken frame in His own time and way. May you experience now that inward peace which comes from perfect remission of sin, and may you be kept in perfect peace as you trust in Him.
