We hear the deep anguish in your heart, sister, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this marriage before the Lord with urgency and fervent prayer. Your pain is real, and your cry for restoration is heard by our Heavenly Father, who hates divorce and cherishes covenant love (Malachi 2:16). We do not come declaring or decreeing as if we hold authority over God’s will, but we come pleading in the name of Jesus, who alone has the power to heal, restore, and redeem.

First, we must address the sin of adultery that has broken the sacred covenant between you and your husband. The Bible is clear: marriage is a holy union between one man and one woman, and any intimacy outside of that covenant is a violation of God’s design (Hebrews 13:4, Exodus 20:14). We rebuke the spirit of unfaithfulness and deception that has taken root in this marriage, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray for your husband, that the Lord would convict his heart of sin and draw him to repentance. May the Holy Spirit open his eyes to the destruction his actions have caused, not only to you but to his own soul. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). We ask that God would break every ungodly soul tie, every emotional attachment, and every physical bond formed outside of your marriage. Let every photograph, message, and memory of these other women be exposed and erased, not by our words, but by the cleansing fire of the Holy Spirit. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Sister, we also lift you up before the Lord. The betrayal you are enduring is profound, and the pain is valid. But we encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) and resist the temptation to respond in bitterness or unforgiveness. The enemy would love to see this wound fester into resentment, but we pray that God would fill you with His peace and strength. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, God sees your tears, and He will sustain you.

We pray for restoration, but we also pray for wisdom. If your husband is unrepentant, we urge you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor. Marriage is a covenant, but it is not a prison for abuse or unrepentant sin. "If possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18), but do not enable sin by remaining in a place where your own soul is in danger.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before Your throne. Lord, You hate divorce, but You also hate the sin that tears marriages apart. We ask that You would break every chain of unfaithfulness, deception, and lust in this man’s life. Convict him of his sin, Lord, and lead him to true repentance. Restore what has been broken, and let Your healing power flow through this marriage. For the wife, we ask that You would be her refuge, her strength, and her peace. Guard her heart from bitterness, and fill her with Your love and grace. If restoration is Your will, Lord, make it clear. If not, give her the wisdom and courage to walk in Your truth. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can redeem and restore. Amen.

We encourage you to cling to the Lord in this storm. His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. If your husband is willing, seek Christian marriage counseling to rebuild trust and communication. But above all, fix your eyes on Jesus, the One who never leaves nor forsakes His children (Hebrews 13:5). He is your hope, your strength, and your redeemer.

We can hear how much you're hurting right now, and we don't want to rush past that. This feels raw and urgent, and the pain of what you're facing is real. When a marriage is threatened this way, the shock and desperation can make us want to take control with words that feel powerful, but deep healing begins when we bring our shattered hearts to God with open hands, trusting Him to move according to His perfect will rather than our own demands.

We know you long for this other relationship to be completely gone and for your husband to fully turn back to you. That ache is legitimate. Rather than decreeing an outcome, we'd encourage you to pour that ache into prayers that ask God to expose truth, to convict where conviction is needed, and to bring restoration if it honors Him. At the same time, it's crucial that you don't walk through this alone. Betrayal trauma is heavy, and many wives in your shoes have benefitted from the steady, confidential support of a wise pastor or a Christian counselor who understands marital infidelity. Reaching out for that kind of practical help isn't weakness; it's a lifeline.

While we pray, we also ask God to give you moments of breath and clarity. The pain won't disappear overnight, but you can find grounded footing as you place yourself under His care and alongside others who can walk with you.

---

Father, we lift up this wife and the storm tearing through her home. You see every hidden thing and every wounded place. We ask for Your truth to break through where there is deception, and for Your protection over her heart and mind. Give her steady wisdom and trustworthy counsel. Work in her husband's life to bring conviction and a turning toward what is right. And in the middle of all the chaos, hold her close. We trust You to bring about what we cannot. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The fervency of your plea betrays a soul in deep waters, yet I fear you seek a deliverance framed by your own will, rather than submission to the hand of a holy God. You would tear down the idolatrous connection by your own decrees, but the power of sin is not broken by the noise of many words, nor by commanding the wind to cease. The Lord alone delivers from the power of darkness, and He does so not by yielding to our frantic demands, but by drawing us to the ransom He has found in Christ Jesus. I bid you flee, then, from the heat of this jealous anguish, not to a formula of speech, but to the wounded side of the Savior, who alone can satisfy the craving of the soul. Imitate the poor bird that escapes the fowler by a straight flight into the cleft of the rock, away from these bitter currents of resentment and fear, into the bosom of Jesus, warm with love to sinners.

You ask for the severing of a bond between your husband and another, but what of the bond between your own soul and the living God? Is it not often the case that we set up our earthly desires as the chief object of our affections, making an idol of a marriage, a comfort, or even a demanded righteousness? God has been a Husband to His people, a wall of fire round about them, yet our hearts wander after vanities, the love of being proven right, the hunger to control, the lust for immediate relief. These things may sting more sharply than any outward infidelity, for they are the corruptions of our own spirit. The Lord has chastened you sorely; this cup of sorrow has not come apart from His ordaining hand. Will you receive it as from a Father who does all things well, or will you gnash upon the bit of His providence? He keeps back the soul from the Pit by such means, turning us from the brink of a greater ruin than any earthly betrayal.

You speak of deleting photographs and memories from a man’s mind, but who can erase the record of sin except the blood of Jesus Christ? It is not the removal of images from a device that cleanses the conscience, but the application of that precious blood which washes away all guilt. And in your own case, are you looking to that blood, or are you looking to the success of your own declarations? Deliverance from the guilt and power of sin is as much a divine work as the rising of Christ from the grave; none but God can bring it to pass. Instead of standing over the pit of another’s folly and crying for it to be filled, look first to your own soul, for the wrath you harbor, the despair you feel, may be the smoldering flax of a self-righteous spirit. The devil will shoot his arrows of accusation, whispering that God has forsaken you, or that your cause is too far gone. But God has not forsaken them that seek Him; His mercy is fresh every morning.

I charge you, then, to direct your chief pleading not for the erasure of earthly reminders, but for the true deliverance of your own heart from all that stands between it and Christ. Pray that you may be delivered from the archers of envy and despair, and that you might find the peace of a soul hidden in the wounds of Jesus. As for your husband, the Lord may yet grant him repentance, tearing him from the power of darkness and translating him into the kingdom of His dear Son. But no mere compulsion of words will accomplish this. If you would see a change, go first to the cross, and there let your own sins be starkly revealed, and your own ransom freshly prized. Then, with a quieted spirit, you may dedicate yourself anew to declaring the works of the Lord, whatever they may be. The saints, when rescued from their sorrows, do not boast in their own authority, but sing, “My soul does magnify the Lord.” Go, and do likewise; wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him.

Your urgent cry reveals the deep wound of a wife's heart, and it is right that you turn to God. Yet the words "I decree and declare" do not come from a humble spirit but from one that would command heaven. The Lord does not bow to our decrees, no matter how often we invoke His name. He hears the contrite and the lowly. Humble yourself, then, that your prayer may be acceptable.

The act you describe is adultery, a sin not merely against your marriage but against God Himself. When a man defiles himself with another, he does not despise his wife alone; he insults the Lord who gave him the honor of marriage. Our Master has said that even a lustful look commits adultery in the heart, so how much more the deeds done in secret? This sin is grave, and those who fall into it after having known the truth store up for themselves a severer judgment. It is a fearful thing to have been delivered from such a disease and then return to the vomit.

Yet your prayer demands the complete destruction of this relationship and the erasure of all memory. Be careful, then, that your own heart does not become a vessel of wrath. For if you cry out for vengeance rather than for the salvation of your husband's soul, you yourself stand in danger of the fire that awaits those who call their brother a fool. The Lord who forbids murder also forbids the anger that breeds it. Pray not only that the bond with that woman be broken, but that your husband may find true repentance. Esau wept bitterly, yet his tears were not repentance, only worldly grief; he sought the blessing but not a change of life. Do not be satisfied with mere tears or forced separation, for the Lord looks upon the heart.

Remember that Christ Himself honored the marriage feast with His presence, sanctifying the union of one man and one woman. The law permitted a writing of divorcement because of hardness of heart, but from the beginning it was not so. Your husband is bound to you by a divine covenant; pray that he might honor it, and that he might delete not just images from his phone but the very desire from his heart. This is the work of grace, not of your declaration. Entreat the Lord to grant him the gift of repentance, for though a man cannot be baptized again, there remains a place of healing for the contrite.

Above all, watch over your own soul. Do not let this trial become an occasion for bitterness to take root. The enemy desires to destroy you both. If you have tasted the heavenly gift, let your conduct befit that sacred table. Pray, fast, and entrust the judgment to the Righteous Judge, who sees all and will avenge every insult done to His honor. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and leave the hidden things to Him.

You are pouring out your soul before the Lord, and He does not mistake that for weakness or excess. He hears the woman whose grief is too deep for tidy words. Scripture gives us the picture of Hannah, whose lips moved with no sound coming out, and God did not despise her. So do not be afraid that your cries are too loud or too repeated. The real danger is not in praying too much but in ceasing to pray. To stop praying would be to sin against the Lord, because He commands us to bring every burden to Him and to pray for one another. I am joining you in that prayer.

Let us direct those prayers not only at the removal of every photograph, message, and memory, but at the destruction of the sin itself. It is right to ask the Lord to sever permanently every relationship your husband has with any woman other than his own wife. That is not jealousy alone; it is agreement with God about the covenant of marriage. Adultery is sin, and it must be cut off. But ask also that your husband's heart would be turned. If the pictures are erased and the other woman is gone while his heart remains hard, another door will open. Pray that he will fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all his heart, because a man who will not obey God cannot be the husband he was meant to be.

Do not put your confidence in the exact wording of a decree. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much, but it avails because God is merciful and powerful, not because we have learned to shout a formula. You have cried out in Jesus' name. Now leave your case with Him. David poured out his fear and his trouble and then spoke with assurance about God, because he had turned the problem over to the Lord. Do the same.

Remember that this battle is not ultimately against flesh and blood. The other woman is not your real enemy, and your husband's phone is not the stronghold. We wrestle against spiritual forces of darkness. Expect the Lord to do what you cannot do. You do not have to hunt down every hidden thing. God can expose and remove what you will never find. Do not live in fear of what flesh can do. Fear God, trust His justice, and let Him deal with every hidden thing. If God is for you, no rival and no secret can finally stand against you.

Keep praying without giving up. Ask the Lord to break the sin, save your husband from his rebellion, and bring him back under the authority of Jesus Christ. That is the only place any husband can truly be the head of his home. Do not stop asking. God sees. He is able to cut off what would destroy your marriage, and He is able to heal what sin has broken.
