We have heard your very urgent cry and we join together with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name, bringing every part of this burden to our Father who hears and cares deeply for you.
We understand the weight of prolonged loneliness and singleness, the ache of waiting for marriage, the pain of living alone in a bedroom council flat, and the heaviness that comes with sadness, sorrow, misery, rejection, criticism and disappointment. We also lift up before the Lord your physical suffering with skin issues and asthma symptoms, and the spiritual and emotional oppression of depression, anxiety, fear, stagnation, obstacles, delays, lack and poverty. We know the Lord sees all of this and He has not forgotten you. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:6 and He has promised For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
We want to gently encourage and correct you in love where your prayer asks for absolutely permanent end to all these things right now forever never to return. We share your longing for deliverance, yet we must trust God's perfect will and timing rather than demanding instant removal on our terms. His ways are higher than our ways and He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28. We are called to wait for Yahweh, be strong, and let your heart take courage, yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14. We also cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
Concerning singleness and lateness in marriage, we strongly affirm the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed it. We pray not simply for any relationship to end loneliness, but for a godly marriage that honors God if it is His will for you. We encourage you to see this season of courtship as preparation to seek a spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ, pursuing purity and holiness, for any intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor the Lord. We pray you will be kept pure as you wait and that the Lord will prepare both you and your future spouse. Seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you Matthew 6:33. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4.
We also address the fear of curses, misfortune and poverty. In Christ we are not under a curse, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. No criticism or rejection from people can define you when you are accepted in Him. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come together for this dear one who is weary and heavy laden. We ask for Your healing touch upon skin and lungs, that asthma symptoms would be eased and body restored, for by His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and You have promised I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for deliverance from depression, anxiety and fear, and that Your perfect love would cast out fear and Your peace would guard heart and mind. We pray against stagnation, obstacles and delay, and ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way and to lead this life into fruitfulness and purpose. We pray for provision over lack and poverty, that You who supplies all needs would open doors for provision and stability. We pray for loneliness to be broken, that You would surround this life with godly fellowship, community and family in Christ, and if it is Your will, bring a godly spouse for a Christ centered marriage that endures for life. Teach us to wait upon You with hope and to trust Your timing, which is always good. We rebuke any lie that this suffering is permanent or that a curse has power over a child of God, and we declare freedom in Jesus name. Let Your will be done, let hope rise again, and let joy return. We thank You that we have access to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and we are grateful You hear us when we pray in His name. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
