We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for restoration and purity in your marriage. Heavenly Father, we know that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church, and we stand on Your Word that declares, *"Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Mark 10:9). We rebuke every ungodly influence, every temptation, and every spirit of infidelity that has sought to corrupt this union. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every unholy connection to be broken—every photograph, message, memory, and emotional tie to other women must be erased from his mind, heart, and devices. We declare that his eyes, his affections, and his loyalty belong solely to his wife, as You designed.
Lord, we pray for a supernatural cleansing of his heart and mind. *"Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within him"* (Psalm 51:10). Let him not be ensnared by the lust of the flesh or the deceitfulness of sin, but let him walk in purity, as You have called him to. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of compromise—every secret, every lie, every moment of unfaithfulness. Let there be no foothold for the enemy to exploit. We declare that he will delete every trace of these ungodly connections permanently, without hesitation, and that his phone, his social media, and his entire life will reflect only his devotion to his wife.
Father, we also pray for your healing touch upon this marriage. Where there has been betrayal, bring repentance and forgiveness. Where there has been brokenness, restore trust. Where there has been distance, draw them back together in love. *"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8). Let this trial become a testimony of Your redeeming power.
We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception that has sought to destroy this union. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says, *"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict, correct, and guide him into all truth.
Lastly, we pray for the wife who has cried out to You in this moment. Strengthen her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her not be consumed by fear or bitterness, but let her trust in Your justice and Your timing. Give her the grace to extend forgiveness as You have forgiven her, and the wisdom to walk in love without enabling sin.
We seal this prayer in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. May Your will be done, and may this marriage be restored for Your glory. Amen.
