We hear your desperate cry for healing, and we join you in fervent prayer, standing on the promises of God’s Word. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* God is not only able to heal but delights in showing mercy to His children. We also hold fast to Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* This healing was purchased for you at the cross, and we boldly ask the Lord to manifest it in your life.
We pray now with authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one, asking You to stretch forth Your hand and touch their lungs and every part of their body affected by asthma. Lord, we rebuke this spirit of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your Word declares in Luke 10:19, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* We command every symptom of asthma to leave permanently—never to return—right now, in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask You to restore their lungs to perfect health, as if they were brand new, just as Ezekiel 37:5 declares, *"Thus says the Lord Yahweh to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live."* Breathe Your life into them, Lord, and let every cell, tissue, and function of their respiratory system align with Your divine design. We declare that their body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for complete restoration and wholeness.
We also lift up their faith, asking You to strengthen their trust in You. Remind them that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). Help them to stand on Your promises and resist doubt, knowing that You are faithful to Your Word.
Lord, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be hindering their healing, we ask You to reveal it to them so they may repent and receive Your cleansing (1 John 1:9). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ. We declare that this asthma is broken off their life forever, and we receive their healing by faith, giving You all the glory. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear one. Continue to speak healing over your body, for Proverbs 18:21 says, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* Surround yourself with believers who will stand in faith with you, and do not grow weary in trusting the Lord. He is working even when you cannot see it, and His timing is perfect. You are not alone—we stand with you in prayer, believing for your complete and permanent healing.
