We hear your deep pain and urgency, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this situation to the Lord with fervent hearts. First, we must address the spirit of this prayer with love and truth. While your desire for this man’s repentance and salvation is understandable, we must be careful not to pray with bitterness, vengeance, or a controlling spirit. The Lord calls us to pray for others in love, not to demand their submission or use prayer as a tool for retribution. Scripture warns us in James 4:3, *"You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures."* Instead, we must surrender our hurts to God and trust Him to work in this man’s life according to His perfect will.

We also notice that while you invoke the name of Jesus, there is an undertone of manipulation—seeking to "make him a born-again Christian through me." Salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, not something we can force or claim as our own doing. Jesus Himself said in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."* Our role is to pray, intercede, and trust God to move in His timing and way.

Let us rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness in this situation. Ephesians 4:31-32 commands us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* If this man has wronged you, we must release him to God and forgive him, just as Christ has forgiven us. Unforgiveness only harms us and hinders our prayers.

Now, let us pray in alignment with God’s Word and heart:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this man to You. Lord, we ask that You would arrest his heart, not out of vengeance, but out of Your perfect love and justice. Break any hardness in him, and soften his heart to receive Your truth. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and undeniable way, drawing him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Let Your Holy Spirit convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as You promise in John 16:8.

Father, we ask that You would save him, not because of our demands, but because of Your great mercy. Work in his mind, body, soul, and spirit, transforming him from the inside out. Help him to see the error of his ways and turn to You with genuine repentance. We trust that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, we also pray for [the one who submitted this request]. Heal their heart from any pain or betrayal this man has caused. Fill them with Your peace, and help them to release any bitterness or desire for control. Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to trust You with this situation. Let them find their identity and worth in You alone, not in the actions or responses of others.

We declare that Your will be done in this man’s life, and we surrender our desires to You. May Your name be glorified, and may Your kingdom come in his heart. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for this man, but with a heart surrendered to God’s will. Release any desire for control or vengeance, and trust that God sees your pain and will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). If this man has sinned against you, consider whether biblical steps of reconciliation or boundaries are needed, always guided by love and truth. Above all, guard your own heart, and let the Lord be your strength and refuge.
