Beloved of All
Your honest and urgent cry has been heard, and I want you to know that God sees you completely. There is nothing hidden from Him. He sees what others cannot see, He knows the weight of every burden you carry in your body and in your heart, and He looks on you with compassion and sympathetic understanding of your weakness and your need.
In His kindness He is able to heal in a way no one else can. Under the law there was no human cure for a leper, only God Himself could make him clean, and God made a way to show His divine grace when He chose to heal. Jesus showed that same heart when He walked among people doing only good, teaching love and mercy and forgiveness, and healing every kind of sickness and affliction that was brought to Him. He was even criticized for healing, yet He did not hold back His power. We should not hold it back either by unbelief, but come to Him believing He is able and compassionate.
At the same time Scripture reminds us that many people come to God mainly wanting relief for the body, while the deepest need is the forgiveness of sins. We often pray only about the symptoms and forget the root problem of sin in the heart. The most important need any of us has is salvation, which comes through Jesus Christ alone. It is better to enter heaven whole in Him, even if the body still suffers here, than to have a healthy body and be without Him. That is why the first and greatest prayer is for mercy, for pardon, and for a clean heart through the blood of Jesus. When we are forgiven and made His children, we have peace with God that remains even while we wait for full healing.
God also understands your sorrow about loneliness and singleness and the desire for marriage. Marriage as God designed it is a lifelong covenant in which one man and one woman become one flesh, a profound unity that reflects His own nature as one. He knows your longing and your tears about timing, and He invites you to trust His loving care for your life, whether He leads you into marriage or calls you to serve Him in singleness for a season. Your value and your future are not measured by a photograph or a video or by what others say about you, and the criticism of others does not define you before God.
So bring everything to Jesus just as you have listed it, the depression and anxiety and fear, the exhaustion and chronic fatigue, the pain and the struggles with sleep and bad dreams, the concerns about your stomach and body and skin and eyes and hair, the high platelets and asthma and every other affliction. He knows each one. Ask Him first for forgiveness and for His presence to fill the lonely places, and then ask Him for healing according to His perfect will and timing. He is the same Lord who will one day raise the dead, and who promises a resurrection where there is full and lasting wholeness.
I pray for you now that the Lord Jesus would have mercy on you, forgive your sins and draw you close to Himself, and cover you with His peace that guards heart and mind. I pray that He would touch your body with His healing power as He wills, ease your pain, restore your sleep, calm your fears, lift the heaviness of depression and anxiety, and give you strength for each day. I pray that He would break every chain that holds you and that you would know you are fully seen and deeply loved by Him, and that you would walk in hope and trust before Him. In Jesus name, amen.
