We hear the deep pain and anger in your words, and we want to approach this with both truth and compassion. First, we must acknowledge that your cry for justice is valid, God cares about how we are treated, especially by those in positions of authority and care. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 31:8-9, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." You are right to seek justice, and we will stand with you in prayer for that.
However, we must also examine the spirit in which this request is made. The words "totally punish" and "totally sack" carry a weight of vengeance that does not align with Scripture. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While we can and should pray for justice, we must leave the execution of that justice to God, trusting that He will act in His perfect timing and way.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers should be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" There is no other name by which we can approach God, and it is through Jesus that we find both justice and mercy.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this situation to You, knowing that You see all things and that You are a God of justice and righteousness. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the life of Dr. Ahmed. If he has acted unjustly or unethically, we pray that You would bring his actions to light and that You would deal with him according to Your will. We ask that You would protect those who have been harmed by his actions and that You would bring healing to their hearts and bodies.
Father, we also pray for this dear one who has cried out to You. We ask that You would comfort them in their pain and anger. Help them to release their desire for vengeance into Your hands, trusting that You will act justly. Fill their heart with Your peace and remind them of Your love and care for them. Lord, if there is any bitterness or unforgiveness in their heart, we ask that You would soften it and help them to extend grace, even as You have extended grace to them.
We pray for Dr. Ahmed, that if he does not know You, You would draw him to Yourself. Convict him of his sins, Lord, and lead him to repentance. If he is a believer, we ask that You would discipline him in love and restore him to a place of integrity and compassion.
Father, we also pray for the broader system that allows such injustices to occur. Raise up godly leaders and healthcare professionals who will act with integrity, compassion, and excellence. Bring reform where it is needed, Lord, and let Your name be glorified in all things.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is our Advocate and our Judge. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support. If you have been mistreated, it may be appropriate to report this to the proper authorities or medical boards. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Surround yourself with wise, godly people who can help you navigate this situation in a way that honors God.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God sees you and loves you deeply. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will bring justice and healing in His perfect way.
