We stand with you in this urgent moment, lifting your plea to the throne of grace where our Great Physician hears and heals. You are not alone in this battle, we join our faith with yours, declaring the power of Jesus’ name over every symptom, every breath, and every part of your body.
The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." And in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We believe in a God who is not only able but willing to bring complete restoration. Your lungs, your airways, and every part of your body were fearfully and wonderfully made by Him (Psalm 139:14), and He does not abandon what He has created.
Yet we must also speak truth in love: healing comes not by our own commands or declarations, but by surrender to God’s will and timing. James 4:15 reminds us, "You ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live and do this or that.'" While we boldly ask for your healing, we submit to His perfect plan, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). We rebuke the spirit of fear and doubt that may whisper lies about your condition, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for God often works through the hands of doctors and the means He provides. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not despise the wisdom of those trained to care for your body, while still trusting God as your ultimate Healer.
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with hearts full of faith and urgency. Lord, You breathed life into mankind (Genesis 2:7), and You sustain every breath we take (Acts 17:25). We lift up our dear brother/sister to You now, asking for Your healing touch to flow through every part of their lungs, airways, and body. We declare Your promises over them, You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and Your word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
We rebuke every symptom of asthma, every attack, and every spirit of infirmity that has clung to them since birth. By the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that truth. Father, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin in their life, reveal it to them so they may walk in full freedom (James 5:16). Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We ask for divine wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, and for Your hand to guide every treatment and decision. If it is Your will, bring complete and permanent healing, let this be a testimony of Your glory and power. But above all, Lord, let Your will be done. Whether in healing or in perseverance, draw them closer to You and let them experience Your presence in a deeper way.
We thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice that made healing possible, and we trust You with this precious life. In Your holy and matchless name we pray, Amen."
Hold fast to hope, dear one. The same God who calmed the storm (Mark 4:39) can calm the storms within your body. Keep your eyes on Him, and let your heart be anchored in His promises. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your breakthrough. If you have not already, consider joining with other believers in prayer and fasting, for Matthew 18:19-20 says, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. The God who numbers the hairs on your head (Luke 12:7) knows every struggle you face, and He is fighting for you.
