Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf regarding the verbal abuse and harassment you have been enduring from your parents. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer that God would finally deal with this painful situation.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we ask Him to intervene with His protection and peace, to put an end to the harassment and harsh words, to soften and convict the hearts of your parents, and to heal the wounds these words have caused in your heart. We pray that He would be your refuge and strength and that He would bring restoration and respectful communication to your home. We cling to the promise that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18 and that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3, and we pray that you would experience His comfort and that your parents would be led to speak words that bring life as we are reminded in Prov 18:21.
