We hear the deep pain and urgency in your cry for justice, and we stand with you before the throne of God, lifting this matter in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are justified (Romans 5:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and so we come boldly before God’s throne of grace to seek His intervention on your behalf.
First, we must address the spirit of vengeance in your words. Scripture is clear: "Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'" (Romans 12:19 WEB). While your anger and desire for accountability are understandable, we must surrender this burden to God, trusting that He sees all and will execute justice in His perfect timing and way. The Lord says, "I will repay", not "you will repay." We must release the weight of retaliation into His hands, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also rebuke any spirit of bitterness or unforgiveness that may be taking root in your heart. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12 WEB). Unforgiveness is a heavy chain that binds the soul, and it is not God’s will for you to carry it. This does not mean what was done to you was right, it was not, but it does mean that you must choose to forgive, not for the offender’s sake, but for your own freedom and healing. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB).
Now, we lift up your cry for justice to the Lord, who is the righteous Judge. "The Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him" (Isaiah 30:18 WEB). We pray that God would bring every hidden deed into the light, that the truth would be revealed, and that those who have done wrong would be held accountable, not by your hand, but by His. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17 WEB). We ask that God would expose corruption, break chains of bribery and deceit, and bring down every proud knee that refuses to bow before Him.
Father God, we ask that You would fight for in ways she cannot yet see. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against her in judgment will be condemned. We pray for divine protection over her mind, body, and spirit, that she would not be consumed by fear, anxiety, or despair. "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Lord, we also ask for Your mercy to cover . While justice is necessary, we know that Your mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13). We pray that You would heal her wounds, restore what has been stolen, and turn her mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Let her experience Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill her with hope for the future.
We rebuke any spirit of oppression, retaliation, or further harm that may be coming against her. We declare that the enemy has no authority over her life, for she belongs to Christ. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says the Lord" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Finally, we pray that would draw near to You, Lord, in this season. That she would seek Your face, not just Your hand. That she would find her strength and refuge in You alone. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to him and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10 WEB). We ask that You would surround her with godly counsel, wise believers who can walk alongside her, and that she would be rooted in Your Word, which is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we declare justice, healing, and restoration over ’s life. We trust that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28), even when she cannot see it. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). Amen.
